Hi, i enabled custome attend field, but on top of my custom attendee field, it says “Enable the Attendee Page to capture individual attendee details. Learn more →” When i click learn more, nothing happens. Can you tell simple steps to enable attendee page.

Are u guys still working on this? Is the 89$ is for the unlimited? What’s the difference buying here vs buying from your web?

1. No, but there might be some limitations. 2. You may use FooEvents on one development version of a live site. 3. Yes, we offer a Lifetime License as well.

If you would like more detailed information about any or all of these, please contact our support team directly: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support/

So let say if i create a dummy under mydomain.com/dummy under cpanel. Can i put the next one under mydomain.com?

Please contact our support team directly for more information regarding licenses for staging/development sites: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support/

What is the limit for the number of booking dates. We do tours and we have them everyday. Can we have set up booking slots for 6 months to a year in advance. Is there anyway to do that automatically instead of having to manually create bookings. Have booking slots available 6months a year in advance.

You will be able to generate dates for a period of 6 months. You can use the Booking Wizard to set a Start and End Date and then automatically generate dates in between. The End Date should be within a maximum of 6 months from the Start Date each time you create new slots. Please note that this functionality requires at least the main FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin as well as the FooEvents Bookings plugin extension, which is available from our website.

Is there a way to automated this daily. So it creates a new date 6months in the future. So We don’t have to manually create bookings dates every day or week.

You don’t have to regularly create bookings, you can set this up once. You can e.g. set it to generate bookings for each day, or for e.g. Mondays and Wednesdays only, from April 1 2026 until September 30 2026 (6 months). This will take a few seconds. You can then create bookings for October 1 until March 30 2027 (6 months), and this will take a few seconds. The booking dates are then available for your attendees to select, until March 30th 2027. Please also see our reply to your email.

Dear FooEvents Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue with the FooEvents plugin related to date parsing on our WordPress website.

After updating to the latest version of WooCommerce, our product/event pages were no longer accessible and returned a “Fatal error” message. The error in the logs indicated a problem parsing German-formatted dates, for example:

Fatal error: Uncaught DateMalformedStringException: Failed to parse time string (5. März 2026)

It appears that the plugin is unable to handle German month names and expects English-formatted dates. Temporarily, we resolved the issue by reverting to an older version of FooEvents, which restored functionality.

We would appreciate it if this could be addressed in a future update, so that the plugin properly supports localized date formats (in particular German) when parsing event dates.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

I did some tests on my website, but I couldn’t replicate the reported issue.

Could you please confirm that you’re using the latest version of FooEvents which is 1.20.24 as of this writing? https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/changelogs/fooevents-for-woocommerce

If you’re using the latest version and the issue persists for you, please contact us directly and include your Envato purchase code and Website Status Report: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support

Yes, I was using the latest version, 1.20.24. I still had an older version, 1.20.21, and uploaded that. Everything works again with that version. It only doesn’t work with the new version. The error message is: Fatal error: Uncaught DateMalformedStringException: Failed to parse time string (March 5, 2026) at position 0 (5): Unexpected character in /homepages/.../fooevents/class-fooevents.php:2584 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/.../fooevents/class-fooevents.php(2584): DateTime->__construct() #1 /homepages/.../woocommerce/templates/single-product/tabs/tabs.php(47): fooevents_display_event_tab() #2 /homepages/.../woocommerce/includes/wc-core-functions.php(346): include(‘/homepages/...’)

Please contact us directly on our website so our technical support team can better assist you. Include your Envato purchase code and Website Status Report: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support

Regarding seating, i have a row with more than 30 seats per row. Can i make a one row with more than 30 seats? How it looks like in mobile screen? Can it shown 30 seats in one row exactly as my original seating layout?

Yes, you should be able to achieve your desired layout with some additional custom code since the Seating Chart is highly customizable with CSS.

For further assistance with this, please contact our support team directly and include your FooEvents Order or Subscription number: https://help.fooevents.com/contact

Hi, I have a couple of pre-purchase questions. Could this plugin be used for a spa entrance ticket? In my case, I don’t need attendee names – just the checkout fields completed. It wouldn’t be for a specific event date; the only requirement is that the tickets can be used anytime during this year. After that, I’d like to be able to check in guests with the app.

Thank you!

Yes, it sounds like FooEvents can be fit for your use case. You can set up an “event product” without any set date. After purchase, the purchaser will get a ticket that you can scan and verify with the Check-ins app.

Please contact our support team directly if you have any other questions: https://help.fooevents.com/contact

Hi, can I import multiple attendes from excel or csv?

