Hi,

I’m trying to load the script when I have opened an Ajax file that contain the 360..

But at the moment, the preload stay on for an infinite time.. Is there anyway I could execute the function when my document is loaded?

Hi, you have the option of disabling the preloader if that can solve your issue – take a look at the documentation please. For any other concerns/questions get in touch with me via my profile’s contact form. Thank you.

can you do this around an object like a car ?

Sorry but the link changed to this to see current implementation : http://www.naina.co/test/Royal-Salute-Maharaja-of-Jodhpur-Diamond-Jubilee-Cup-Polo-Naina.co-Luxury-Lifestyle-Photographer.html The screenshot link remains the same.

Thank you, I responded in the previous comment – there are some limitations for iOS devices. A solution would be to display the full image for desktop browsers and create a mobile version to fallback to.

Hey dude! Love the plugin – wanted to use it to display my portfolio. See page here : http://www.naina.co/test/caroufredsel-integration.html It looks great on everything except the iPad and the iPhone where it just does not show up. See this screenshot for what shows : http://www.naina.co/test/photo.png I’ve seen a couple of people have asked the same thing in the comments earlier – was a solution found?

I’ve tried everything from using a low resolution photo, smaller photo, etc. Nothing shows. What gives? Pleas help! Thanks! Naina

Well I need a solution to the problem – developer or otherwise and so far you’ve only stated that you can do nothing about it :/ I’m sure there’s some sort of work around for this case. I don’t own an iPad / iPhone but many people visiting my website will be viewing it on those devices. [ Not sure if this helps but the image, on it’s own loads fine on both iPhone & iPad – http://naina.co/test/images/Royal-Salute-Maharaja-of-Jodhpur-Diamond-Jubilee-Cup-Polo-Naina.co-Luxury-Lifestyle-Photographer.jpg ] I read the article and I can see that a 5MB image should load on a 512 RAM device – my image is less than 5 MB and the device has 512 RAM. Thanks Liviu.

I understand, try my recommended solution – reduce the size of the source image and test it again on an actual iOS device. The image accessed directly might load fine, but when it’s included in a HTML page that is when the problem occurs. Another solution might be to avoid initial preload by setting the use_preloader option to false:

$('.panorama-view').panorama360({use_preloader: false});
Please get in touch with me via my profile contact form and I’ll continue to offer support by email.

I tried the preloader false options – didn’t work. [ Included it in the <script> tag in the html file. ] Will get in touch on your profile contact form. Thanks Liviu.

Hi Liviu,

Impressive plugin, I have a couple of questions prior to purchase:

1) Are links supported? I.e. instead of the lightbox/fancybox opening up, clicking the hotspot would redirect user to another URL.

2) In case lightbox popup is used, will I be able to insert links and html within the lightbox content?

Thank you.

Thank you for the very quick (< 2 minutes!) answer

P.S. Please clarify, when you mention “hotspot” do you mean that this clickable area rolls as the image is rotated, or is it “fixed” on the container div?

A hotspot area moves with the image as it rotates, it’s not fixed positioned.

Excellent. Thank you for the info Liviu.

Do you have any plan to make a wordpress plugin? For input on the post.

Yes, I plan on creating a WordPress version for this JavaScript plugin – I still don’t have an exact timeline, but sometimes in the next months.

Please make it accelerometer/gyroscope compatible…and wordpress plugin :)

Thank you for the feedback, I’ll take your suggestions into consideration for future versions.

I am using the version with Fancybox-integration. When the Fancybox image pops up, how can I have the opacity of its surrounding area reduced so that the scrolling panorama is still visible in the background? Thanks.

Hi, for fancybox options please take a look at the official plugin website: http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/

Can I use the plugin only in fullscreen mode or can I use it in any rectangular space?

The plugin takes the width of container, so it can be used in a fixed dimensional box – there is a simple example for this in the purchased file.

Is is possible to have polygonal or even circular hotspots, not just rectangular?

Hi, it currently the hotspots are limited to rectangular areas. You can achieve a circular effect by applying border-radius: 100% via CSS, but that’s about it.

Hi there – Amazing plugin :)

I was curious, what is the easiest way to make an image pan only 180 degrees rather than the full 360 degree circle? Is this possible?

Thanks!

Hi, make sure you follow the examples and update to the latest Opera version because that browser is full of issues on old versions.

It appears to actually be an issue with Windows 8, not with the javascript itself.

One last question I swear :)

I’m attempting to round the corners of the viewer with border-radius, however, when I scroll within the panorama, the image changes from rounded corners to straight corners as I’m scrolling.

Which containers, viewers, etc would I need to create border radius in to prevent this from happening?

Hi, this does have nothing to do with the plugin – I suggest you read these answers: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1280339/have-border-radius-cover-inner-divs

Hi,

Great plugin. Having an issue with it though. On the iPad never gets past the preloader if it’s enabled and you never see the image either way. At first I thought the image I was using was too large so I scaled it down but still no dice.

Works great on all browsers on my pc but I really need to get it working on the iPad.

Thanks!

Hi, I’ll look into it if you can provide me a preview URL. Send me the details via the contact form in my profile and I’ll do my best to help out.

There seem to be a problem with scaling the image in safari and google chrome. Sometimes you get the original size of the image. Any further info related to this?

Hi, can you further explain your issue by sending me a preview URL I can look at? Send me a message via the contact form in my profile and I’ll do my best to help.

Hi i am running this within a section of my parallax site with full page width and using the mouse roller to scroll through the site but when scrolling over the 360° Panoramic Viewer the mouse scroll is disabled. Is there a way i can un-disable this? Thanks

Joe

Hi, you can omit to include the jquery.mousewheel.min.js. This will disable the mouse scroll of the panorama.

Hi,

How difficult would it be to implement a zoom into this?

Thanks

Hi, thank you for your interest but a zoom feature is not something I will implement on this plugin, sorry.

Hi,

I am relatively skilled with java-script. So I’m hoping it wouldn’t be too difficult to implement myself.

Since you built the plugin I was simply wondering how difficult it would be.

I think it’s pretty difficult, but you can give it a try.

Hi, this is a really good viewer thanks! Is it possible to “lock” the position of the viewer, so that it doesn’t move when resizing the browser, since I need to be place inside a table cell for more control, is that possible?

Thanks.

Hi, this is not possible with the current version sorry.

:( do you have an estimate on when it will be possible?

I don’t know exactly, please send me a message via the contact form in my profile so we can discuss this further over by email. Thank you.

Hi, does this support only left and right panning or can you also pan up and down.

I am looking for a replacement to a flash plugin I used called pano2vr which allows full rotation in any direction as though you were moving your head in a real environment.

Thanks

Hi, this plugin supports only left and right movement.

Thank you for this plugin, it works like charm, I only have one issue: when mapping/ adding hrefs area target_blank wont work. even window.open wont open link in new tab, do you have any idea how to fix this? thank you in advance

Hi, please get back to me with a message via my contact form on my profile page and I’ll help you customize the script with your requested feature. Thank you.

Where the hell do i click to give you five stars?

Hey, rating id available in the Author Dashboard in the Downloads tab, thanks!
