Hello there, thank you for the question. We do not have immediate plans to allow event page customizations via elementor. because at the moment we offer eventcard designer which allow you to customize the event card layout and structure and items.
In the future if we decide to add page level customization, that will probably be within wordpress blocks. which is widely used compared to elementor.

Thank you for the response. Can you clarify the Mailchimp integration more please? I understand it allows for managing the subscriber list via Mailchimp…but are all emails to subscribers then handled via Mailchimp? or your plugin? a combination of both? I’m trying to understand the Subscriber’s functionality once its integrated with the Mailchimp plugin.
By enabling MailChimp/EventON integration you can add subscribers from EventON to Mailchimp. But there is no direct compatibility between Subscriber and Mailchimp. You just send users’ list to Mailchimp.
Subscriber add-on allows users to subscribe, receive notifications, you can manage them and so on.
The big problem with this plugin is that it is not available in Spanish. It would be great if they had official language packs. I already have three projects where I used other alternatives because of the language issue. It’s a shame that developers don’t consider official language pack support to be important.

Thank you for letting us know! The thing is that you can go to EventON > Language > Export Using Text.
Next, let any translator to translate the text.
Since EventON uses simple phrases, it should be quite easy to make a decent translation.
looking at the plugin, i wanted to ask is the module for front-end user submission of events possible or is that a separate add-on and if so whats the link to the add on?
as i am looking at this for a community site where members may submit their own events to the calendar for free (not via payment for users submitting their events)

I am experiencing an issue when duplicating repeating events. When I duplicate a repeating event, the editor page does not load the module to set the event details (time, location, date, registration, etc.); I can only edit the event description and title.
This does not occur when I duplicate non-repeating events, nor when I make a new event. I am running EventON Lite (2.6.4)

Even though we have addressed the issue (in 4.9.8, issue was recognized in 4.9.7), only way to stop getting these notices is to change version to 5.0 or 4.9.10 just because this person put <= 4.9.9 as vulnerable version just to mess with it and make it harder for us to fix it.. I do not know why someone would do this…

We just released version 4.9.10 – which should flush out these error notices. We have released a proper fix for this in version 4.9.8—but the guy reporting the issue mess up the version number, which caused all these confusions.
Any ways the latest version should resolve everything for good and get you on your way my friend!

I am very dissapointed with your customer support. I am waiting for an answer and solution from you since May 23 without success (all my tickets are submitted at https://helpdesk.ashanjay.com/). Sorry to hear you are feeling disappointed as things are not going the way you expect. We are currently working with patchstack to get a detailed report to resolve this issue as the same issue they have marked as fixed for EventON Lite 2.4.5 which has the same code changes as 4.9.8
I have installed the 4.9.9 upgrade but the vulnerabiliy issue still appears at Wordfence. I am still waiting for a solution. It already has been a lot of days without any advance from you related to your customers….

hi, i would like adivice you that there’s a issue with new method validate_request from class in class-evo-helper.php file. For Editor role this method is called with $capability parameter passed as “1” and return and ‘You do not have proper permission’. Can you confirm this issue?
i checked this with a simple error_log in validate_request method:
error_log(‘KOOTJ DEBUG TEST: ’ . $capability);
Editor role has edit_eventons capability setted.

Actually I see in the EVO_Taxonomies_editor there are several validate_request calls where we passed true instead of capability. Which would return the 1 value for the $capability.

Hi there, I’m curious as to why the waitlist function doesn’t work for tickets, it seems like this is a very important feature that is missing and seems as though there are a lot of comments about it only being for RSVP. Do you have a plan to add this? seems like a very important feature.

RSVP and Tickets are two completely add-ons. Since Tickets bases it’s functionality on WooCommerce, it much harder to create an extension to it comparing to RSVP add-on that is fully our product.
As artem mentioned, Waitlist is more involved and we are actually planning to create an addon that support waitlist feature for Tickets
It will probably go into development after we release the Polls addon 
Yes the plugin seems amazing at the first sight, but it’s a nightmare to use as soon as you start using it. The quality of the support is really bad, there are many bugs and the quality of documentation is really poor.
