Hi Team

We’ve added the two APIs as recommended in the documentation. The stores have also been created on the backend, and we can see the map loading correctly. However, no stores are appearing on the frontend. Could you please assist?

Here is our dev link – https://kerry.wowittisa.com/distributors/

Hi, you need to reinstall the plugin, the files that are within the plugin are 404 in the give URL, example:

Thank you

Hi, do you have any tutorials on customizing your themes? We would like to use one of yours, but save it as our own and customize some details?

Hi, templates are built with HTML/CSS, so if you can modify that, we have pointed out the file and sections that you can modify to customize them.

Hi. Overnight my Store Locator has reverted to the free version, despite me having a pro license. I am trying to reinstall the pro version by uploading the zip file via cPanel and extracting it, but it’s not working. Any suggestions? Many thanks

Hi, the plugin can’t revert from pro version to lite version itself, both have different source of origin, you can upgrade from free to pro by following it.

Hi, How can we maintain the “Current Location” after we key in to search another location inside the search field. To make it correct calculate base on the user “Current Location” distance(km) for the location search result? Thanks

Hi,

The “Current Location” and the searched location are treated as two different location points.

When the user searches for another location in the search field, the locator recalculates the distance based on the searched location, not the original current location. This is the default behavior because the search location becomes the new reference point for sorting and distance calculation.

When Geolocation is performed, that is the point of origin and the distance and sorting is calculated by that location.

Thank you

Hi, thanks for the reply. How is the setting to make the distance calculation base on the original current location and not searched location? Thanks again

When you will click on the geolocation button (current location), https://imgur.com/5p0qkdQ, the distance will be calculated based on your current location and not the searched location.

You can explore more options related to it in this guide article.

Hej there, is there any opportunity to customize the ASL-search? I mean, we have “categories” as a dropdown, but it would be great to change it into radio-buttons with a default choice. And another thing is, that we would like to priorize the categories by default (not in standard-alphabetical order) ... how is this possible? It seems that the priorisation by numbers is not working with the search-options ;(

Hi,

In the search widget, categories are currently displayed as a select/dropdown field. It can also work as a single-select field, which gives the same behavior as radio buttons, as only one category can be selected at a time.

If you specifically want the category filter converted into radio buttons, we can provide that through our customization service. Please share your website URL with us at support@agilelogix.com so we can review it.

For category prioritization/sorting, this is possible through the shortcode attribute. You may have missed this option in the documentation:

https://agilestorelocator.com/wiki/sort-store-attribute/#h-how-to-sort-the-dropdowns-list

Thank you

This helped us! Thanks for the clue …

Hello Agile Store Locator Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently using the Agile Store Locator plugin on a WordPress website for a beauty salon business based in the USA. The business has more than 145+ branches, and we purchased your plugin from ThemeForest to display all branch locations on the website.

I have already completed the following setup steps:

Installed and activated the plugin successfully Added all our branch locations manually Added and configured the Google Maps API key Deleted all default/demo locations from the plugin Verified that the new locations are saved properly

However, we are facing an issue where:

The Google Map is not displaying on the frontend The newly added store locations are also not appearing Only a blank section is showing instead of the map and stores

We would appreciate your support in resolving this issue.

Please let us know:

If there are any additional Google API settings required Whether there could be a conflict with the current theme or another plugin Which settings we should verify to make the map and locations display properly

If needed, I can also provide:

Website URL WordPress admin access Screenshots/video of the issue Console errors from browser inspect mode

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you.

Hi, thank you for purchasing our plugin, can you please create a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com with the site details (page where you have added the shortcode) so we can look into it.

Hi Team,

We are using the Agile Store Locator plugin on our WordPress site. it show the following error while submitting the API Keys and Saving the Chagnes.

“Invalid custom map style. Please provide a valid JSON array.” please look into it and solve where to provide valid JSON array

Hi, it will only happen when the map style has invalid JSON, you can either remove it or make sure that the JSON is valid.

hello,

The store locator content populates on https://staging25.fyshuk.com/ in the Brave browser, but not in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Nor does it populate on Brave, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari Mobile browsers, but does populate the Edge mobile browser.

What could cause this behaviour? What settings need to be changed?

The plugin was working fine with no problems until we noticed this a few days ago.

Roelof Kiers

Hi, we just tested your plugin, it works fine for us in Chrome, the Complianz plugin will disable the dependency library Google Maps until you accept it, please watch this screencast, it’s been recorded with Chrome.

Hello,

The website links (or “View Location”) buttons are not linking to their correct page. Under Managed Stores, each store I have linked to their own internal page on this site. Every location’s link on the locations panel is linked wrong and sending me to my 404 page. I’ve cleared my site’s cache. Am I missing something? Thank you.

Hi, please create a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com with the Store Locator URL so we can help with it.

Thank you

Hi Team,

We are using the Agile Store Locator plugin on our WordPress site, which is hosted on AWS with Redis caching enabled.

Since this morning, the site has become unstable. Several URLs are redirecting to incorrect paths and displaying store locator data instead of the actual page content. We are also using the Divi Builder on the site.

Could you please investigate this issue on priority and help us identify the root cause?

