I am attempting to install the Revolution Slider portion of plugin for my directory and have successfully downloaded it. However, when I try to upload it via the WordPress dashboard, I encounter an error stating that the installation has failed. I have consulted the documentation but did not find relevant information to resolve this issue.
Could you please clarify if I can use an alternative slider, or is Revolution Slider a requirement for this theme? Additionally, I would appreciate confirmation on whether the Elementor Pro version is mandatory, or can I still effectively utilize my theme with the free version of Elementor?

I understand that an alternative slider is acceptable, but the main reason I purchased this theme was for the full set of features, including the Revolution Slider. If I’m being told that I need to find workarounds or alternatives for features that should already be working, I feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth. In that case, I’d appreciate it if we could discuss either getting everything functioning as advertised or a refund, as I paid for all the features and functionality that were promised.
Additionally, I’m still having trouble with the home page hero search panel, even when using an alternative slider. I’ve tried using the “customize search” feature along with Elementor elements, but I can’t seem to replicate the clean, slick search bar from the demo. Do I need to use Contact Form 7, or is there something I missed to get the simple search bar on the home page? I also noticed that this component was missing from the demo import, so any guidance on the shortcode or other ways to get it set up would be really helpful.
I’m hopeful we can resolve these issues soon, as I’m eager to move forward with the project. If not, I’ll need to request a refund and explore other options that provide all the advertised features.

and it’s really concerning that you’re suggesting a slider as an alternative that literally charges for all the features we were supposed to get with the Revolution Slider that was supposed to come with the purchase of this Directory Pro theme. Why suggest we pay extra for features that should already be included with what we’ve already purchased?

first congrats for this beautifful plugin… i try to configure it with a woocommerce website (in a wordpress multisite too)... and i don’t understand the process when a client want to CLAIM an establishment… i don’t find any element in the documentation on this process, should it buy the products before claim ? how to validate the claim ? all my test not work. please help. cheers from france . nicolas
Anyone can claim a listing on the site. Once a claim is submitted, the site admin will receive an email notification. The admin can then review and approve the claim by updating the listing author in the back-end under the “Listings -> Edit” page. Once approved, the user will gain access to the claimed listing on their “My Account” page in the front-end.

I found where to upload, but your system doesn’t work very well. I purchased through elements.envato.com. I used your CSV template, and the system only uploaded the first entry and ignored the entire rest of the CSV file. It also didn’t import the listing’s address, I did map it when your system gave the options. When I go to the directory to view the entry, nothing happens when I click on it. You can’t view the details; it stays on the search page. Your out-of-date directions and your system are getting very frustrating. Help would be appreciated.

i just bought your plugin and have made several categories with listings in them.

No listings show.
But if i go to: https://xn--billigehndvrkere-kobv.dk/virksomhedsopslag/
Which has the shortcode i can see the listings.
I use Avada theme by the way

I have a suggestion for an evolution of the rights to manage directories in your plugin, which right now is reserved for admins with “manage-options” rights. Would it be possible to change this in a next version to allow access for editors of the site too ? It would allow for a more flexible use of your plugin that way ! (file seems to be in admin/admin.php > function admin_menu() line 189). I will modify this for our use, but it would be great to have an option for this and still be able to upgrade easily ; ) Best regards,

I did try this, but had to resort to use another plugin to hide all the technical options to non-admins with “manage-options” rights. I’m a partisan of “less is more” regarding wordpress plugins on a site, so I didn’t go this route, but anyway, it was just a suggestion ; )
Another suggestion for ease-of-use by end clients would be to be able to modify the “contact info” tab straight the first time one edits the listing. Right now, one has to save the listing a first time before being able to edit the contact info through “New info input”, which takes extra time and manipulations. But I get where it comes from in your logic, and I’m using your plugin in a different way than expected, so…

Problem: I have website using WPML as multi-language plugin with Directory Pro. It was working perfectly until recently, it has some strange:
When I am loading the page with Directory display: [listing_layout_style_4]
