Hi,
I need assistance with the plugin Filter Everything Pro which i purchased a few months ago and installed on testing enviornment of the WooCommerce shop that I’m in charge of.
Everything has been working like a charm, however recently when I wanted to add new filter fields to defined filter set I noticed that it’s impossible due to a fact that the plugin is blocked like if my licence is no longer valid. If you find this info helpful – the plugin has been installed on a three / four testing enviornments of the same shop.
When i log in to codecanyon.net I can only find the pruchase code but not a licence key.
Please kindly advise what should I do as it’s very crucial for me becasue I need to launch the final project soon.
Thanks you in advance,
Regards
Hi rafalmos
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Please use incognito mode in your browser during this process!
In order to get the License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin, simply head to Filters -> Settings -> License and click the “Get your License Key” button.
It will take you to a new page where you have to log in with your Envato credentials (with an account where you have purchased the plugin) and obtain your License key.
Let us know if it helped. The incognito mode is quite important in this case.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi, thank you for your reply. Indeed when I put my purchase code in incognito mode, the license was activated. However, I have another problem. I activated the license successfully only on one testing enviornment, when I try to do the same on the 2nd one there’s info that the license key is invalid.
Hi rafalmos
Did you copy the full license key, including the last two symbols, which always are
==?
This is quite important, or maybe it is saying that the license is already activated on two sites?

Victor
Hello,
I am currently using Filter Everything Pro on a WooCommerce website that sells variable products. Each product variation is defined by a combination of 3 attributes.
The filtering itself works fine: when a user selects attributes (e.g. size, tuning, tension), the correct parent products are displayed. However, the issue is that once the user clicks on a product, the variation is not pre-selected on the single product page. Customers are forced to manually re-enter all attribute values again, which creates friction in the purchase process.
My questions are:
Does Filter Everything Pro natively support pre-selecting the correct variation on the single product page based on the filters the user applied?
If not, is there any built-in option to display variations as separate products in the catalog so that the filters can apply directly to those variations instead of just the parent product?
If neither option is available, what solution or recommended workflow do you suggest to achieve this behavior? (For example: compatibility with “Show Single Variations” plugins, code snippets, or other best practices.)
Finally, is this functionality planned for future releases of Filter Everything Pro?
We would like to provide our customers with a smoother user experience: ideally, after applying filters, they should either (a) land directly on the exact variation that matches their selection, or (b) see each variation displayed individually in the catalog so no further selection is needed.
Thank you in advance for clarifying what is possible with Filter Everything Pro
Hi aquila5
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Unfortunately, the filtering plugin does not provide such functionality. In fact, there likely isn’t any existing filtering plugin that provides what you described.
You can check the available plugins. There are separate plugins specifically designed for each thing that you described. There is no plugin that contains it all together.
Best Regards,
Victor
Is it possible to choose the order of the sub-filters? For example, if I have the house filter (villa, apartment), can I choose to have the apartment displayed first?
Hi alessiomarca12
This is possible, but only with the custom code; you can use the wpc_terms_before_display hook for that. Please check this page: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/hooks/#terms-before-display-hook
Best Regards,
Victor
I took a look but I didn’t understand much
In that case, you can contact your site developer so they can review the hook and example, and write you a custom code to fit your specific sorting requirements.

Victor
Hi there,
I’ve searched the documentation and the comments here several ways but I couldn’t find the answer. Hopefully it’s a quick answer for you.
I have Filter Everything Pro working well on two sites. On a third site I’m building now, we have categories that are nested 3 deep. The filter terms on the side only show the top level and second level on page load, with the option to expand the second level. How can we show the third level of category terms on page load by default?
Thanks! Michelle
Hi Michelle
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
There are no limitations in terms of subcategories. For example, here it is on our demo site: https://prnt.sc/yCMqGuESr7ol
If you choose to hide some categories or use the include/exclude functionality, it can break the hierarchy chain or hide categories that are not applied to the posts displayed on the filtered page.
Can you please send the link to the page with the issue?
Best Regards,
Victor
OK, glad to know all levels can be shown by default. I’m not sure why it isn’t. I tested the page on BrowserStack.com on several browsers but the default is only showing 2 deep. Let me know what I’m doing wrong, please.
https://societyofclinicalpsychology.org/resource/psychological-treatments/ Sitewide password: clinicalOf course, on my local machine, if I expand all the levels it loads up the next time expanded, which I appreciate. Users can optimize for how they want to see the filters and it remembers. Just need them all to show on page load.
Thank you! Michelle
Hmm, everything looks clean, and there are no errors in the console.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it directly on the site?
Best Regards,
Victor
Thanks – just PMed you the credentials.
Hi Michelle
We have checked the site, and it seems like everything is working as it should, at least on this page: https://societyofclinicalpsychology.org/resource/blog/clinical-bulletin/diversity-committee/
Basically, the filters are displaying only the available filter terms (your categories) that are present in the posts displayed on the current page.
This is why there is no 3rd level shown on the page you initially sent; that archive page doesn’t have any posts with the 3rd-level subcategory applied.

