I purchased this system for my client’s vacation home rental website. Unfortunately this script is buggy and I needed to seek support a couple of times through the support forum. I had issues with the script not saving a value within the admin and preventing the user from booking on December 31st.

The support is a little slow, and instead of posting the fix to their private forum, they make you email them for the updated files. They providing you with the entire script to update (which is a pain if you’ve made modifications).

In one case, I updated the entire script which still didn’t fix the issue as promised. Finally after digging around the code, I figured out the problem… an extra space within the code. :S

All in all, I’m rating this script a 3/5 due to the bugs I experienced with multi-day bookings and the over-complicated support provided.

An update was scheduled for past weekend, and is now re-scheduled for this weekend, which will add new functionality and a lot of improvements/bug fixes and proper documentation.

any news on eticket plugin?

Unfortunately – no, there was no development for this plugin since the last time you inquired about it.

Its sad that this never progressed given a few people requested it and you confirmed it would be done… Its something I have personally been waiting for now for nearly 2 years.

We will get back to ticket plugin in the beginning of 2014.

Do you have an admin interface where you can manage the reservation and also clients? If is yes, can you provide an admin test URL? Thanks

Is it possible to display a list of attendees for each event?

I am wanting to use this so people can select/book a time slot for a 24 hour event and I would like people to be able to view who has already booked for each hour’s slot.

Can I do this?

Where I have 1 event at a location and different days available for booking

Hi raymondseow,

When you create an event in Booking System – you have to set date for it. So if you need same event available on other days – you will need to create same event for any other day. That’s if you will use events functionality.

What you can do also – you can setup single day calendar and set interval – as per your event times. For example, if event lasts from 15:00 to 18:00 – you can create single day calendar with work hours from 15:00 to 18:00 with minimum/maximum booking of 3 hours and with 999 spaces per interval (or whichever number of spaces is available for event). In this scenario this event will become it’s own calendar where customers can select date when they want to attend and there will be 1 time interval available – from 15:00 to 18:00.

I am really interested in buying this item but I am not sure of one thing, My client does coaching sessions so she would need to set up dates and times for her clients to then book, Does the ability for them to confirm there purchase via paypal come with this or is it an additional plugin in order to use this feature as this is really important to my client. Help would be great!

Paypal standard (redirect) is included in the basic bookingwizz. If you want to process credit card payments without customers leaving the site – then you need an addon.

It’s going good. Functionality which you wanted with language switching on the front end is already developed so it will be included in update.

I’m getting fully booked events on my calendar which makes the event not clickable anymore and it’s confusing my customers that they cannot click the event (not knowing its fully booked already).

Any way to say “sold out” or something when the event is fully booked? Or do you suggest maybe something else?

I have searched for hours on these comments and on support.convergine.com. Can’t find really anything or the answer. I have messed around with the functions.php file to show “0 spaces available” but that just shows a message for the days that I haven’t added a event to.

Looks like I’m using Version: 5.2.1

I figured a way. It works ha.

On function.php I replaced:

With:

This looks perfect for my client, the only feature I cannot see that he will need is to be able to offer seat tickets at different rates, i.e Adult £25 Child £15. Could you let me know if this is possible.

Hi, I am thinking about buying this, but have a couple questions.

Is customer information saved so that they can just type in thier username and password for future bookings?

I am trying to get this for an air conditioning company and need the bookings to range from 5 people allowed during certain timeframes such as 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-8pm. Would this be possible with this plugin?

Oh, and I don’t want to use any payment option with the booking…do you have to have monetary value attached to the booking?

Thank you for your interest.

There are no customer accounts at the moment. Every booking has to be done every time the same way, filling out the form with customer info (just 5 fields). Customers do have an option to cancel any booking and when they land on that manage link – they can view all their bookings (attached by their email).

You can set any number of “spaces” per time period (applicable to all time periods on the calendar).

In terms of payment option – you can set it to offline booking, in this case customers won’t need to pay online.

I can’t get the timemode to change from 24hr to 12hr

I even tried changing it in the database from 0 to 1, and nothing works.. when I go to create a service I still see 0-24 on the hour slots..

How can I get this changed?

You can set 99999 spaces for each timeslot, or event – that will be pretty much unlimited in this case.

Is it possible for my timezone to be automatically converted and presented to an end-user’s local timezone? I need clients to be able to see available tutoring times (which I set) in their local time zones. So, a client in Munich, Germany would be able to see my Denver, Colorado time converted automatically.

Your old threads were posted in “BookingWizz for Wordpress” and “Authorize.NET Payment Terminal” – as far as I see you’ve added only BookingWizz and BookingWizz Credit Card payments keys into the forum. This is exactly why we introduced these changes – because wrong posts were added in wrong forum threads. I have moved your old threads under BookingWizz – you should be able to access them now.

I cant post on support cause this is not working for me (worked before but not today). I have a question.

I have some reservations for 15 minutes each. How I can strict people to book a solid time not the separate? I mean this is ok if you book say 1 hour 4×15 each after each but this is no possible if you trying to book say 15 minutes at the morning and 15 minutes at the evening. Thank you.

Now I see I should over with my mouse to check if I can read topic. Very unusual usability approach.

You don’t need to hover over with the mouse. Active threads for your account have link (which has underline and different color), not-available threads are just text, no link. Glad you found solution!
