Regarding audiobooks and podcasts, it’s hard to say, depends on your exact requirements. You can take a look on the demo site to see if it meets your needs.
I’ve seen changes in the song search engine. You have to write the bands as is, if they have accents or capital letters. Can this be changed for a future update?

Im in your demo site (https://bemusic.1.vebto.com/) and it doesnt appear there is a dedicated Artists page where you can view all the local artists. I then went into the backend to see if it could be done via channels, and nothing was glaringly obvious. Can we create a Page showing all the artists alphabetically, and when click their name, go to their music page? How to do in demo?

You can create a new channel and in content settings select “artist” as type and “list all content of specified type” as content, that will show all available artists.

I’m using the latest version of Bemusic v3.1.3, downloaded on March 13th in a new clean install, and after following the steps indicated in the documentation, it is impossible to upload MP3 tracks or images to ‘Backblaze’. When adding the credentials, everything is fine. But when I add content, nothing is uploaded to Backblaze.
Is the documentation up to date? Is there any missing information on how to integrate?
I’ve been trying all possible combinations for two days and it’s impossible. Is there a bug?

You will need to set backblaze bucket as public, if using it for image uploads, otherwise uploaded images will not be visible.

Can’t private buckets be used so that no one can access and download the mp3s? That’s what I thought the key and other credentials were used for, and that it could only be played on the web.
Couldn’t the integration be changed to work like that?
Private bucket can be used for music, but backblaze does not allow having public and private files in the same bucket, everything needs to be either private or public. We should have an option to connect different bucket for images with next update though.
I hope it will be soon, as I have a project to redo with the original license I acquired from “Bemusic” and I have to acquire another one for a new project, and in both I need the MP3s to be private in “Backblaze” and not accessible even if you have the direct URL.
That said, regardless of the images, currently in a private container the MP3s are not uploaded to “Backblaze”, and if I manually upload them they will not play in the “Bemusic” player.
I hope that very soon you will make that update, I need it to be able to continue with the projects.

Are mp3s uploaded properly if you make the bucket public?

If the ‘bucket’ is public, both the mp3 and the images are uploaded correctly and the player plays correctly and the images are displayed on the web. The problem is that if someone accesses the url of the mp3, they can download it, and for security and privacy reasons this should not be the case.
But if the bucket is private, both mp3s and images are sometimes uploaded and sometimes not uploaded to Backblaze. If it is private and the mp3 is uploaded, the audio cannot be played in the player. The good thing is that if someone gets to the url of the mp3 they can’t download it (and that’s what I want). I don’t mind if the images can be accessed or not (although it would be nice if they couldn’t be downloaded, but it’s not a priority), although it’s also true that if the ‘bucket’ is private, the images are not shown on the web, and that’s a problem.
Ideally, if the bucket is private, both mp3s and images can be uploaded and only accessible from the web, but if someone obtains the direct URLs of the files, they cannot download them (that’s what private buckets are for’, although I understand that if you have the private key offered by the service, you could have access to these files to show them, in the case of images, or play them in the case of MP3s, right?)
I think that should be the right way to work.
I misunderstood your questions earlier. The only way to make this work would be to generate a temporary url to the file on backblaze any time a user plays a track, this would affect playback performance though.
There’s no built-in way to do this currently, but it’s something we’re looking into adding with a future update.
Another option would be to use the DRM functionality on HLS or DASH streams.
i am loking to achieve something like this if you coiuld guide me how example root folder 1. has 10 sub folder and each sub folders have a 20 – 30 audi files this is for prayers like if we take main root as common prayers, sub folders will have 1o sub cateory then choose the sub catergory to play 1 – 2 – 3 / 1.1.3

There’s no built-in folder functionality in the player interface currently. You could use album for this, but they can’t be nested.
I just updated my website version, and everything works fine except when new users log in; it takes them to a 404 page or 403 forbidden. How do I fix this? I have configured the homepage several times, but nothing is changing.

You can give permissions to upload music to specific users or roles from admin area.
everything perfect, last question – if a user uploaded music then his username will be shown as artist or user? i.e- user is not a singer, he is a music producer.
You can enable backstage functionality from settings page. This way user will need to request access to become and artist or manage a specific artist on the site, then music uploaded by that user would be attached to the artist.
If permissions to upload music are give to user directly, when they will need to select an existing artist on the site to which that track/album will be attached.

Yes. Anything that can be done on the BeMusic side you can do via API as well.
I found the API for searches, but I can’t find any documentation for playbacks.
You can open browser developer tools in the browser, then network tab and navigate to the page you want. You should be able to see which API methods were called in the network tab and use the same ones when calling API.
Because I need to configure an external platform where it will be played through its BeMusic API, but I didn’t find anything in the API about playback, only the search topic.
Do you mean you want to get source to the track via API and play it on another site? If so, there should be a “src” property on track objects returned from API.

Hello. When setting up the guest role, I realize that even if I remove music playback permissions, the guest can still play music. The same thing happens for other types of users. Even if I remove permissions, they can still play music. Do you know if I’m doing something wrong or what’s causing this? Thank you.

Perhaps there’s a free plan in “admin > plans” page that has this permission. Users would inherit all permissions from free plan and guest role.
The playback issue for free users has been resolved. However, for the guest role, music continues to play even if I remove permissions for this in both the plan and the role.

I was looking at the website demo before making the purchase to be sure. I want to translate my site into Spanish and I’ve found almost all the text translatable, but the registration and account creation pages are only in English and there are no translation strings. For example, “Create a new account” isn’t available for translation. What could be done in these cases? I really couldn’t have the website in Spanish and these pages in English; it would look unprofessional.

You can use “add new translation” button from “admin > translations” page to add a new translation, if it does not exist already. Any text that is visible on the site can be translated this way.
I want to see if I understood, if I buy the script, install it, create a Spanish language, translate everything, but for example the login page in the text “Sign in to your account” that is not in the Spanish phrases to translate, will I have to click on the “Add new” option and add the text there or how? Sorry, I want to be sure that I will translate everything before making the payment. Sorry.
I entered the demo of BeDrive, another of your products, and in the translation of that script, the texts to translate the login do appear, but in the BeMusic demo, they don’t, and that worries me.
That is correct. You can translate any text, even if it is not available by default in translations page. That particular line should be visible on new installation though, on demo site some lines might be deleted by other people viewing the demo.
