1. You can add domains later, as needed
2. This feature is planned to be added around November 2025 (Google Sheets live data source). For now, you can export Google Sheets / Excel as CSV and import the data manually to MapSVG

Bug Report – MapSVG Plugin Not Working in Safari (404 Error)
I’m encountering an issue with the MapSVG plugin when trying to load it in Safari. The plugin works as expected in other browsers (such as Chrome and Firefox), but fails to load in Safari.
Issue Details: Browser: Safari (13.1.2 version)
Error Message (from Safari Console): Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
Observed Behavior: The map fails to load, and a 404 error appears in the console.

A Client has an older version of the plugin which they never updated. Is there a way to export the settings from the older version to be used with the updated version of the plugin?
Hi, it depends on what version number they have: if it’s at least 4.x then you can provide us access to their Wordpress and we will make sure everything is updated correctly. If they have version 5.x or older – there’s nothing to worry about, there’s a migration script that will automatically update the map settings.
Apparently they have a very old version from a previous developer which the plugin is still at 1.5.5. What are the options there? Suck it up and recreate ether maps by hand in the new version of the plugin?

I’m looking for a WordPress mapping solution that would enable me to create maps that show franchise areas defined by multiple UK postcodes.
The result would be a shaded overlay highlighting the combined area of all the postcodes, I guess using polygon boundaries?

Hi, mapsvg can’t automatically assign post codes to map areas; if you do it yourself (enter a postcode for each map area manually) then mapsvg will be able to search and filter through them. If you have more questions please use the chat app on the website mapsvg.com

Hi there! I submitted a ticket in your chat support about a week ago, but no one ever responded. I keep trying to use the map plugin, but the map options keep disappearing. All I get is a white screen when I click on the options (Settings, Colors, Regions, etc). I already recreated the map once and I don’t want to do it again. I also purchased a pro license and when I enter it it doesn’t do anything. I still can’t access pro features. Can you please assist?