Victor
Good day, I’ve installed the pro version.. works like a charm.. Now!! there’s an option to “customize” the look and the plugin, but can’t find any settings.. I find the filters being to “in your face” and would like to make the font smaller, etc. how can I achieve that?
thx
Marc.
Hi Marc
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Most of the styles, such as colors, font sizes, etc., are inherited from the theme itself. This was done intentionally to allow the filters to adapt to each theme’s styles without requiring any additional work.
However, if you want to apply custom styles like different font sizes, colors, or general appearance changes, you’ll need to use custom CSS.
You can add your custom CSS in: Filters > Settings > Experimental > Custom CSS
Also, just in case, you can check this general topic on how to find the necessary element classes on any page and style them: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/colour-change-to-filter-title/This is not just a guide to our plugin; it’s general information on how to find element classes and apply custom styles to them.
Best Regards,
Victor
ah good to know!! thanks for the quick response.. Do I go to the theme customizer to change these settings?
Cheers!
Found it!! under customizer / sidebar! cheers!
Do you mean you found the general theme customization settings?

Hello,
On our page https://innolabel.eu/producten/ we have 2 problems with the plugin: 1) the Filter Everything Search bar is showing below all the other category filters, even though we put in on top in the admin panel. 2) when using the Search bar, after pressing Enter the page is scrolled all the way down, instead showing the filter results.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Jurgen_Braem
1) It could be due to caching on the site. So, you might want to try clearing the cache.
2) The page doesn’t scroll to the bottom automatically. For example, if you have 40 products and some filters above the search bar, and then you enter a search term and hit enter, it might return only 3 products. Since many products are removed, and some filter terms are cleared as well, the layout height shrinks. You’re still on the same scroll position, but because the content height decreased (say from 1000px to 200px), it looks like you’re scrolled to the bottom, even though you’re not; the content above you just shrank.

Suddenly the functionality of the filters changed from using parameters(?) to clean url’s /filter-xxx., which returns 404’s.
This is unacceptable for a production site.
Hi Luissimo
By default, in the PRO version of the plugin, all URLs use the /color-red/ approach. If you had the code below somewhere:
define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );
To turn it off in order to use GET parameters, making the URL look like ?color=red, then you most likely deleted that code, which is why it suddenly changed.

I’m using Elementor Pro on a category page that includes a Flexbox container. One of the columns inside this container is set to sticky, so it sticks to the top of the viewport when scrolling.
The issue I’m facing is with radio buttons inside that sticky column. When a radio button is selected and the column becomes sticky during scroll, the radio button gets unchecked automatically. Interestingly, checkboxes in the same setup do not lose their checked state—they remain ticked as expected.
Upon inspecting the CSS, I noticed that the following selector—which controls the display of checked radio buttons and checkboxes—disappears during scroll:
css .wpc-filters-main-wrap input[type=radio]:checked, .wpc-filters-main-wrap input[type=checkbox]:checked
This seems to be why the radio button loses its checked state when the sticky behaviour is triggered.
Hi greenpoint_computer_services
Please send the link to the exact page with the described issue, along with instructions on how we can recreate it on this page, so we can check the problem.
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor,
This is the page so the collection is radio buttons and the theme is checkboxes https://staging.fordmearsshop.uk/urns-for-ashes/ as you can see on scroll if you select a collection it unselects the radio button on scroll
In elementor pro create a page with 1 container in that container put 2 more containers then under layout put the direction so they are side by side in the left one put the shortcode for the widget [fe_widget] and in the right one put the elementor products widget. Once done click on the container with the filter widget in and go to advanced motion effects and change sticky to top with an offset of 20 and turn stay in column on
Hi greenpoint_computer_services
We have checked the site, and it looks like the issue is exactly as you described. This “sticky” functionality is somehow removing or altering the CSS from the inputs.
You can add this CSS to make it visible:
.wpc-filters-main-wrap .wpc-term-selected input[type="radio"]:after, .wpc-filters-main-wrap .wpc-term-selected input[type="checkbox"]:after {
opacity: 1;
}
However, you need to look into how this sticky functionality is working and in which way it is altering styles.

Victor
When you set up an SEO rule to index a filter you get a lot of analytic string before the attribute i cant see anywhere on the SEO rule to either have a unique URL or how to prevent this from showing
Hi greenpoint_computer_services
Can you please send the link to the screenshots to show exactly what you mean by “a lot of analytic string before the attribute”?

