Hi one small question. Everything is working OK except the fact that the grayed logos only work in Chrome/Firefox. In IE 10 the logos still have colors. How can I fix this?

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin and I’m sorry for this limitation. You are correct, the grayscale doesn’t work on iE10, although it will work on older versions of IE. This is because IE10 dropped the support to dxfilters, needed to achieve the grayscale effect. (I wrote about this issue here). I am trying to find an easy cross-browser solution for this. Currently the solution available for IE10 is not very practical – as it involves or making the browser behave like IE9 (and therefore loose other features) or attaching an SVG overlay, which would change the code structure to much. I’m sorry for this current limitation. Greetings, Carlos

Hi, I love the plugin. One question though. How do I set it to 1 logo per slide, like the example carousel you have on your page. I want each slide page to have a larger version of the logo that will fit in my side bar, instead of 2 small logos per slide page.

I have it set to 1 minimum and and 1 slide to move and it still has two logos showing (that is my total # of logos). Not sure what is going on. Can you take a look?

Do you have also the maximum slides set to 1? You can send me a link here, or write me via the contact form on my profile.

Great support! Thanks so much Carlos

Hello, I am interested in your plug-in and curious if it allows for a fade as a transition type when set as a responsive horizontal carousel.

Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for your interest. By default, there is no transition ‘fade’ option, but that might be possible with some custom small changes on the carousel code – although this feature was not tested. You can set the mode to ‘fade’ but this will only allow one logo to display at a time, and pressing next will fade to the next one. For you to have a better idea, the carousel uses bxslider, so the API options available can be added in the code. If you have any other question, let me know. Greetings, Carlos

I have been using bxslider and was looking for an alternative that offered ‘fade’ as an option with multi-image carousels. Thanks for the quick response!

Hi Carlos,

I have the Carousel on our page and was it working fine but has now stopped for some reason. I can get it to work in grid mode but not carousel anymore. I tried it in the footer but the carousel still won’t work.

I’ve tried reloading it onto the site and that didn’t fix the problem. I haven’t touched any of the settings since i got it up and running until now.

You can try and check the browser javascript console for errors. If there are any javascript errors, you’ll find them there, and you’ll have an idea of where the error is coming from, and how to fix it. If you are able to confirm this other plugin is having javascript errors, the best would be to contact the plugin author and see how they can be fixed. If there are no errors in the console, then it could be a more tricky jQuery conflict that would need more deep investigation.

Hi Carlos. I have deactivated the other plugin and it is all working again. thanks for the support

When setting a responsive grid say 8 columns are the logo sizes predetermined as the one I am setting up are fairly small and i’d like to make them bigger, will logo image size setting change this?

Thanks Mark

Hi Mark, glad everything is working again. If you use the responsive grid, the logos will resize to fit the 8 columns, so they wont follow the size set in the settings page. For that to happen you can use the normal grid layout. That way the logos will keep the size you set on the settings page. This layout is also responsive, in the way it will float in the available space. Another way to make the logos bigger in the responsive grid mode, it to select a smaller amount of columns, like 6 or 4. Hope the info helps! Greetings, Carlos

Is there any plans for pagination support for categories with loads of logos?

Thanks

Hi! Thank you for using the plugin. Pagination support is on the list of possible things to implement in the future, although it’s not a priority feature, since it’s not a very popular request compared to other possible features. Can’t say when it will be implemented, but it’s for sure on the list of possible future features to be added. Sorry for the current limitation. Greetings, Carlos

Hi. This plugin looks amazing, congrats!

It is possible to combine grid with carrousel? I mean a carrousel with 2,3,etc rows of images.

thxs

Hi! Thank you for your interest. Multiple lines of logos in the carousel is still not an available option, but what you can do is stack multiple carousels with the same settings. Sorry for this limitation. If you have any other question let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Hi Carlos, thanks for that fast reply!

Dont be sorry, consider it a great idea for next version.

It’s possible to set different scroll speed to each category?

Best Regards

Thanks!

Yes, you can set different carousel settings (including speed) for each shortcode you create. If you see my demo page, you’ll see different carousels with different settings.

Greetings, Carlos

I’m mainly interested in the carousel function. I’ll be using a consistent size image, say 3 in a row in the carousel (out of 10 images total) and all images will have the same height.

1) Can your plugin do this? [I recently had bad luck buying a plugin where you could only do 1 of the 3 things I’m asking at a time, but not all 3 together].

2) And, is it possible to omit the arrows at the beginning and end?

I’d want just the bottom dots for navigating say 1 to 3 images at a time until at the end of 10 images total (as per example above).

Thx, Mary C.

Hi Mary. Thank you for your interest! I am not sure I understood completely what you need to do, but I changed this example a bit to see if it fits your needs: http://cmoreira.net/logos-showcase/responsive-carousel/ They are only 6 logos in total, but they could be as much as you needed. They move 3 logos at a time and they have the black dots for navigation, and not the arrows. The slides need to have the same width. So it works well with consistent sized images. You can also check the screenshot of the shortcode generator screen for this particular carousel: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByFmN5uglkU9Rko0UnJNWHU1RWc So you can see what other options you have. If this is not what you are looking for let me know. I can try and make a more specific example. Greetings, Carlos

Hi! this plugin is amazing!

But I would like to know if the “carousel slider” can be scrolled with the finger, insted of clicking on the arrow buttom.

