How can I change the text on the “Reconsider icon”? I would like to have it in German. I mean the icon that appears after the cookie window when you have made a selection and want to change it later.

Yes you can translate these texts with our included wpca.pot file, see this instruction.

I am currently using your plugin WeePie Cookie Allow (on 3 websites) and I need some info regarding the categorization of the Facebook Pixel.
Currently, the Facebook Pixel script is being categorized under ‘Statistics’. However, I believe it is more correct to classify it under the ‘Marketing’ category.
How can I move the Facebook Pixel to the Marketing category? I didn’t find anything in the documentation (The only quick fix I could think of is to reverse the category name to “display name”)
Do I need to perform this change manually (e.g., via code, hooks, or dashboard settings), or is it something that should be handled automatically by the plugin?

I have the following questions: - Consent Mode: How is Google Consent Mode integrated and what is technically blocked before the user agrees? - Consent storage: Where is consent stored? Locally or on external servers? According to the new law, no data may be stored externally, only locally on the website. Except: - AV contract: Is an AV contract provided if consent logs are stored externally? - Types of consent: Which categories (marketing, statistics, required) are supported? - Revocation: How can the user revoke their consent later?
Or do you know of other EU GDPR standards where this is not necessary? Is your plugin regularly updated to comply with the latest GDPR guidelines?

Issue in latest update: php 8.1 is required but website doesn’t support php 8 because of older template. Please keep php 7.4 compatibility or at least provide the last version available. Thank you

hi, I uploaded this and am trying to use it, some issues – only the bar works for some reason, when I try to set it as box it does not appear. Main issues is the text in the bar – it does not give a link for the cookie page – where can I add this? at the moment the text states – “Please see our page for further details or agree by clicking the ‘Accept’ button.” – but there is no link or text there for the ‘our page’ that the user has been directed to see.

Hi i have a website that show problems after last update (3.4.8) The banner is not shown on startup and it is not possible to scroll the page. Everything works if I disable the banner. I use the Divi theme and the Wp Rocket Cache plugin. Is it possible that they are conflicts?

I would like to enhance the transparency of cookie usage for my visitors. Specifically, I’m looking to display a detailed list of cookies within the consent pop-up, showing exactly which cookies fall under each category (Functional, Analytical, Social media, Other).
I would like to know if there’s a built-in option or a recommended method to achieve this using your plugin. If such a feature doesn’t exist, could you please advise on the best way to implement this, perhaps through a filter or action hook?
Ideally, I’d like to display: 1. The name of each cookie 2. Its purpose/category 3. The specific cookie identifiers
This information should be visible to users when they interact with the consent pop-up, allowing them to make a more informed decision about which types of cookies to accept.

What you sent me does not quite match the product you are selling. However, if the extended license allows me to use the product on as many devices as I want, then that is something else entirely. So, can I use the plugin on as many devices as I want or not?

The licenses is something Envato handles when you buy our product and is totally out of our hands.
The Extended license does NOT allow you to use our product on as many websites as you want. This is something Envato does NOT offer (unfortunately).
We asked Envato many times to allow us to give clients something like bulk discount, but they just don’t implement it.

There’s no support at all. I have a probable bug on the website. When closing the cookie consent window, if the user brings it back by clicking on the cookie icon and closes it without making any changes, the target page stops scrolling (it becomes unviewable). This issue was reported to the author a month ago, but there’s been no response whatsoever.

Apologies for the late reply! I will do my best to answer your questions:
If i install your plugin it will handle the consent given, right? Yes, our plugin handles the consent with a bar or box. You can configure it yourself to your custom needs.
But after that it does not handle which tracking scripts are activated or not? I am not sure what you mean with that, but our plugin has a built in list of 3rd parties (can be scripts, iFrames, pixel images etc.) which will be blocked if you configure it so
I am using sweetcode pixel manager premium for all tracking scripts. Am I missing something? We are not familiar with this plugin, but we can certainly help you with integrating a custom 3rd party integration for this plugin.

I will do my best to clarify more:
if a customer decline all extra cookies. your plugin blocks those, like for instance google ads remarketing, right? True, Google Adwords remarketing is one of the default 3rd parties our Plugin blocks in your page source.
But all webshops use google tag manager or pixel manager or other to handle these scripts, so i do not understand what your plugin blocks? For GTM our plugin sends custom events and variables which can be used to conditionally fire tags. We recently even implemented Google Consent Mode v2.
how can your plugin block things if they are not handled by your plugin?
We have a system to add custom integrations. And if we receive a 3rd party request often (you can send us a New 3rd party request from the Plugin settings page), we will for sure add it to our 3rd parties list. We do our best to support the most common 3rd parties

Our instruction guide is indeed only for basic questions. There is no other documentation page. But we have a lot of information inline at most of the settings. (See the (i) icons)
However, we agree that the docs can be optimized, thanks for your feedback on this point.
[wpca_cc_settings_box] Shows the Cookie Category settings box. For example if you want to show a settings box on your Cookie / Privacy page.
[wpca_cc_settings_options] It’s more for internal use. It renders the checkboxes (switches) with the cookie categories. Therefor it is not listed in the Shortcodes section on the Content settings tab. But good point. We will try to clarify it more.