Hi Victor
Hi greenpoint_computer_services
This long part is not from our plugin:

The one that comes from our plugin is “colour=green;white&size=medium&theme=animals-flowers;eco;teardrop”

Hi, need some help with sorting the products by price.
I’m using the following filter to overwrite the prices for logged-in customers.
add_filter(‘woocommerce_product_get_regular_price’, ‘override_woocommerce_regular_price’, 10, 2); add_filter(‘woocommerce_product_get_sale_price’, ‘override_woocommerce_sale_price’, 10, 2); add_filter(‘woocommerce_product_get_price’, ‘override_woocommerce_price’, 10, 2);
The problem is that the sorting does not take into those overwrites. It it possible to get the FEP sorting to also take those filters to also consider the overwritten prices? I searched for the documentation and the comments but weren’t able to find any information about it.
Thanks Birk
Hi Birk
What exactly do you mean by “sorting does not take into account those overwrites”?
Is the sorting from our plugin not working?
Is it working, but not correctly?
Or are you trying to implement something like double sorting, where products are sorted by both price and title at the same time?
Best Regards,
Victor
Hi Victor
The sorting works, but it sorts by price set the product by default. So for example a product A has the _price field set a 5.00 and product B has _price field set 6.00, this is sorted correctly. However, in my case some customers have the product prices overwritten, so with the override_woocommerce_regular_price() will give the product A price of 4.90 and the product B 4.50 for example. So when I sort by lowest, I still get the the product A to be lower and ordered before product B. So my overwrite is not taken into account. Is there a way to tap in the sorting function of the plugin?
Thanks, Birk
Ah, alright, that’s a tricky one. We’ll need to contact the development team regarding this case. We’ll let you know as soon as they provide a response.
Best Regards,
Victor
Thank you! Please keep me posted.
Hi Birk
The development team has responded. You can modify it either by using template overrides: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/templates-overriding/ with custom code, or by using the “wpc_filtered_query_end” hook along with custom code. These are the only options they have provided.

Hello, I just purchaed the pro version, I found it’s hard to use, are there any video tutorial available? also, I want to filter by tags, like this link: https://shopmanqueen.com/collections/wool-cashmere-coats-women-long-wrap-belted filter product by models, colors, product design. wondering if Filter Everything able to do that? if so, can you show me the tutorial, becuase I tried many times, seems not able to get it work in the right way. thanks~
Hi carl383
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Yes, absolutely. However, each filter should be created from a separate entity. For example, you have one filter from tags, another filter from the product attribute “color,” and one more from the product attribute “size,” and so on. Just do not put everything under one taxonomy and then try to separate it into different filters.
We’d recommend starting with a quick‑start guide: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/quick-start/
If you have any issues with the settings, you can send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document with a link to the page where you want the filters to work, so we can set you an example of a filter set.
Best Regards,
Victor
thanks for your reply, let me clear the questions again:
filter by product tags, but I don’t want all the product tags to show up, we just want tags: “Models”, “Sleeve design” to show up in the sidebar filter. refer to this link: https://shopmanqueen.com/collections/wool-cashmere-coats-women-long-wrap-belted
now we did follow the quick start guide and the product tags filter shows all the tags (see this link: https://wordpress-1511406-5804981.cloudwaysapps.com/clothing/coats-jackets/?min_max_price=-3&v=2b1bc3a416f9 ), not able to edit them, seems no place to edit the tags, obivious it’s not the right way to show, we don’t want all product tags show up, we just want to show the tags: “Models”, “Sleeve design”.
Can you do that?
So, to make it look like in this example: https://prnt.sc/vy7rFJQGe5tS you need either one more separate taxonomy (you already have one called “tags”), or create a separate attribute named “Models” under Products > Attributes. Add all required models to that attribute, assign them to your products, and then create a filter from that product attribute.
If everything is placed inside the “tags”, you won’t be able to create two separate filters from it.
Best Regards,
Victor
thanks for your reply, got it. what’s your refund policy? Can I get full refund. thanks~
In general, a refund is possible by submitting a form through the account where the plugin was purchased and waiting for a response. Please note that the support team does not handle refunds. Furthermore, we have no control over the refund team and cannot speed up the process or influence it in any way.
Best Regards,
Victor
thanks, can you send the me link? I can not find the place where to submitting the form and ask for refund. thanks~

