Hello, is there a way to limit the trial period to a specific date with this plugin? For example, from today until January 15, 2025? And perhaps also the option to change the display in the product. Currently, it shows “Free” during a trial period. However, customers should be able to see beforehand that it costs, for example, $25 per week and includes a 2-day trial.

Hi,

It is not possible to limit trial to a specific date. It can be applied dynamically based on purchase date for specific number of days.

As per the plugin behavior, free trial message will be displayed as “Free Trial for the first 2 days Then $25 every week”. One more question is that can we use for tiffin subscription services for example if we activate subscription for 3 days …is each day amount is calculated automatically , customer able to pay due after delivery .

one day price is 50 , customer add subscription for 3 days First day : active second: pause Third day : active

is amount is updated each day ..like first day 50, second day 0 ( as subscription is paused) and third day is 50 so total due is 100

is this sequence it is Synchronization.

and lastly is there is order delivery option means each day mark order is delivered .

We already have ticket for same …but fortunately your support website forgot password is not working , email never received for create new password , but your support system is very weak

Subscription Payment Synchronization:

Renewal payments can be charged on a specific date or day from all the customers irrespective of the purchase date or day. For example, if one customer purchase a monthly subscription on 5th of the month and another customer purchase it on 12th of the month, if there is no synchonization, renewals will happen on next month 5th and 12th for the customers respectively. If synchronization is enabled and if 1st of the month is set as sync date, then renewal will happen for both the customers on 1st of the next month.

Prorate Amount can be charged for Synchronized Subscription:

For the same example above, if per month cost is $30, it means per day cost is $1. For first customer, until 1st of next month, there are 25 days. So, $25 will be charged as prorate amount for 1st installment. For second customer, until 1st of next month, there are 18 days and hence $18 will be charged for 1st installment. $30 will be charged for both customers from 2nd installment onward.

On pausing the subscription, due date will be extended.

I had purchased your plugin about a month ago. I created a support ticket 189869 and have never received a response. I posted some of my own responses in hopes to flag it, but it has been a no-go. I understand that the plugin supports automatic payment renewals through Paypal and Stripe only. If I have Apple Pay enabled for Stripe and a customer signs-up for a membership, will the automatic payment go through?

Will this work as an option for an existing product? For example, I want to offer a one time purchase of a product at regular price OR a reduced price if subscribed.

By creating a variable product with multiple variations, it can be possible. i.e. one variation for buying once, another variation for monthly subscription, another variation for 2 month subscription and so on. For subscription variations, you can set discounted price.

Hello,

I purchased plugin but it is not working for me. I opened support ticket 189128 “recurring payment does not go through, order hangs in pending payment”. Support initially responded but problem is still not resolved and for 2 weeks I’m not getting any response.

Plugin authors claim “average response time is 1 to 2 days”. In my case dead silence for 2 weeks.

If this problem will not be resolved I’ll have to ask for refund.

No, automatic recurring is supported only with WooCommerce Stripe and WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugins.

PRESALES: Question about skipped payments and rolling over in subscription plugin

Hello,

I’m exploring whether your plugin supports the following scenario for monthly, 6-month or annual membership plans:

If a customer skips a billing cycle (either because the payment fails or they choose not to pay), I want the skipped amount to carry over into the next billing cycle. In other words:

The next renewal charge would include the regular subscription fee + any skipped amount(s).

Or, alternately, the plugin would defer the missed payment and reconcile it later (i.e. “roll over” the unpaid balance).

This is more advanced than simply “skip one billing cycle” — it’s accumulating a debt and recovering it later.

Is this behavior supported by your plugin (or via an extension / add-on)? Could you also share documentation or an example showing how to configure or achieve that?

Skipping the billing cycle is possible. Non payment of a billing cycle will lead to Overdue, Suspend and finally Cancellation of subscription.

Hello I have a product which I am selling at $89 now but the original price is set as $129. I am selling with a coupon code. I want to user to be charged $129 from next year (meaning they should be charged based on the original price, not the discounted price). How can I set that?

Please note, I dont to change this for old subscribers. I want to enable this for alll new subscribers.

Hi,

If you are not using subscription coupon types(Recurring fee discount/Recurring fee % discount), then renewals will be charged with the original price only. Coupon discount will be applied to the renewals only when using subscription coupon types.

Hi, for a few days when payments are made with stripe for subscriptions I always receive this error message: “There was an error processing the payment: Missing required param: payment_method_optionscard[currency]”. This error only occurs when the item is Free Trial (amount 0) with automatic payment and flagged option “Show Automatic Payment Methods when Order Amount is 0”. Plugin stripe: WooCommerce Stripe Gateway 9.6.0.

I would like to use SUMO Subscriptions, I saw that it supports Stripe as a payment gateway. But I would like to know if I can use other Stripe payment options, like here in Brazil we use Boleto and Credit Card.

Another question, is can I use it with Sumo Affiliates?

Other Stripe payment options are not supported for automatic recurring. You can use it for getting manual renewal payments.

SUMO Subscriptions plugin is compatible with SUMO Affiliates Pro plugin.
