I’m looking for an audio plugin that can autostart a new song every time a picture is selected from the photo gallery. Is that possible with this plugin?

Because Firefox and Opera don’t have .mp3 support you need to use .ogg to cover these browsers, too.

This plugin is unfortunately garbage. I’ve been selling MP3s on the Internet for over 10 years and have never once used or needed an OGG file. Still, I created one because I liked the look of the plugin. Thee OGG didn’t work in Firefox. Then I opened my website in Internet Explorer 10 and the pause button doesn’t work. Then I opened it in IE 8 and the whole plugin doesn’t work because it’s in html5. I’m getting a refund.

If you say you have been selling MP3 file for over 10 years this means you have used only FLASH audio players. For a FLASH audio player you need only MP3 files.
For a HTML5 audio player (which is a newer technology) you need both .mp3 and .ogg extensions in order to cover all browsers.
This is no something particular with our HTML5 audio player, it’s the way all HTML5 audio players work (for the time being). Here’s the compatibility chart for Audio Formats and Browser Support: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_audio.asp

Hi, I have I question. I set the player on the footer area, so it starts playing when I open the Home page. But when I change pages it starts playing over again. Can it be set to play automatic only when I open the Home page?

You need to use a php code to test if you are on homepage and initialize the player with autoPlay true and if you are not on homepage initialize the player with autoPlay false
You can use, for example, is_front_page() function

If I put two instances of the player on the page, is there a simple way to have them be two different widths? I don’t need to change the button sizes on the two player instances, just changing the width of the background would be acceptable.

The script will automatically calculate the width & height of the audio player depending on the elements you’ll show or hide.
If you need a bigger/smaller audio player you’ll have to change the buttons images and also modify in the css file the width & height for the buttons you’ll change

Hi, I have bought the player, it looks good, but I have a question here. I needed this player for playing different mp3 files on the same page. It should look like many identical pleayers on one page but each of them should play a stated mp3 file (for your understanding – it should be a foreign language pronunciation training, so I write the text end ask to listen the audiofile after that). So, can I do it like that? Or it just plays all files included in playlist from top to bottom? Or in this case I need to create many players with it own playlists (which contain only one file)? Or I can do nothing?

It means that I should create as many players as I need to play all mp3s I have – for instance, I need 15 players for 15 mp3s just for one page. It’s quite uncomfortable. It will be better If I could make just one player and play mp3s just choosing their IDs or changing the mp3 url in its short code, for example. I understand that I have a specific issue, but may be someday you wish to make an update

The audio player can be used as an audio player without playlist and with playlist. In your case you want to use it without playlist for many mp3 files… so there’s no other solution.
If you’ll use it with playlist you can create only one audio player, but as I understand this is not the case for your website layout.

Sorry for disturbing you again, I have already understood that in my case I can’t use your player properly. But I want to say one thing. I already have a free audio player – it has only one appearance without any controls, just a play button (I didn’t like it and thats why I purchased yours). But it works in the following way – I add its shortcode and put an mp3 url inside it (like you change the player ID in the player shortcode). No playlists, just mp3s from media library. It is very simple, convenient and I can use as many mp3s on one page as I need. I thought in your player also will have something like [lbg_audio1_html5 settings_id=’1’ fileurl=”URL OF THE MP3 FILE”] and the player will play just the file from url. Hope you understood what I’m trying to explain. And sorry again. It is just a misunderstanding from my side.
I just picked this up and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and I just cant get this to show up on the left-side menu in the admin console of wordpress (like it shows in the tutorial on YouTube).
It installs, but never shows in the side menu – so I can’t ever select anything. Any recommendations?

a better question is how do I get the timer to liine up with the buttons on the first line of buttons ,.....the timer it puts itself below the button and to the left..if I can get the timer to remain with lined with the buttons then I will get the width I need, other wise its looks to small and with padding it looks crazy weird ..big black box padding around it

So basically instead of having the playlist as a widget, is it possible to have it like a floating bottom bar (like the plugin I linked to)? This way users can add/remove/etc tracks on ANY page and the playlist is still saved from the previous session.

I just bought this audio player. I’m working on a single page site (theme: Rhino) in which I would like to ad some background music. I don’t want to ad the player into a post or page. I would like it on the bottom or top of the page, like in the header or footer. Is there a way (code) to ad the player to the footer.php or header.php file manually?

I don’t understand why such a quality product, specially you guys who are known for [ user centered ] components, would pass at solving a problem that is more likely to happen then not happen…..........I am referring to a user being left alone to figure out which of the [ X ] amounts of players instances that may be on the same page ( did he click last ) because as he clicks a second play button now 2 audio sounds are being played, you just ruined the user experience, right there and then….........the user has to find the audio that is playing which might be why up in the beginning, so now he has to scroll all the way to the top figure out which player was the one he clicked, then scroll back to where he was further down below…. to restart this experience of being on my site…....I have seen your videos and your talks and the care and thought you put into your products, I just don’t know why you would let this one go by…..THERE IS NO WAY TO RECOVER A USER IF HE FALLS UNDER THESE SETTINGS WHICH ARE PRACTICALLY GUARANTEED…...THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESS BECAUSE YOUR BRANDS STANDARDS ARE HIGHER I KNOW THEY ARE…several clients have handed me work which included components by LambertGroup and the craftsmanship has been top notch …..no user should be put through this experience.( please for the sake of making the web a better place) make a player stop playing when another player button is clicked …its only right….imagine this problem came native on an Iphone, the phone would suck, you know and I know…............LambertGroup makes amazing products without a doubt, so I hope this will be addressed

Since 2007, when the first Iphone was launched, HTML5 technology has become very popular. All browsers support HTML5 and also IOS and Android operating systems. The only browsers without HTML5 support are IE versions below version 8, which are quite obsolete. For almost 2 years, IE9 is available and the last version is IE10

I work for a TV station that has over 150,000 unique visitors a day (about 1/3rd the population of our area) and unfortunately in the “real-world” about 25% of users are still using pre-HTML5 browsers. I can’t ignore 25% of my visitors, otherwise I’d love to buy your plugin. While I wouldn’t bother with a flash player fallback, I would consider a JavaScript player fallback for older browsers.
