What happens to my existing AliExpress affiliate links on my two sites if I activate your browser extension?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please know that our chrome extension uses our own affiliate link and we can’t support if you use yours. If you click Accept, then it means ours is activated.
Best regards.
In this case, your claim that the activation of your affiliate link does not cost your plugin customers is a lie. It costs them money they get from their sales through their affiliate link, which you want to take over. It is a really shameful move on your part.
What you said isn’t true. Users don’t have to pay anything extra to use our plugin or the Chrome extension.
The situation is simple, but you pretend you don’t understand it. If I turn on the extension you will rewrite my affiliate links and enroll yours, and earnings from them will go to you and not me. Am I right?
That is how affiliate system works. But as I said, compare to what you have before this chrome extension update, it doesn’t cost you any extra, you don’t pay anything to use chrome extension, and you can choose to use chrome extension or not. If you don’t, you still have AliExpress API since you are a premium user.
In addition, it can slow down the search for AliExpress products because I guess every click on some product initiates the process of inserting your affiliate link.
No, it doesn’t change anything. Your guess is incorrect.
I want to express my dissatisfaction with the unethical procedure of the author of the plugin that have practically prevented us using the once free browser extensions. Now if you do not want to leave them earnings from affiliate links for your sales, you can no longer use a browser extension. This is a real disaster. Without extension, you have no longer able to manually update the products in your shop, which means that you will not know when a product is no longer available on Alliexpress, or when the price is changed. This can lead to big problems and losing your money. It is also significantly harder to import new products without extensions because you cannot bulk import products , or import a specific product when you surf on AliExpress. All of this significantly degrades the possibility of using this plugin. This is no longer the plugin for which I bought two licenses and I feel cheated.
Hi,
We appreciate your feedback and want to clarify a few points. The support subscription ensures continued access to automatic product synchronization, updates because it relies on AliExpress API. It’s already warned in our plugin description and documentation, if you read.
Regarding the browser extension, it operates under our current integration model, which is designed to maintain functionality within the platform’s limits. We understand that different users have different needs, and we always take feedback into account as we refine our offerings
Regards.
You are constantly repeating the same useless phrases.
We’ve provided the correct information, but from your inquiries, it seems there’s a misunderstanding. Our plugin does not take anything away from you, nor does it harm your store. If you have specific concerns, we’re happy to clarify them, but we can’t change facts to match personal beliefs. Let us know if you need further clarification.
Now i see where the problem i had came from..so if i dont renew support for a plugin that should be one time payment,my products dont update and i start getting refunds as products out of stuck on aliexpress are not updated on my website..what a mess..This is very greedy …
Also if you are going to steal our affiliate commisions, then you should stop charging for support.Personally i cant continue using the plugin under these conditions,at this point by business is at risk using the plugin.i already had refunds from loss of product updates .
Hi,
We understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback. Just to clarify, the affiliate commission helps us maintain ongoing support, while the support fee you pay is specifically for access to the AliExpress API, which enables automatic order updates and retrieve live shipping option data.
Even if you choose not to renew support, you can still update products manually using the Chrome extension. This manual synchronization does not involve any affiliate commission and does not take anything away from you.
We aim to provide flexibility in how you manage your store, and we’re here if you need further clarification
Best regards.
NOTICE FOR POTENTIAL BUYERS Be aware that full plugin functionality is tied to active support subscription – which means a recurring payment every six months. Without that, automatic product synchronisation will not work. On top of that, the company recently tied the functionality of the browser extension to their AliExpress affiliate link. If you do not agree to use their link – the browser extension will not work. And if you agree, this means you cannot use your own affiliate link, and all the affiliate proceeds will go to them.

how greedy can you be, instead f giving us the cashback your chrome extension takes it for your self, we made the sale so we should be able to get it not you getting the commission
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We understand your concern, and we want to clarify that using the Chrome extension for order fulfillment is entirely optional. You always have the choice to fulfill orders manually and not via chrome extension if you prefer to keep the commission for yourself.
Our extension is designed to streamline the process, but you’re free to manage fulfillment on your own. We know this change might not be ideal for everyone, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience it may cause. If you need any guidance on doing so or have any further questions, feel free to reach out – we’re happy to help!
