Hi Team, I’m encountering an issue with the system when creating variable products. It appears that the system is not sending emails to the purchasers upon completion of their order. This is causing delays and confusion with customer communications.

Could you please look into this and provide a solution as soon as possible?

Hi,

Please make sure that the “Downloadable” and “Virtual” checkboxes are checked for each individual variation. Additionally, here are a few common configuration issues that could be causing the tickets not to send: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/troubleshooting/why-are-my-tickets-not-being-received/

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please contact us here, and our team will assist you further: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support/

Hi, I have a pre-sales question. if i buy this plugin and for example Jhon sees an upcoming comedy show on my site and selects the event, pays online and here my question arises, John will receive an email with the details and I attach a PDF with the ticket or to make that possible the plugin extension is necessary (PDF Ticket extension)

I understand I was imagining something like that, if I wanted that extension would I have to buy it later apart from buying and installing the main core?

Yes, you can purchase it later from our website. Please note that the PDF Tickets plugin extension is not a standalone plugin and needs the main/core plugin to work.

great thank you very much for your prompt response

Could you add a link so that you can load the ticket directly into your wallet?

Having an Apple Wallet integration or PKPASS generation is not currently a built-in feature of FooEvents, but is on our Product Roadmap. We can’t provide any timeframe for when this will be done, but if you’re interested, you may sign up on this page to receive an email notification once this has been released: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/feature-notifications/?feature=--%20Apple%20Wallet%20integration

Is it compatible with ACF plugin? I need to integrate a button to upload files, and unfortunately the option does not appear in custom attendee fields

Since Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is a third-party plugin, we can’t guarantee compatibility. However, we haven’t received any reports recently regarding incompatibility issues with this plugin and the latest FooEvents.

If you experience any FooEvents compatibility issues, please contact us directly (https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support) and we’ll try to resolve the issue or add it to this page (https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/third-party-integration/incompatible-plugins) if necessary. Should you require any assistance installing, configuring or using the third-party plugin, please contact the plugin author directly.

Hello Team, is your plugin MULTIVENDOR?

I Mean SAAS, Can it be used by multiple people for selling events?

Also is it possible to have an affiliate account?

A person who earns money by promoting the event.

ADMIN VENDOR AFFILIATE

Please let me know, thanks

Hi,

We have not specifically integrated or tested FooEvents extensively with Dokan or WCFM, so you may experience difficulty implementing FooEvents as a multi-vendor service. However, we have had customers who have reported that they have successfully implemented it based on their needs. While the products/events will most likely work properly, we can’t guarantee that they will accommodate the tickets and attendee custom post types in a multi-vendor environment.

Here’s some more information: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/installation-setup/can-i-install-fooevents-on-a-multisite-multi-vendor-network

FooEvents makes extensive use of the built-in WordPress user role and capability functionality to ensure better privacy. By default, only users with the role of “Administrator” on WordPress will have access to all the FooEvents features. If you require an additional role to have access to specific FooEvents features, you can do so using a free third-party WordPress plugin. You can learn more about this here: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/topics/events/user-roles-capabilities-and-permissions

hi, presale question. It is possible to use to sell Bus travel ticket and client can choose Date(any date) and depart time ?

Hi, yes this should be possible to do if you are also using our FooEvents Bookings plugin extension. Here is a demo event that works in a similar way: https://demo.fooevents.com/product/city-bus-tour/. The FooEvents Bookings plugin extension is available on our website.

The booking date and time slots will be displayed in dropdown lists, but if you are also using the FooEvents Calendar plugin then you can display a calendar grid that can act like a date picker. Here is an example event that is set up like this: https://demo.fooevents.com/product/drive-in-cinema/

Hello, I have a question,

At checkout we have Attendees, the question is as follows,

We have field where we add email for each attendee let’s say we have 4 attendees, is there any way to automatically send those ticket for each attendee?

