Instead of scraping a featured image, is it possible to scrape a video file and set that as the feature media in WordPress? If not, would you consider customising the plugin to allow this?
The plugin only downloads images; it does not download videos, unfortunately

I think there is a problem with the Xpath used to extract attribute values using @. Example: //img/@src src=”https://example.jpg″
//div/@data-item-id data-item-id=”example″
The desired result is something like “https://example.jpg” and “example.” It is possible to strip using AI, but it is unstable because it sometimes returns incorrect results.
I know you previously addressed “@href,” but could you address other elements and attributes as well?

Spent an ENTIRE DAY wasted trying to get this plugin to work again by snatching content images in the body of pages and it just doesn’t work anymore. I’ve already tried lazy load config and entering data-src and data-original, and it never works. if it ever does, its completely random to snatch the images its supposed to. Not interested in renewing support just to fix this issue that shouldn’t be happening to begin with. Extremely aggravated….
Its even more of an issue when the images are on a CDN for the website youre getting the rss info from.
Every site uses its own way of lazyloading, there is no specific configuration that works for all, but the configuration depends and is tailored to the source site
Knowing the exact configuration for the desired site requires checking the HTML of the source and finding the exact configuation
For some reason, my site stopped fetching the embedded image as featured from an RSS Feed. Instead, it is setting up the favicon as image.
I did not move a single setting and it has posted almost 6k articles before. Do you have any advice?

Configuration depends on the source site, the plugin can import the og:image or images from the post content and you will need to adapt your configuration accordingly

In the end, because it was a custom script, I was able to put the image in an enclosure and Automatic began to fetch the image once again. It’s kind of strange, seems to be working fine after that.

I’m very disappointed. I bought this plugin back then because I wanted to import posts from Facebook groups into my WordPress site. It worked for exactly two weeks, and since then, it hasn’t worked. You’ve often told me you’re working on it. With every update, I hope it will work again this time. But to no avail. Again, I can’t import a Facebook group.
Unfortunately due to changes from FB side, this is no more possible. If we find a solution to this problem, we will add to the next versions of the plugin

I’ve noticed that during the last 2–3 updates, the plugin updates no longer appear in my WordPress dashboard as they used to. Instead, I only receive email notifications informing me that a new version is available.
Has the update mechanism changed recently? Should the updates still appear in the WordPress dashboard as before?

Just make sure that your license is activated correctly on your site, and you should find a check for the update link or the updated version number displayed when a new update is available

I have verified that the license is correctly activated on my site — it shows as active. I also clicked the “Check for updates” button manually from both the Plugins page and the WordPress Updates section.
However, the update is still not showing in the dashboard, even though I know a newer version is available.
Could you please check if there is any issue with how updates are being pushed to licensed users, or let me know if there’s anything else I should try?

But it doesn’t pull over [product_reviews_text] for some reason. The logs look clean. I’ll keep researching – thanks for your time.

For some reason Im no longer able to scrape the images from the content of the blog posts anymore. Its just giving 404 blank images. Only featured image works.
Maybe additional configuration is needed like lazy loading fix for the specific source that you are importing from

I would really like to have a date/time extraction method, exactly like items, title and content extraction. I have a lot of multiple-page campaigns where it doesn’t automatically identify the date/time of the article, and then I can’t use the “Add posts with its original time” which is really bad.
