There’s no built-in way to set default avatar currently as it’s generated automatically based on user name or email.

BeMusic does not have any special requirements for hosting, so any provider should be able to handle that many users without issues.
We don’t offer full installation services currently, but if you encounter any issues when following installation guide, you can create a new ticket on our support site and we’ll be happy to assist.
I’m very interested in buying it, but while browsing the demo I noticed that when I download the music, the MP3 file doesn’t save locally in the downloads folder. Will there be a future update with this feature?

The offline functionality downloads the music into a special folder in the browser’s cache, this will not visible to users, similar to how it works on native mobile apps.
If you want regular downloads you can enable this from “admin > settings > player > interface” page, that will download the actual .mp3 file to users device.
Is there a way on the phone so that when you play a new song, it doesn’t automatically open the video but stays minimized instead? If you’re clicking through albums and a video pops up after every track and you have to swipe it away each time, that’s a bit annoying. It would be cool if that were possible!
Oh, and it would be great if genres were used more in the future, since hardly any artists, albums, or tracks are tagged with them at the moment. I like searching for songs by genre, but unfortunately I can barely find any here

You can disable “auto-open overlay on mobile” option in “admin > settings > player > interface” page, that might causes issues with auto play on youtube embeds on some mobile browsers though.

I think this latest version is a sneaky way to have people renew their support subscriptions! So many bugs and errors!
In my case, The newest version is stuck on the ‘Enter credentials for the super admin account’ screen and won’t go any further.
I would like to suggest an idea to add in the next update.
Just as it is possible to share and embed both albums and individual tracks on other websites using the “share” option, it would also be interesting to be able to embed playlists on other websites, either any playlist or at least public playlists.

Try to update to latest version, that should fix it. If new version is not showing in “admin > settings > system > update” page, click “re-install current version” button instead.

Wav files are supported. If you are not able to upload them, can you try leaving “Allowed file types” field empty and see if it works then?

1. The custom theme colors aren’t working, and the black background of the dark theme isn’t changing either.

It will only overlap when browser window is too small (less then 1280px), if there’s enough space it will appear side-by-side, like in your last screenshot.
I would like the overlay to only happen for resolutions smaller than 800px. How do I do that?