Hi, please contact our support team directly for assistance, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support

Hello, is there a difference between buying the plugin here or through your official site, other than the price difference? Thanks.

Hi,

The FooEvents plugin sold on Envato/CodeCanyon is the main FooEvents for WooCommerce plugin only. This plugin includes all the core functionality needed to sell tickets.

On our website we also offer several bundle options that include plugin extensions with additional functionality such as booking slots, seating charts, multi-day functionality, sending PDF tickets, capturing extra information about each attendee and our point-of-sale system to sell and print tickets at your event.

There are some differences in the way in which Envato handles plugin updates and technical support licenses. Please contact our support team directly for more information: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Hey, pre-sale question: Functionality sounds great and it looks super to create own ticket codes/qr codes.

We have this case, but we also have these 3 cases (in our example amusement park tickets):

1) we want to sell ticket codes which we have a list of. Is it possible to create a product and add these codes to the product? We do not need a QR code there, just the code for the customer and some infos how to use. 2) we want to sell tickets where we have single pdfs for each customer (including own QR code etc.). Is it possible to batch upload them? 3) we have a list of codes to import from which we need to generate the tickets including QR code etc. with your system.

Hi koenlin,

1) If you mean that you would like to add an individual, unique code to each ticket then you can do so if you are also using our FooEvents Custom Attendee Fields plugin extension. Otherwise if each attendee needs to see the same code then you can add this as part of the ticket content that the attendee will see in the ticket email that they receive.

2) FooEvents does not let you use your own PDF tickets or QR codes for tickets. FooEvents will automatically generate a unique QR code for each ticket based on the ticket number. The FooEvents PDF Tickets plugin extension will automatically generate a PDF ticket for each attendee.

If you have any other questions, please contact our support team directly and we would be happy to assist: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Why can’t I pay with PayPal when I want to buy the plugin on your Foo Event website?

Hi Liezl, we have responded to your Support Ticket regarding this similar issue.

If you have any further questions, please contact our support team directly for assistance, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact

Thanks so much

I have few Questions:
1. There is no issue when I use default WooCommerce checkout page but, when I use custom checkout designed with Elementor Checkout widget, I got error message. Name field is missing, last name is missing, email id is missing, and Phone no is missing.
2. You have mentioned in one of the comments that, to use custom fields,
Use Text widget > click Dynamic icon > Post custom fields. It will show FooEvents custom fields. But When I checked it, I didn’t see any FooEvents custom fields. How can I show Date, Location, Description, etc., as per my own design?. I don’t want to show default woocommerce product page.

Hi, please contact our support team directly for assistance, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact

Hello, I would like to buy the plugin but it is not compatible with the multivendorx plugin https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/

Could you make it compatible?

The plugin support email: contact@multivendorx.com

Thanks

Hi, thank you for your message and feedback. We don’t provide support for third-party plugins or offer any custom design or development services.

For now, I’ve added having an integration with FooEvents and MultiVendorX Marketplace to our list of features to consider implementing in the future. However, we can’t provide an estimated timeframe on when this will be released.

If you want a setup like this then you can consider having a multi-user environment or “network”. You can read more about how a setup like this can work with FooEvents in this article: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/installation-setup/can-i-install-fooevents-on-a-multisite-multi-vendor-network

We’ve also received reports that the main features of the FooEvents plugin are compatible with WCFM Marketplace, although we do not officially integrate with WCFM from our side.

Hello, One question, within demo account, I set up an event with specific time. But in the calendar its showing as a ,,all-day” event. Why is that? Thanks

Hi, please contact our support team directly for assistance, thanks: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/

Can I use seat plugins together with availability by date? example to rent umbrellas on the beach for several days?

Hi incafra, no, currently your event can be either a “Seating” event or a “Bookable” event (if you have both the FooEvents Seating and FooEvents Bookings plugin extensions installed) but not both at the same time. This means that events with seats can be used for single-day events only, and events with booking slots cannot have a separate set of seats for each slot.

