No, it will not be a problem. The plugin will allow activation on a local or staging website using the same purchase code. If your test website is on a separate domain, you can open a support ticket with both (live and test domains), and we will whitelist it.
Activating the “Internal Share Counters” component doesn’t work. When manually activated, the feature is automatically deactivated/not saved. The support site https://my.socialsharingplugin.com/ doesn’t accept my license purchased on Envato.

Currently, shortcodes return a value with HTML, but we can easily prepare shortcodes that can return plain values. Can you tell which social value you need to be returned? We will prepare the required shortcode that can do that. Some of the values are also stored in the post meta table, so based on your needs, you can access them that way too.

For security reasons, websites can’t directly open or control mobile apps unless the app has a special setup for it. Facebook doesn’t allow this, so when you tap Share, it opens the Facebook website instead of the app.
This only works with Messenger, since Messenger does have that option.

And I think I’ve found a bug: the “Additional CSS” has stopped working. I noticed that the styles had been changed in certain parts of the plugin, such as the Follower Counter widget, where the social media icons are aligned to the left, even though I had them set to center.
If I apply the necessary changes to center them in the Additional CSS, they don’t work. If I apply them in my theme’s Custom CSS, they do.

The Mastodon social network has been added in the plugin and it is visible directly without adding in the custom network list. This is made because there are additional options available for it – username and tags (library does not allow additional options to the sharing).
You may not see it if the option for managing active networks is activated.

Yes, I had the option to manage which social networks enabled. After deactivating it, I now see the Mastodon option and can also configure it under “managing active networks.” Thank you.
I just wanted to let you know about the Additional CSS. I can fix it myself, given that CSS works by overwriting them in order. When I apply them to the theme, it fixes the problem and applies all the commands I had in the Additional CSS.

All messaging applications use social media tags to display information about the shared URL. When you share a URL the application will follow the link and read information from the tags (title, description, and image).
If the image is not loading there are several possible reasons for this:
1) Social media tags are not properly set/present 2) The image provided in the social media tags is not in the proper format (for example some of the applications for direct messaging do not accept webp files – only jpg and png). 3) You have made a setup preventing access to the images. Usually adding hotlink protection for images or blocking bots can cause this. 4) Your hosting experience a problem with connection to the social network/application data center

Yes, the plugin supports custom post types. You can enable any public post type from the plugin menu. That also includes the WooCommerce products. For WooCommerce we have dedicated integrations too https://socialsharingplugin.com/woocommerce-social-sharing/.
The plugin can show share counters. For networks with an API (Facebook, Pinterest) it will show the official number of shares. For the rest you can enable internal share counter function (count with click over the share buttons). And you can show a total value of shares.

Yes, the plugin tracks the number of shares. For networks that have API access, the counters are generated based on real shares. For the rest of the social networks, there is an internal counter option available. As an alternative, you can also enable internal share counters for all networks.
The internal share counters are tracked using clicks over the share buttons. They are stored locally on your website.
After the last update, your plugin started causing big problems by crashing all my sites.
He started making additional connections to the MySQL database and crashing all my sites.