Hi! Thank you for your interest! Yes, the carousel slider is compatible with touch devices and will respond to touch commands. You can visit this demo page http://cmoreira.net/logos-showcase/responsive-carousel/ on a touch device to test it out. If you have any other question let me know! Greetings, Carlos

Hi, How is it possible to increase the white space between uploaded images? Thanks.

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin. To increase the space between logos, it depends on the layout you are using. In the carousel layout for example, there is a setting for ‘Image Margin’ that controls the space between the logos. Hope the info helps! If you have any other question let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Hi Carlos, what licence do I have to purchase to use the plugin in 3 different websites? Extended?

Hi! Thank you for your interest. According to Codecanyon/Envato terms of available licenses, you would need to buy 3 regular licenses, 1 per site. If you have any other question let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Good day,

I am very pleased with your plugin, but have run across a couple of problems. First, the links on the icons are not working. Second, when it is scrolled(responding to the viewport resize), the flyover no longer appears over the icon.

Dev site is at http://184.168.218.164

Great plugin, I hope you might be able to shed some light on these small issues.

Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin and for the positive words! About the URL, make sure you have in the shortcode activeurl=’new’ or if you are using the widget, if you select the proper ‘URL’ option. If it’s set to inactive, the URLs wont work. Can you check if this is the problem?

About the tooltip not displaying when the slider is active (small viewport) I am not experiencing this problem. I have tried with Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Are you experiencing this issue with a particular browser?

Greetings, Carlos

My mistake, I forgot it was a widget. check the setting and the links are straight, thank you. With regards to the hover labels, it seems to work OK, until the icons wrap around but once they are back in their original location, it is ok. Not a show stopper, just a little off. Thanks again for getting me back on track!

Glad the links are working now! I’m not sure what could be causing the other issue. In case you don’t have the most recent version of the plugin (1.2.7) download the latest version from codecanyon and replace the all the files via FTP. Empty the cache and check if the problem persists. Greetings, Carlos

Hi, how can I reduce the gap between logos. I have very small logos 50×50px and the gap is 220px which makes the gap too much.I am unable to reduce it via css or in the settings. Can you help please. I have tried to put maximum to show down as 20 but that doesnt work either. Thanks

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin. Are you using the carousel layout? Did you try already to reduce the default image size in the settings and the image margin in the carousel settings? If you send me a link to your page I can take a look to see if there is something affecting the settings. Greetings, Carlos

Of course! I missed the default image setting. It’s perfect thanks for very fast support Carlos.

Glad it was an easy thing to fix! Happy I could help. If you come across any other issue let me know. Greetings, Carlos

I did that and it works if I place the php code in the header but I want it in the footer and when I place it in the footer it doesn’t even appear anymore, none of the images at all…any idea?

It’s possibly a jquery conflict. Can you place the carousel php code again and check if the browser reports any javascript error? I can also check this, just place the php code there and let me know. The images don’t display because they are hidden at first and then they are activated via jquery if the carousel will work. If it detects an error it doesn’t display. You can also send me a message via the contact form on my profile and we’ll comunicate from there. Greetings, Carlos

Just an update to this thread, in case someone comes across a similar issue: the problem was related to a javascript error being thrown by a jetpack plugin module related to gravatars. Once the module was deactivated, the carousel worked fine. Greetings, Carlos

Thanks for the reply…its http://dev.ussailing.org/ you can see on the footer where I have my logos.

I can get the images to appear without the horizontal carousel in the footer but that is what I am looking for….

Hi,

I have a site in which I use this plugin in my theme and it works fine, but I also have a mobile site which I am using a seperate theme and when I implement the php code into the theme, the slider does not work and just stacks all of my images on each other….am I missing something within my mobiletheme to make this work?

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin and I’m sorry for this setback. From the behavior you describe the plugin is failing to load the necessary jquery/css files to build the carousel. Check if the theme has the necessary wp_head and wp_footer functions.. If possible send me a link to the page and this way I can check the source to see what could be missing. Greetings, Carlos

Hi – Please see www.itdepotonline.com. The scroller works, however when all the logos scroll through, it shows an entire blank row before loading the logos again. Do you have a quick fix? It also is not responsive. Thanks – JC

Never mind I figured it out. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin! Glad you managed to figure it out. If you come across any other issue let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Hi! I’ve a problem, the plugin disappeared in my home page, and I don’t know why. I didn’t install any other plugin… The site il http://risorsauomo.it/ Thanks, G.

Hi! The fancybox jquery script that comes with the iphorm-form-builder plugin you have installed has some errors that are affecting the page and particularly the carousel of the logos. If you see the Javascript console of the browser ( http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/5403/h2bo.png ) you’ll see the error. Did you update that particular plugin? I would recommend to test to temporarily deactivate it to confirm that is the reason. Greetings, Carlos

Hi there! I’d like to have the horizontal carousel width larger and centered.

Any help?

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin. The carousel will have the width of it’s container. It will depend on your layout. If you want it larger, you’ll need to place it in a larger container. Can you send a link to the page where you have the carousel and describe better how you want it to display? Greetings, Carlos

I get different looks in different browser

safari images are colored and mouse over is colered firefox grey images with colored mouse over chrome grey images with colred images

what is wrong ?

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin. True, the grayscale effect wont work in all browsers as some are not compatible with this technique (css filters). I am trying to find a better cross-browser solution for this. Sorry for this limitation. Greetings, Carlos