Best regards.
ive been asking to add affiliate or cashback and then you do this, other platforms allow you to use admitad to get commission and you decided to take the commission to your self just selfish, imagine i have 1000s per day and you get to keep the commission for my hard work does that make sense to you, i will no longer use your plugin thank you
there are other ways you can earn money maybe creating a premium plugin where you charge $5 per month with extensive features not taking our commission
We understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback. Our approach is based on the current structure of the plugin. While the affiliate commission is for maintaining and improving our chrome extension, we have no options for cashback at the moment and we take no benefit from cashback.
We always take user suggestions into account for future improvements. We’re sorry to hear that it didn’t meet your expectations, and we respect your decision. Thank you for giving our plugin a try, and we wish you all the best moving forward.
What are you people doing? You first disabled options for automatic update (if no additional fee is paid), and now disallow the use of browser extensions if we do not allow you to use your affiliat link. That is absolutely wrong. I paid for functional software, and with this move your plugin becomes useless. I don’t want to use your affiliate link on my sites, because I already use my affiliate link. Urgently undo this change and return everything as it was.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We understand your concern, and we truly appreciate your support. The affiliate link requirement is a small contribution that helps us continue developing the plugin and bringing improvements over time.
We know this change might not be ideal for everyone, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience it may cause. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out – we’re happy to help!
Best regards.
Still, using the extension is completely optional – it’s entirely up to you, and there’s no extra fee involved. If you’d prefer, you might find the Pro version’s built-in search and import feature on the Import List more convenient: https://snipboard.io/KuCkpE.jpg
If you know this change might not be ideal for everyone, why are you doing this?
We understand that this change may not be ideal for everyone, but it’s a necessary step to help us sustain development and continue improving the plugin. Maintaining and enhancing software takes ongoing resources, and this small contribution helps us keep delivering updates and support.
That being said, we want to ensure you still have options. And still, it’s important to note that there’s no extra fee or change that affects extension’s performance.
It’s totally wrong. You understand that it’s not good for your customers, but you don’t care.
I know this isn’t what you’re looking for. But maintaining and improving the Chrome extension requires continuous development efforts. This contribution directly supports our chrome extension development team, allowing us to enhance features, provide updates, and ensure long-term stability.
We always strive to balance sustainability with user experience, and while we know this might not work for everyone, we appreciate your understanding. If you have any concerns or need assistance, feel free to reach out, we’re here to help
Hi Team
Pre-purchase questions here.
I have been reading some comments here and wanted some things cleared up if possible.
1. Once you purchase the plugin on this site, are there any restrictions on it?
2. I also keep reading that functions are disabled once your license expires; how does that even happen if you are purchasing lifetime licenses on Codecanyon? Please explain this part.
The license question is crucial since I have never heard before that the Codecanyon license expires after 1 year, so I need to know what I am getting when I purchase the plugin and what features and functions.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out with your questions! We’d be happy to clarify.
1. Once you purchase the plugin from CodeCanyon, there are no restrictions on usage – you can use the plugin indefinitely. However, the purchase includes 6 months of support and updates by default, which can be extended if needed.
2. Regarding licenses, the plugin itself does not expire. You can continue using it even after the support period ends. However, certain functionalities that rely on external services or APIs (e.g., third-party integrations, auto-updates) may require an active license key. This is why some features may be affected when the license expires.
Codecanyon licenses do not expire after 1 year, but the included support period does. If you’d like ongoing updates and support, you can renew the license when needed.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Best regards.
Hi..this is a great plugin ,but i do have a challenge..My card cannot process USD payments so am unable to fulfil orders on the aliexpress site.I saw under your description ,automatic fulfilment on orders made on woo…does that mean if a customer makes a purchase on my website,it will automatically be processed on aliexpress without need me to manually place the order..please let me know if this is now possible.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Not really, the “Auto fulfill” feature automates the process of placing an order on AliExpress if the WooCommerce order matches the requirements of payment method and order status. For more details, you can see this short tutorial: https://youtu.be/uGW4at0ycvo?si=daoh1H5pYEUms-fS&t=206
It’s not necessarily paid by the customer to be auto fulfilled.
Best regards.
i had an order on my store for a product that clearly shows instock, but when i tried to fulfil it on aliexpress,it shows out of stock…i even conacted the seller and he confirmed it was indeed out of stock..Why did the plugin not update the listing to out of stock even though i set it all in the dashboard settings?I found many products that were out of stock on aliexpress still in stock on my website..it was frustrating.I had to refund the buyer and lost 350usd my first order. Please has this been fixed with the updates.