You can use the Import Tickets tool to import attendee tickets from a CSV file for an event. It can also be used to migrate ticket data from a third-party system into FooEvents.

Here’s some more information: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/tickets/import-tickets

Please contact our support team directly if you have any other questions. https://help.fooevents.com/contact

Hello, we used your app license, but as long as I remember there were still some lacks, one of them was that you could not search any tickets by the name (custom field) or email in mobile apps. Is there any change regarding this? Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can now search for tickets based on attendee first name, last name, customer first name, last name, ticket ID or formatted ticket ID. You can also tap an event list controls icon on the top left of the screen. The event type, sort order, categories and authors can be filtered. As soon as an option is selected, the event list will be updated. Here’s some more information: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/check-ins-app/event-filters

Please contact our support team directly if you have any other questions. https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Hello, yes we had a difficulty on searching names, because we had a custom field for the Full name. Attendee name does not work, because there were some orders which were manually added by the admin, and the system took the admin user as Attendee name. Purchaser name was also the same, it took the admin name. Thanks

Only the default attendee fields are currently supported when searching through the FooEvents Check-ins apps. If your admin needs to create tickets manually and the purchaser was the same as the admin name, you can update it at any time from the WordPress Admin Dashboard or backend and the new information should reflect on the apps upon resync.

Hi,

Pre-Purchase Question : Website Performance for Large Event Ticketing

We are planning to run a large-scale event spanning 9 days, with an expected attendance of 7 to 10 lakh people in total. We are considering enabling online ticket booking through the website.

Before purchasing, we would like to know:

If a large number of users visit the website simultaneously (especially during peak hours), how will your system handle the traffic?

Do you provide any scalability or load balancing support to ensure smooth performance?

Are there any limitations or recommendations regarding the maximum concurrent users? If need server capacity please let me know how much server capacity required for this.

Looking forward to your response.

It’s unfortunately not possible to send tickets through WhatsApp at the moment, however, you can sign-up to be notified when the feature becomes available: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/feature-notifications/?feature_fe=--%20Option%20to%20send%20tickets%20through%20WhatsApp

is it possible via sms as a link ?

Yes, sending a ticket link is possible via sms through our integration with AutomateWoo which needs to be purchased separately: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/third-party-integration/automatewoo/

Hello, I have a question. Can I use other payment methods or only paypal and stripe?

Hi giorgiana-iuluana,

If you are using FooEvents to sell tickets through your website’s front-end then FooEvents uses the normal WooCommerce checkout process. This means that you can use almost any payment gateway of your choice i.e. the same payment gateways that you can use with WooCommerce in general, including PayPal, Stripe and many others.

If you are using our FooEvents Point of Sale app to sell tickets and physical products at your event/venue then we offer direct integrations with Square and Stripe. However, you can also use any third-party card reader if you manually enter the amount to be paid.

Alternatively, it could be that you are referring to when you purchase the FooEvents plugins on our website (fooevents.com), in which case you can pay with PayPal or Stripe. There is also the option to pay with PayStack if the billing country is set to “South Africa”. Please note that this payment process is not related to how you use FooEvents on your own site and which payment gateways you use on your own setup.

If you have any other questions please contact our support team here: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Hello! Can I use this plugin to allow access to a person for a given period? For example, to buy access for one month, valid from the moment of the order, so that the QR code can be scanned for access and after the desired period expires, they no longer have access.

What other modules are needed so that the payment can be made through a desired gateway in Woocommerce and the customer receives the PDF file with the QR code and the valid period by email? Thank you!

Hi Mos-Martin, yes, it is possible to set an expiration date for a ticket on a fixed date or elapsed time after purchase. If an expired ticket is scanned then you will see a message saying that it is not valid anymore.

If you are selling tickets through your website then FooEvents uses the WooCommerce purchasing process which means that you should be able to use almost any WooCommerce payment gateway. If you are selling physical tickets in person at your event/venue to walk-ins using FooEvents POS then we offer direct integrations with Square and Stripe, but you can also use third-party card readers if you enter the amount manually.

If you would also like to send the tickets with QR codes as PDF files then you will need the FooEvents PDF Tickets plugin extension that is available to purchase from our website. This plugin also lets your customers download their tickets as PDF files from their account on your site.

Please contact our support team if you have any other questions: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Hello. I have a presale question. We have a multi day event that we host on multiple locations in our country. We have about 30 events like that in a year. Is it possible to do that with your plugin? Thanks

Hi mirt123,

If you would like to set multiple dates for a single event and check each attendee in separately on each day using the same QR code then you will also need our FooEvents Multi-day plugin extension.