Please let us know if any additional information is required from our side.

Now the site is working perfectly Additionally, we would appreciate your guidance on what steps can be taken to prevent this issue from occurring in the future.

Hi, yes our support is limited to our plugin only, please note a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com along with the store locator URL, we notice that your support license was expired in 2024 so you need to renew that.

Thank you

Hello,

I would like to test your plugin on a staging environment before making a purchase. In this process, I would like to know if it is possible to use the license on my test site and then transfer it to the live website later.

Additionally, I need some assistance regarding translations. I edited the language files using Poedit; however, some strings are not included in these files and therefore cannot be translated. For example, I could not find the following texts in the translation files:

-Find Nearby Service Providers -Number Of Shops: 34

Could you please advise where and how these parts can be translated?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Hi,

Yes, you would need to purchase the plugin first in order to install and test it on your staging site. Once purchased, you can use the same license on staging and later move it to the live site.

For translations, You can change them from the Labels section in the plugin, or use the Loco Translate plugin.

Guide: https://agilestorelocator.com/wiki/language-translation-store-locator/

For more, please create a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com

Thank you!

Thank you for your clear explanation and guidance.

I appreciate your help regarding both the licensing and translation options. I will review the Labels section and the documentation you shared.

Thanks again for your support.

Hi there. I love your ASL plugin. One thing: I am seeing this error in the Google Chrome DevTools Console:

Uncaught (in promise) InvalidValueError: asl_init_callback is not a function js?libraries=places,drawing&key=API_KEY&callback=asl_init_callback:1297

I followed instructions here and made sure that ASL > General > Remove Other Maps Scripts is enabled.

https://agilestorelocator.com/wiki/troubleshooting-multiple-inclusions-of-google-maps-javascript-api/

Can you help with this error?

Thank you!

Hello,

recently i get this Line added to my exported Stores: Deprecated: fputcsv(): the $escape parameter must be provided as its default value will change in /var/www/vhosts/wohn-profis.de/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/agile-store-locator/includes/admin/csv/reader.php on line 629

What can I do to fix that?

kind regards

Hi, thank you for reaching out.

It looks like your debug mode is enabled, which is why this deprecation message is being shown. Otherwise, this notice would not appear.

Please note that this does not affect the CSV export functionality—your export should still work correctly.

This warning started appearing with PHP 8.4, and we will address it in an upcoming plugin update.

Kind regards.

I am using this plugin and seems it keep on and off. I need to vaildate my purchase everytime. it work ten minutes, then it off again. Any solution?

Hi, thank you for reaching out.

This issue usually happens when your server fails to maintain a connection with our validation service, which causes the purchase code to deactivate intermittently.

Since this was posted on a public page, please create a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com

Thank you!

Hi, we have 3 ASL licenses. Some URLs have cnanged. I will send an email to you serparately

Hello, I am listing locations for my website and would like to have 2 side by side buttons (like in the templates that show “directions” and “website”) but I want both to be links. Is it possible to add 2 links? I’ve been trying with no luck.

Thank you!

Actually, I’ve figured this out! but I have a new problem, I want to hide the category tags from showing up on the LHS where the locations are listed, I just want to be able to filter with categories and have the correct ones pop up without adding extra clutter to the locator. Can you help with this?

Hi, here are the answers to your questions.

but I want both to be links. Is it possible to add 2 links? # Yes, you can add multiple CTA buttons, you can follow this guideline for it. https://agilestorelocator.com/wiki/customization-of-store-locator/ I want to hide the category tags from showing up on the LHS where the locations are listed, # Do you want to hide the Categories tags, yes you can easily do it by just removing them from the ASL Settings > Customizer, can you please follow the above link to know how to use the Customizer, if you have problem with it, you can create a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com

Message from my client:

We had a distributor reach out asking if they could be used as the default for the province of Ontario in the dealer locator. We’re open to this, but wanted to see if it’s possible to set them as the default for Ontario when there are no dealers within the 200-mile radius.

Correct, only for Ontario, CA, though. Everywhere else, we would still be the default. I’ve never been asked this question and know whether it was possible.

if we have you set to a default if no one is found within 200.. then no. I dont think so.

I dont think it can go both ways. Id have to reach out to the developers of the plugin to see if there is a special script to add.

Hi, do you mean to add a fallback store when there are no store within the region, we do have fallback store option but that is global and not for specific area such as Ontario, please create a support ticket by emailing us at support@agilelogix.com we can help through our customization service.

Thank you

Dear Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am currently using Agile Store Locator, and I would like to ask whether the application supports a multilingual setup.

Specifically:

Can the Store Locator display content in multiple languages depending on the user’s locale or language selection?

Is there a built-in language switcher available on the frontend?

Does it support translation of store details, filters, labels, and interface elements?

Is it possible to add custom translations if needed?

I would appreciate it if you could provide some clarification on this and possibly share any relevant documentation.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Hi, thank you for using our plugin.

You can change any text via Labels, please make sure to enable the Labels switch in the Labels section.

Translation Guide https://agilestorelocator.com/wiki/language-translation-store-locator/

For the Stores and the Categories data itself, you have to feed that into the languages you want it to translate.