Infact i abandoned my website as i was going back and forth with manually updating my listings. Please verify this has been fixed with the updates..i dont want to list several products and then stuck in the same loop.
Hi,
When you manual update items with chrome extension, you need to select the AliExpress country where the item was imported from: https://snipboard.io/M3HGeS.jpg
Could you please create a support ticket on this Support Forum and let me take a direct look?
Hi,
I’m writing to seek clarification about an issue with my plugin license.
After encountering a message stating “Your key expired on Feb 19th 2025”, I noticed two concerning behaviors:
The Auto Update feature is disabled.
The AliExpress API “Get Access Token” button is inactive (greyed out).
This implies that core functionalities are being restricted. This appears to conflict with CodeCanyon’s policy that paid plugins must provide perpetual access to core features, where subscriptions should only apply to support/updates (not basic functionality).
Hi,
Thank you for reaching to us.
Regarding your concerns, the expiration of your license affects certain aspects of the plugin. But it’s not the core functions. While core functionalities such as syncing, fulfilling orders, and other key features remain accessible using chrome extension manually, some advanced services – such as automatic updates and direct API integrations – require an active license to function properly.
This approach aligns with common industry practices, where extended functionalities may depend on additional service access. However, you can still use essential features of the plugin as intended.
Best regards.
Hi, is there a way we can import the reviews as well. Im looking to get this and the temu import plugin but need the reviews to be imported as well.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Product reviews are actually not imported using ALD, this plugin focuses on automating purchases and dropshipping. For reviews from AliExpress, it can be done using this plugin instead: https://villatheme.com/extensions/woocommerce-photo-reviews/
The function is in the pro version only. But please not that it only import reviews from AliExpress and Amazon. Other than the 2 platforms, you would need to use CSV file to import reviews, there’s no feature to import reviews from Temu at the moment.
Best regards.
Hi, Thank you for the response. Will check the above plugin and get back to you if I have any questions.
Chris W
Hi, I want to purchase the ALD plugin, but I’d like more information since I’ve seen the reviews and don’t quite understand. If I purchase the ALD Premium plugin, is it a monthly subscription I have to pay for? Will the premium plugin still work if I stop paying?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
All plugins on CodeCanyon (including our plugins) are single-used. Which means they can be activated only on one domain. If you need to use the plugin for 2 different projects, you would need another valid license. It’s Envato policy.
They’re also one time payment and lifetime duration – you can use/update the plugin forever. No extra fee charged.
After purchasing, you’ll have 6 months (12 months if you purchased Extended license) of free Item Support and Auto update feature. Please regard this Envato post for details.
ALD, on the other hand, has some differences. You need a valid, live Auto update key when you want the API-related and Auto update features, including Frontend Shipping, Auto update plugin, Auto sync orders, Auto update products/Manual synchronize product by API, and Auto fulfill.
The duration of an Auto update key tags along with the duration of your license Item Support. When it expired, the Access token you get will be invalid and it will return false result.
The automatic synchronization feature relies on the AliExpress API to retrieve and transfer data. This API itself has limitations, that’s why you eventually needs to get new Access token after a specific duration. All the other feature remains functioning properly without a valid key
Best regards.
I have a question. Can you change the descriptions of the items you import the items for SEO purposes?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I’m afraid we can’t, the plugin does not modify item descriptions for SEO purposes. You’ll need to edit the descriptions manually after importing.
Best regards.
@angela_grey – That’s what I meant. Can I manually change item name and description. Also, can we manually change the price instead of using the upcharge calculator?
Ah I see, yes, definitely. I thought you were asking if our plugin has option to auto edit.
You can try our free ALD for a better understanding: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-alidropship/
Can it ignore first purchase price?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I’m sorry it’s not possible at the moment. ALD can’t ignore the first purchase price. You can either adjust the pricing rules, or use the regular price instead of the sale price via the “Use regular price” option under Product Price tab.
Best regards.
Thank you, but using regular price will also alter discounted priced items too no? Would it be possible to take difference between first purchase price and discounted price and adjust separately? I’m maybe wrong here. But some items are just discounted and their regular price is the discounted price? Thank you for explaining. I just want to be able to use regular price only on first purchase priced products
There’s no way to apply the regular price only to specific items – it has to be enabled or disabled for all products. Also, which item are you referring to that has the same sale and regular price? Could you share a URL so we can check?
Hello Hi. I stopped using my plugin on one domain because it has expired and trying to use it on another but is is not working.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We can help remove the domain from the key activation. Please create a support ticket on this Support Forum.