I’ve set up a filter for my catalog using a custom loop, but I’d like the filter to work very quickly, ideally without any loading time.
Right now, I have a product loop and it works fine. However, when I enable AJAX for the filters, my filter suddenly stops working and I get an error message, even though I’ve set the correct ID. I’d really like to use AJAX for instant filtering so it performs even faster.
The error message I get is: “It looks like this page doesn’t contain a container with the specified ‘HTML ID or class of the posts container’. Please try specifying the correct one in the Filter Set settings or in the general plugin settings.”
Could you please take a look at this? I’ve tried many things, but nothing seems to solve it.
Looking forward to your reply, Best regards, Bob

Hi Bob
The only mistake was that you didn’t add either the hashtag symbol (#) or the dot (.) # for IDs and . for classes. Since you have a custom ID applied, we used it in the filter set and in Filters > Settings > General > AJAX container input.
Regarding the link combinations, in general, you can turn off the URL permalink manager in our plugin so that filtering will use GET parameters instead. For that, you can use the following code snippet:
define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );
We recommend using this code snippet plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/
On a side note, we’d recommend displaying around 12 posts per page (with the use of the default numerical pagination in Elementor) rather than setting 100 posts to display, as loading that many takes too long. Each time you reset a filter, the server has to load them all, which slows things down.

Hello, I also need support for ACF date picker filters. If it’s in the development pipeline. Could you provide an ETA please? If not, could you help with implementing something like that at least until the development is done? Currently I’m using a Dropdown but the ordering is not ordering by date. Thanks
Hi idave147
The next update should include the ACF date picker filter. Currently, we are testing it and other functionality. There is no exact release date yet, but it may be available in a couple of weeks or possibly later.

Dear Stepasyuk, we have purchased the Pro plugin. We have set the filter up and reorganised our product categories to make it simpler. The store page is on https://stage.madebymebythesea.co.uk/store/. When you select a filter, you can see the number of products in brackets; however, the product pictures do not update to reflect the selection. I’m having trouble finding a solution in your documentation. Help please. You can see I’ve tried both Divi Filtergrid and Woo Products, and the products are not updating. I am not a coder, but an artist, so please can you make your answer not too techy. Thank you in advance, Vicky.

Thank you guys. Your support is really unmatched. On more question. Basically the categories being filter now should be as followed: Groenten (vegetables) is the parent category and the rest are subcategories of Groenten. Is there some way of showing this?
Because there will also be other parent categories under which blogs will fall. Hope this makes sense?
Yes, that is possible: https://prnt.sc/E1DggdfyZzha
Only working for chekboxes at the moment.

Hello There -
I have been using plugin for a longtime.
I have 13 years of SEO experience, I want to share a critical thing to be fixed.
Issue: Although noindex, nofollow tag is applied, these pages are accessible, internal linked and responds with 200.
Impact: The dynamic pages are accessed and getting crawled by Google bots to report them in the GSC https://prnt.sc/Vf_Zfk2pV_Aa
Because of this, the potential pages which I kept open for crawl and indexed need to pass a long queue and usually dropped because of crawl budget exhaustion.
Can you make a change in code that only create indexable pages based on the settings applied. All the possibilities beyond that intelligently switch to some sort of AJAX based logic, so that a new URL isn’t even generated
This change will help webmasters more confident enough using woocommerce along with your plugin.
Hope this make sense and fixed asap.
Hi unlockgrowth
By default, all filtered pages are set to noindex/nofollow. If you return anything other than a 200 status code, such as a 404, filtering on the page will not work without SEO Rules. Additionally, SEO Rules can be created for only one selected filter term per filter. So, if you select two options in a filter, such as red and blue in the color filter, it will return a 404 because this combination does not fall under the defined SEO Rules.
The filter URL parameters are essential to the plugin’s core functionality. It does not matter whether it is AJAX-based or not, these parameters must be present in the URL. You can configure firewall settings or server settings to block crawler access to unnecessary links using wildcards. Additionally, the sitemap XML functionality will be released in the next update, which can help address this issue. You could use those links for firewall rules and other configurations to control which pages should be accessible and which should not be accessible to crawlers.
Best Regards,
Victor
The additional rule you said “Additionally, SEO Rules can be created for only one selected filter term per filter. So, if you select two options in a filter, such as red and blue in the color filter, it will return a 404 because this combination does not fall under the defined SEO Rules.”
This setting can help me fix the issue. But I can’t find it in the settings. How to switch it on?
We just provided an example of how filters can break when using an approach that relies solely on SEO Rules, with all other cases returning a 404. This is not supported by the plugin’s functionality.
However, as previously mentioned, you can use firewall rules, robots.txt, and other server settings to block crawler access to certain pages or allow access only to the ones you need. This process will become easier once the sitemap feature is released, as you can include all the relevant links to configure access permissions based on it.
Best Regards,
Victor
