Real-time chat integration A real-time chat option is available in WP Guppy. You can configure it using Pusher or Socket for real-time messaging. Additionally, a post-based chat option is available which can be used within posts.
User account and login system WP Guppy uses the default WordPress user system, so it can work with the same user accounts that are used by your theme’s built-in membership system.
Private messaging Yes, all chats in WP Guppy are private between users.
Real-time notifications We provide an extension called “Guppy Noty.” It sends new message alerts, and if the user is not logged in or does not check the message, an email notification will be triggered.
Frontend submission / author functionality WP Guppy is designed to work with WordPress users, so authors created through frontend submission can use the chat as long as they are registered WordPress users.
Social interaction features WP Guppy currently supports private messaging between users, but it does not include additional social interaction features beyond direct private chat.

Me and my friend working on my a start-up with minimal budget which is an online classifieds. So choose wordpress as our core platform. Bought AdForest Wordpress theme. A plugin called SBChat bundled with theme but it doesn’t have real time chat instead it using AJAX . But we need real-time feature which is essential for our company.
While searching for a real time standalone plugin that’s how I reached here .
WP Guppy seems the only plugin in the market offering real-time chat with pusher, node.js, and other integrations that other plugins does not offering well.
My questions are.. 1. Does WP Guppy suitable for our online classifieds buyer and seller chat? 2. If yes, how much traffic it supports? (Currently our site hosted on Hostigner cloup startup plan). 3. In future what if your team stops supporting this plugin the what to do?

Hello, after clicking on “Reset guppy tables” the plugin stopped working normally. I have already deleted the tables in wp_options and wp_guppy that I found.