If you would like attendees to choose one specific date and time slot from multiple options then you would need our FooEvents Bookings plugin extension.

These plugins both require the main plugin, and are available to purchase on our website.

Please contact our support team if you have any other questions.

Hi, after connecting the FooEvents plugin, can I easily buy tickets with qr codes that are sent to the buyer’s email and can I scan the tickets using my phone?

I need to sell tickets: purchase several tickets from different products and they are to be sent to the buyer’s email in 1 pdf with all purchased tickets.

In this case, do I need to buy any other add-ons?

Thank you for the information

Hi,

If you want event tickets to be generated and sent in PDF files, you will need the FooEvents PDF Tickets add-on or extension that you can get on our website: https://www.fooevents.com/products/fooevents-pdf-tickets

Using just the core FooEvents plugin, you can send tickets in HTML Emails, and use the free Check-ins app.

Hi,

Let’s say i create one event. Starting 1st of March and ending on 15th of March. I want different prices for each day. Is this possible?

Thanks

Hi, yes, this is possible to do in different ways, depending on your requirements. Please contact our support team directly for further assistance: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Pre sale question: Hi, I need to sell tickets online to access various activities (restaurants, sightseeing, travel, bike tours, etc.) by showing the ticket with reservation on site without it being reused by others. Is this plugin suitable and how would it work? Thank you.

Hi savinus, thank you for your interest in FooEvents. Yes, based on your description you should be able to use FooEvents. For more detailed information, please contact our support team directly and we would gladly assist, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support2/

Is it possible to create a complimentary ticket that we can give to our VIP clients as FREE? without them going to purchase it on our web. How can we do that?

Yes, you can manualy create and send tickets for free without having your clients purchase it. Here’s some more information: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/tickets/how-do-i-manually-create-tickets

Alternatively, you could have one event product and then create a variation for the normal ticket type and a variation for the free ticket type. You will need to hide the “Free ticket” variation from the front-end so that other customers won’t be able to select it. To do so, you can add some additional code to your WP theme.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Any plans to make the plugin also work with FSE themes? Want to buy the plugin for a client that is using a block theme but get the message I need to switch to de old WC checkout setup (what I don’t want).

Hi, yes, we are currently busy working on supporting the new WooCommerce Checkout block. This functionality should be available soon. FooEvents already provides event and attendee listing blocks that you can use with your site editor theme.

Hello, how many sites I can use the license?

The FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin here is only the core plugin, which can only be used by you or a client on one domain. You can find more information about using a staging or development site if you have a Single Site license here: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/installation-setup/can-i-install-fooevents-on-a-staging-site

If you would like to use the same FooEvents License on multiple sites, you would need to upgrade into Multiple Domain License (up to three separate domains) or the Unlimited Domain License (up to unlimited number of domains) on our website: https://www.fooevents.com/products/fooevents-for-woocommerce/#license-overview

Hi,

This is a presale question: Is it possible with this plugin to create one ticket for a table that includes 6 people and allow them to check in individually?

Thanks,

Yes, it is possible to set your events up as “ticket passes” like this using the FooEvents Multi-day plugin extension available on our website: https://www.fooevents.com/products/fooevents-multi-day

This plugin extension lets you set a “Number of days” for your event and then attendees can be checked in once on each of this number of days with the same ticket. These “Days” are not restricted to an actual date but can also be customized in the plugin to say e.g. “Sessions”, “Times” or “Check-ins”. In other words, attendees will be able to check in multiple times per day, or on different days during the ticket validity period, and these check-ins can be called “Person 1”, “Person 2” or “Check-in 1”, “Check-in 2” etc.

I hope this helps. For any further questions, please contact us directly, and our team will assist you further: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support

Awesome, is it possible to use the plugin and its license on a testing subdomain during website development, and then move it to the main domain once it’s finished?

Yes, you may set up FooEvents on a subdomain or test on a staging environment as long as it’s only used on one live production site at a time in the case of a single domain license.

When you are ready to go live, you simply need to update the Website URL that is linked to your license in your FooEvents Account (under License Key) and copy and paste your existing key into the FooEvents License Key field in the FooEvents plugin settings on your live production site.

Here’s some more information: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/installation-setup/can-i-install-fooevents-on-a-staging-site

Is there anyway to zoom map in more and change the icon?

Currently, the default zoom level or icon of the Google Map on the event product pages using the Google Maps integration can’t be changed from the plugin settings.

If you would like more customizations to the Google Map, you may consider using a third-party plugin or widget to display your Google Maps. Alternatively, you may copy the embed HTML code from any Google Maps page.

I hope this helps. For any further questions, please contact us directly, and our team will assist you further: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support
