The system is currently built on a highly optimized version of CodeIgniter 3, which is fully compatible with PHP versions 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. We chose to stick with this architecture because it is extremely lightweight, fast, and much easier for customers to customize and host on any shared server compared to newer frameworks.

Moving to CI4 requires a complete rewrite of the core, so while we may consider it for a future major version (V2), it is not in our immediate roadmap. Rest assured, the current version is secure, stable, and regularly updated.

For example there was no unsubscribe link in English email templates either.

1. Vendor Accounts Structure:
The system operates as a unified marketplace (similar to Amazon). Vendors register on the main platform and manage their products within their dashboard. While they have a dedicated “Vendor Store” page (e.g., yoursite.com/store/vendor-slug), they do not get a separate isolated tenant environment (like a completely separate domain with its own database and billing system). They are part of your main ecosystem.

2. Vendor Store Customization:
Vendors have a dedicated storefront page where their specific products are listed. They can customize basic details like their store name, slug, and contact information. However, they cannot fully redesign the store’s theme or layout (like changing HTML/CSS structures) as they share the platform’s unified design. It functions more like an Amazon seller profile/storefront than a standalone Shopify store.

3. Affiliate-Only Mode:
Yes, absolutely. You can use the system purely for affiliate marketing. In this setup, affiliates simply promote links to earn commissions. They do not handle any billing, shipping, or product management—that remains entirely with the admin or the vendors. The affiliate’s role is strictly promotion and commission tracking.

I would like to share a suggestion, that the error handling logic in your script is completely wrong and due to this mistake, we have faced a lot of hassle over the last 20 days.

The main question is: for this issue, should the error message be “Invalid License Key” or “License Already Used”? It should be “License Already Used”.

I was able to identify the issue only when I directly called the API using my license key via curl and received the response: “License already used in other product.”

Otherwise, this problem would not have been resolved.

So I hope that you will change the error message logic before anyone else has to face the same trouble again.

There is no error with our item, which has been running for many years for thousands of clients. To identify the issue on your domain, you must contact the support team via the ticket system and provide everything they ask for. Since you are not interested in paying item support per the envato item support policy, and you are trying to manage it for free from here, as we already told you 20 days before, this way will not work.

Hello, I am unable to create a ticket, it has expired, but since this is a general error regarding data protection, etc., I believe you should follow up on it and adjust it anyway. Let’s put it this way, forward it and try to solve it in accordance with the GDPR, such as anonymizing names and IP addresses on the partner and vendor or user side. All of this should only be accessible to the admin without anonymization, but not to the users. This is feedback and not necessarily a support case ;)
