I’m sorry to bother you again ashanjay, is there any chance we could use a regularly events, maybe once in a week or once in a month? or we can arrange this. So, we don’t have to add manually every time for this event. how’s that?

@ancel @ashanjay yes, use gravity forms by selecting custom field that used by ajde event calendar (see documentation). See an example on http://radiorodja.com/infokajian and click for “Submit Info Kajian” button.

Great job! Please can this work for a public events management wordpress site where users can register on the front-end and submit events on the front-end (no logging in to the wordpress admin area)? An admin will still moderate submitted events.

You can with the use of a plugin like Gravity forms. Use gravity forms to submit content to event post type that matches correct meta field names.
Hi, question: I notice that you have Month Increments in the settings, but this doesn’t help if I want to always start the calendar at a specific month.
I need the calendar to always start in June. If I put a +6 month increment on the calendar, then next month I have to go back to the calendar and change this to +5, then go back the next month and change to +4, etc. Is there a way to always start the calendar in the same month?

Not at the moment. This plugin shows events per month basis.
Sorry for not being clear. Monthly basis sounds fear enough, that’s what I need.
I mean is it possible to use it as a fixtures page for an all-round sports site as the link provided above. Where you’ve a date/clock, then an image of the sport, then the team vs team and under it the tournament. and bellow that the venue.

Hi, I just purchased your plugin and have a couple of questions/comments:
1. How can I set a certain number of events to show in the widget? i.e. the next ten upcoming events (regardless of months)
2. I might be wrong (I’ve been reading up on WP Calendars all morning) but is this calendar responsive? It only partially shows up on my iPad and iPhone—doesn’t look good.

You should see an option under widgets to set the number of events.
It might be your website that has the calendar is not properly coded to detect device width for iPad. If you can send me a link to the site I can take a look and tell you whats wrong.

It’s the widget calendar that doesn’t look right on devices; calendar on a page looks good.

In the ipad, seems like your side bar is breaking into 2 columns and thats messing up the calendar because the calendar is forced to break in the middle. Fix could be not break the sidebar into 2 columns for ipad resolution. Looks fine in iPhone.
Can you send me your email address? I have some screenshots I’d like to show you of the iPhone view I’m getting. Calendar loses grey bar and arrows to previous or next months. I’d really like your suggestions on how we can fix this… we are digging this calendar and would like to use. Many thanks!
I can see the iphone view seems like the styles in your theme are overriding the styles on the calendar.
I have a issue where the plugin will not pull the info from the eventbrite api, I have checked and the plugin is making a outside call to the eventbrite servers, it just returns the error could not retrieve data at this time. Any idea’s on why it would not work. I did request the api key and have entered it into the appropriate section.

You can use the eventbrite API provided to sell tickets book events.

I’m sorry if i’m asking you so much, since in my country we used with time 24 hour format, could you make an options for this?
In wordpress go to Settings>General Timeformat and change it to 24 hour format. What ever settings you set here is whats reflected in the calendar times.
I have downloaded and uploaded the plugin, but the images and setting / configuration is all messed up, please help me or I will have to request a refund via Envato support.. I love the plugin which is why I bought it but it’s a shame it wont work right

I dont see the map in the code perhaps you didnt select the map to be generated? Do you have the calendar on body content section of the page?
I’m sorry, my mistake, it’s not gone but other sidebar is below content before footer and finally i fix this with not using Event Calendar Widget. And to show my events I use Text widget and write the shortcode.
There is a Custom Language Text Support. Does this mean that i can translate the whole plugin(controls, admin, etc) easily to different language or does that just mean the calendar events in different languages?
Translation works for both front and back end
I see that there is no translation template files or anything. The current solution works for now but i might need to try translate the whole backend.. (ie buttons, headers, etc.).
The Event settings Start Date and End date does not seem to change for 24 hour format even though it is set in the general settings. It only shows inputs for am/pm style.
Couple suggestions. It would be great if i could put the Event link be automatically the event url. Also it there could be option to keep the sliding functionality even if the url is set.

So it should show 24 hour format? If so then there is probably something wrong with my server.

I click on “Events” and only gain access to the settings tab, but not to any “add event” function. Thanks im sure this is something I am missing. I tried it on two different sites and get the same result. Thanks!
Also, there were some css issues with the widget caused by my template’s css having padding rules on #sidebar .widget li and li:last-child. And I needed to have a different heading styling than the default widget header but I was able to find the html in the plugin core php doc and add my own rule name. I think I have the rest of it dialed in too.
One last thing: Google maps looks great! But the little pushpin doesn’t popup when it’s clicked on. Is that because the box in the widget area is forced to be too small for it? Or is it a bug? Let me know.

Its not suppose to open a infobox in google maps because the idea is all the info you need is in the event card and the marker in google map is only to show the location in map.

its those shadows in your theme. Try this: open up lib/evcal_frontend.php on line 18 add this “box-shadow:none!important” into img styles.