Not impressed with the inability to update this from the WordPress dashboard even though we’ve entered our CodeCanyon License Code – ridiculous.

Hi there, you should receive automatic plugin updates via the WordPress dashboard provided you have an active Envato support license or active license purchased on FooEvents.com. If your license is expired, only then will you need to manually update the FooEvents plugin. You can also extend your Envato support license for the FooEvents plugin to continue receiving automatic updates.

If you have an active support license and the updates are not coming through, please be sure to get in touch and we will help get to the bottom of the issue – https://help.fooevents.com/contact/support/

Hi, I’ve purchased this and I can’t update it? Why?

In general, Envato/CodeCanyon offers lifetime plugin updates, however, the Envato technical support license includes automatic plugin updates only. If you purchased FooEvents through Envato/CodeCanyon and your support license expired, then you will still be able to update manually by downloading the plugin from your Envato account each time that you want to update. If you would like to continue receiving automatic plugin updates and technical support, then you can do one of the following:

1. Purchase a FooEvents plugin or bundle from FooEvents.com. A FooEvents license entitles you to 12 months of updates and support from the date of purchase. You may continue using FooEvents on your website, but since your license has expired, you will need to purchase a new license to continue receiving the following benefits:

- Frequent plugin updates which contain bug fixes, critical security patches and compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce
- Access to the FooEvents Check-ins app which require a recent version of the plugins
- Access to new features and functionality
- Free technical support

Because you are a valued FooEvents customer, you can use the discount coupon “Renewal30” at checkout to get 30% off your license renewal – https://www.fooevents.com/pricing

If you make a purchase on our website, then you will have access to our bundles or individual plugin extensions as well. Here is some more information about each FooEvents Bundle and the individual plugin extensions: https://help.fooevents.com/docs/frequently-asked-questions/general/which-fooevents-product-is-the-best-fit-for-me

2. Alternatively, you can renew your technical support and automatic plugin update license on Envato/CodeCanyon. Here are instructions on how to do that: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/207886473-Extending-and-Renewing-Item-Support

If you have any further questions, please contact us directly on our website: https://help.fooevents.com/contact

can i set that user are required to login or register before make booking?

Hi, FooEvents uses WooCommerce to process payments and orders on your website, similar to buying any WooCommerce product. This means that your WooCommerce Accounts & Privacy settings will be followed. If you want users to login or register before completing the checkout, then you can set this by disabling the Guest checkout on WooCommerce settings.

Here’s some more information from WooCommerce documentation: https://woo.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/#accounts-and-privacy-settings

I hope this helps. Please contact our support team directly for more questions or if we can assist with anything else: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/pre-sales-questions

Hi is it possible to customer to upload one image with FooEvents Custom Attendee Fields plugin? Is there file field? Thank you

Hi, the FooEvents Custom Attendee Fields plugin extension does not currently allow users to upload actual files, but you could consider asking your customers to provide a link to an image that is hosted elsewhere e.g. on a file-sharing platform such as DropBox.

Hi guys. I’m looking for a solution for own event. The event I need tickets for could have 50k+ registrations. How would the reminders work with such a big amount of tickets? Would all the emails be delivered alright?

Hi, please have a look at this article that contains some tips on managing large events with FooEvents: https://www.fooevents.com/how-to-prepare-for-large-events-like-a-pro-with-fooevents/. There are different ways to send reminders, depending on your requirements. FooEvents integrates with MailChimp and there are also other tools that you can use. Please contact our support team directly for more detailed information: https://help.fooevents.com/contact/pre-sales-questions/

FooEvents is white-labelled and intended to integrate seamlessly with your WooCommerce site. We do not add any branding to your events or tickets that can’t be removed. It is also possible to set your own logo and colours for the white-labelled FooEvents Check-ins mobile app. It is not possible to distribute the mobile app under your own name in the app stores though.