Best regards.
What’s the url for the changelog? I click changelog on the codecanyon page and it redirects me to more plugins. Thanks.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us. I’m sorry, we’ll check that redirection issue.
For the change log, from the link you’re redirected to, you’ll find the tab here: https://snipboard.io/6DGzEs.jpg
Best regards.
Hello. I just purchased a second license for a second site I am setting up. What I am noticing during this is that the markup pricing does not seem to be working properly. I have it set to calculate the price of shipping before marking up the price and it is ignoring the shipping total altogether. Example… for items I have it set to mark up 65% for items between $0 and $20. I have set to round to .99 after price calculated. I have a product that is $3.75 and shipping is $1.99. It end calculates to $8.99. It is like using formula 3.75 + 65% = 6.18 + 1.99 = 8.17, then rounding up to 8.99. It should be 3.75 + 1.99 = 5.74 + 65% = 9.47 and then mark up to 9.99. This is just with small priced items for an easy example. This isn’t what is described. Some items on ali are priced low, but with higher shipping obviously for them to profit on shipping end, as should be the case on the site end as well. I don’t think this was happening on my other site, but I haven’t added products since the last update, nor checked synched products since I started working on the new site. Any ideas what may be causing this?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you check again these two option: https://snipboard.io/8Axhdc.jpg
Please enable Show shipping option
Best regards.
Hello. Both of those options have been enabled since I installed it. Both ‘Use global attributes’ and ‘Show shipping options’ are in the ON position.
Then, please try disabling “Add shipping cost after price rules”
If the ‘show shipping option’ is enabled, it hides the ‘add shipping costs after price rules’ toggle. It is disabled anyway. With ‘show shipping options’ disabled, and ‘after p[rice rules’ disabled, it no longer shows me the shipping cost when importing, and still doesn’t calculate correctly. Making sure the toggle is off for ‘add shipping cost after price rules’ before enabling ‘show shipping’ still produces incorrect calculations. No combination of these has allowed the combined cost of item + shipping to be added and THEN the markup applied. i checked my other (first) site as well, and this occurs there with imported products now as well. In any event, when importing, I should be able to see the sipping, = item cost, and those combined are what should have the % markup applied. Getting just a little frustrated. Oh boy.
UPDATE I think i have it right now. How? Not even quite sure, it just seems to be calculating right at this point. I must be an old guy… I remember when softwares were well documented and had case use examples… lol.
Thank you for keeping me updated. We’ll also improve our documentation in the future. Glad to hear you sorted it out.
can this import 100,000 – 1m products and i also notice the update with dokan i asked a while ago thank you for adding it could you tell me abit more on how it works ?
also feature request openai to shorten and rewrite product title and rewrite product description
automatically so we can do them in bulk
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For our plugin, there’s no limit how many items can be imported. As a note, for importing about 100k – 1m products, the sync/import process may take longer depending on how your server handles the operation.
For now, there’s no AI integration at the moment. We’ll take it into consideration though.
Best regards.
As for Dokan, you can read more of our integration in this documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/aliexpress-dropshipping-and-fulfillment-for-woocommerce/#set_up_child_menu_7311
Hi im trying to import products and im using the chrome extension in 3 months ive managed to import 6000 its pretty time consuming as i can oly import 60 at a time then going to impot list to add them to a category before publishing them is there a way to make it faster as said before i want to import 100k – 1m products, can i do that automatically so just let it run in the background or csv or something its time consuming to do it little by little please help
Hi,
I’m sorry we don’t have other way to import or automate the process as you need. The only bulk importation we can use is importing 60 items per category page.
Hi please add csv import option so we feed csv to the plugin the plugin looks for the coresponding id or product url and then import it, muh easier than 60 at a time similar to ali2woo
Hi. We don’t have CSV feature within ALD at the moment. But do you have any documentation about this feature in other similar plugin? If yes, could you share with us? I’ll see what I can do. Thanks.
Hello I updated my license. But it’s still expired. Can you check it plz
NVM. Now it’s ok:)
My plugin stopped working me matter what domain i try to use.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please specify the issue you’re facing with some screenshots?
Best regards.
Can we import the products from alidropship plugin, just want to know
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, it’s possible. In the premium plugin, we have a feature called Migrate Products feature. You can read more details in this documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/aliexpress-dropshipping-and-fulfillment-for-woocommerce/#set_up_child_menu_7182
Best regards.
