I have a pre-sales question.
How do I limit having 1 user who buys the course, but then shares their log in details with 20 people who have not paid for the course.
You can limit the device login from the admin panel as per your needs.
If you allow 1 device, then when login from another device the existing device will be logged out automatically.

Please note that the Regular License is suitable for personal or internal use where you’re not charging end users—for example, your own project or website.
The Extended License is required when you’re charging end users, such as for a client project or a commercial platform.
However, add-ons are sold separately and are not included with either license. You would need to purchase the required add-ons individually.

When I reviewed the demo, I noticed that it was running very slowly and there was a long delay after clicking. Is this how the theme normally works, or is it just the demo that’s slow?

Could you please clarify which type of payment you’re referring to? If you’re asking about course payments—then currently, a subscription-based payment model is not available by default. However, it can be implemented through source code customization.

With the regular license of Academy LMS, instructors can upload and sell their own courses on your platform. As the admin, you have full control over the commission structure. You can set a percentage commission that you earn from each course sale made by instructors.
This feature allows you to build a multi-instructor marketplace while generating revenue from instructor sales — all managed easily from your admin panel.

⚠️ Video playback quality issue
My students are reporting that the video quality during playback is extremely poor — to the point that it becomes unwatchable. There’s no option in the built-in player to adjust quality or playback speed, which is very frustrating.
The videos themselves are uploaded to Vimeo in 4K quality. When accessed directly via Vimeo, all playback options (quality/speed) are available and work perfectly. However, when those same videos are played inside Academy LMS, those options are hidden or stripped from the player UI.
This severely degrades the learning experience.

Looks like there’s a problem with this site https://domain.com/updater/update might have a temporary problem or it could have moved. Error code: 500 Internal Server Error This issue does not occur with previous updates. I’ve tried in multiple browsers and operating systems — same result.Could you please check if the update_6.12.zip package is broken or incorrectly linked?
