Hello,
We are considering your plugin for a pre-sale evaluation.
Our site uses WPML with “Different domain per language” (e.g. .com for English and .de for German).
Before purchasing, could you please confirm whether your plugin supports WPML multi-domain language setups and correctly redirects visitors to the appropriate language domain based on IP country?
Thank you.
Yes- confirmed
I keep getting the message “this isn’t a valid purchase code” – how do I fix this??
hello, if you just purchased try 3-4-5 times and it’ll work – if not get in touch via support
Is it possible a add for example the Greek country to appears the greek language and other countries in English language ? Do you have that option or I have to add one by one the country ?
yes, just do the reverse – set english as default language and only redirect greek – this way you can achieve what you need with a single rule
Hi there,
Our developer has been testing it in our staging environment. However, when moving to the production environment, we are unable to use the same license. Could you please advise us on how to properly deactivate the license in the staging environment?
Hi, is there a way for the auto redirection to only take effect in the homepage and not the inner pages?
Hi, pre-sale question. I used WPML to add regions on a website, instead of specific languages (for example Asia, Europe, Latin America, US, etc)
Can I use this plugin to make a pool of countries and redirect them to a region?
Hi, country by country only
Hi there, I have 2 pre sale questions:
1) We want to make Google ads in English and when user will open English version link and for example, if this user is from France, is it possible to tell via Popup that this page available also in French and then user will decide wants or not to open that link.
2) is it possible to redirect in French (if user based in France) without a popup/asking permission? Thanks
Hello,
1) Yes you can show a popup
2) Yes you can directly redirect him without asking/popup
However, you can’t do both in the same time, you can set it to either ask / show popup OR redirect
Thanks
Does your plugin change the currency depending of ip country with wpml?
It changes language- I don’t know about currency
Do you still provide support?
They never say that is an Add-On, I can’t use it, because I need other plugin. Also, I try to activate with Item Purchase Code and I get this message: Sorry, This is not a valid purchase code. SCAM!
Excuse me. Pre purchase question. 1. Can this plugin call the popup short-code for any configuration buttons with Elementor Builder? 2. Can It redirect to any URL with different domain?
Hello, 1. No 2. No, this only redirects to the configured url of the other language (in WPML itself). If you need to redirect to another URL /custom URL check my WP GeoIP redirect plugin (but it doesn’t have popup)
Pre sale question: Just asking if do this, redirect to a specific page based on IP location, webiste is a simple WP installation with english only, content need to change based on IP so there is a page for each country (main)
Yes its possible with my other plugin -> https://codecanyon.net/item/wp-geoip-country-redirect/3589163
Hi, last week I activated this plugin. Our base language is Dutch. English users are redirected to the /en/ version. A few days later I googled us and our Dutch SEO ranking had collapsed. Apparently, Google was only indexing the English version and not the Dutch one anymore. I immediately deactivated the plug-in and had Google re-index everything. Is there a way to prevent the plugin from automatically redirecting Google to the English version?
Hello, sure. Just released v2.2 a few mins ago which will address exactly that
Thanks, just downloaded it, but i’m not sure if this is correct. “Version: 2.0” says wpml-auto-detect-and-redirect-by-ip.php
It should say v2.2 in that file. instead of “download wordpress plugin” select “download all files and documentation” from codecanyon
Okay, updating to 2.2 was successful. When i downloaded the ‘Installable WordPress file only’ it was version 2.0. After that i tried download ‘All Files & Documentation’ and that one did include version 2.2.
Anyhow it doesn’t seem to be working yet. When I have my page URL inspected with Google console, the English version is still being tested instead of the Dutch one. It looks like Google is still automatically being redirected to the English version (/en).
well google console uses a real browser, you must instead switch user agent to google/googlebot/etc. there are chrome extensions for switching user-agents. if you need more on this matter, make sure to contact support instead – https://codecanyon.net/item/wpml-redirect-based-on-ip-country/18074869/support
Prior to purchase, Can this plugin redirect the visitor through the pop-up window according to the country?
Yes you can either set a popup or direct redirection. No caching plugins just fyi in case you didn’t see the notice
Presale question: On WPML’s site it is stated that your plugin does not work if caching plugin is activated on the site. Is it universally impossible to make it work with a caching plugin or is it a question of some specific settings that must be turned on/off? I am asking as we use caching, also for logged in users to resolve speed issues. So it cannot be a simple decision to turn caching off altogether.
Hello, then this is not for you. It won’t work with caching. The explanation is on the item page. Thanks
Ok. I saw otherwise that WP-Optimize premium (the premium version only) advertizes that they are compatible with geo location and multi-language and multi-currency. Are you familiar with it and are you certain it won’t work?
I am 100% certain that no caching plugin works with my geoip at the moment.
Hi there, I have sent an email to reset my license. Do check at your convenience. Thank you!
Will it work for multisite without WPML plugin ? We have multiple woocommerce store on same multisite domain.
Not without WPML.
Is there a way to select all countries instead of picking one by one? It’s very time consuming. I want all countries to redirect to English except one. It’s really time consuming and annoying to not be able to select multiple countries from the list
can’t see your purchase
Does it really matter in this case? I’m stating an obvious lack of feature. I’m setting up a website for a client who bought this plugin.
Yes it matters, you’re stating without knowing the reality. Tell your client to contact me and I’ll guide him onto it
What do you mean “without knowing a reality”? Your plugin doesn’t offer that in it’s options. It’s very basic and lacking functionality, for it’s price. Also, that’s just a very unprofessional answer.
It is offering that, only for actual customers that are paying not inventing that they’re using it for a customer using the plugin from god knows where which is lacking as you say. If your client has an actual licence, tell him to contact me and he’ll get better treatment – you’re not a customer and come here complaining for something non existent and want good treatment.
Pre sale..which WordPress page builder it will be compatible??
Hello, it doesn’t matter as it doesn’t interact with page builders at all
