Hello. In update. Please include a way for us to delete logo so that we can go back to Text instead of a logo.
My logo is not showing well on “Dark Mode”... I would rather remove it.
Also, I want to change the Moon and Sun icons. Where do I make those changes?

for the moon and sun icons, these are grabbed from the assets/js/blog.js, look for this line if (icon) icon.textContent = theme === ‘dark’ ? ’\uD83C\uDF19’ : ’\u2600\uFE0F’; IF you need help changing them, send me an email via the form on my profile.

This will be awesome & I will definitely recommend to my clients once. I really like the original one

The current theme is way better, and not to mention you can use your own theme easily. You are not limited to any.
If you think the new theme is so good, why don’t you update your main product pictures with the new theme rather than continue to keep the old theme photos? I think you already understand that new theme will not sell as well as the old theme did

Problem solved, I modified the PHP server configuration from PHP v8.5 to v8.2
Problem 404 : slug = “création-d-un-système-de-tags-1”, accentuated character problem
I’ve identified the cause of the 404 error related to the slug “creation-d-un-système-de-tags-1”.
The problem stemmed from accented characters not being converted correctly.
I resolved it by modifying the `slugify()` function to remove accents before generating the slug. Everything now works correctly.

Regarding the template, you are absolutely free to use a different one if you prefer. The system is flexible and allows you to integrate any template you like without difficulty. If needed, I can also guide you through the process.
I think you should test in different browsers and see. Notice the double vertical scroll on the right pane, display of author’s name jumbled up with other article properties, etc… (on Chrome browser)

The default Bootstrap theme of the first PolyBlogging Script was so much better. I remember it was green and black with really nice icons. Why not just use that?

These features were intentionally left out of the initial release to keep the first version lightweight and focused on core functionality and stability. However, both social sharing buttons and clickable tags linking to tag archive pages, are already planned and will be implemented in the upcoming version.

Yes, this has been fully addressed.
All posts now use SEO-friendly URL slugs. Instead of: /post.php?id=5479835
The system now generates and uses clean URLs like: /post-title-$id
Each slug is automatically generated from the post title, sanitized, and guaranteed to be unique.
It is possible to set it to ”/id/post-title”? I think this is more SEO friendly
Search engines does not prefer one format just because of the ID placement.
in practice the better option is example.com/postname-(id) or even example.com/postname (cleanest possible).
I see that your demo is “example.com/post/post-title” (no ID, and I prefer without ID). But what happens if 2 posts have the same title? I hope it cannot be submitted at the entry form level

It is not possible, It is a blogging software, not to create pages. You can still edit the home template within your template files and do the changes you want.
To sort your menu items, Create a new column in your database within the category table, name it as ‘position’. Set the numbers from 1 and higher have a look at the functions.php file within the includes folder and set the menu function to sort the categories by position. You can drop us a ticket and we will help you with the menu sorting
