Howdy, I first want to say the features of Treweler are absolutely incredible! As a mountaineering adventurer, the Mount Everest example is perfect.

I’d like to voice interest in either frontend submission or a way for site author’s to be able to create maps. This would allow communities (BuddyPress, PeepSo, Ultimate Member, and many more) to use Treweler to collaborate maps! Many more maps would be generated as a result, aiding navigation, showcasing, and be a lot of fun for everyone. A few more folks here who expressed interest:

I love the ability to open a lightbox of images for a single location. It would make navigation even better if it supported left/right key arrow navigation. The ability to zoom into each image would be an amazing experience.

Bravo on the work you’ve done here. Warm regards, Josh

Hello Josh,

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We truly appreciate it!

Regarding your suggestion on collaborative map creation, we’re pleased to let you know that we offer the Treweler Marker Submission Addon, which allows users to submit markers directly from the frontend. https://codecanyon.net/item/treweler-marker-submission-addon/57276573

We’ve also noted your excellent suggestions about lightbox navigation using arrow keys and image zoom functionality. These are great ideas, and we’ll certainly consider them for future updates.

Thanks again for your interest and for taking the time to share your ideas!

Hello, do you have a link to explain how to use the 3D GL JS mapbox style with your plugin please ? Thanks

Thank you. This, i knew how to do it. I am talking about the 3D design of the map? Where you can see buildings in 3D on the side and not over it

Hello!

To be able to rotate or tilt the map, you need to enable these settings in the map’s Pitch & Bearing setting section. There, you can also set default values for when the map loads. You can rotate and tilt the map by holding and moving the right mouse button.

You can also enable the Zoom & Pan control, which allows you to zoom the map and also change its Pitch and Bearing.

More details can be found in the documentation.

Hope it will help!

Thank you so much

Congratulations! Pre sale question: do you have a sugestion/showcase/example about homepage use you plugin?

Thank you for your interest and congratulations!

You can find examples of how the Treweler plugin can be used by visiting our demo site https://treweler.com

There, you will see various demos showcasing the features and possibilities of the plugin.

Hello, I would like to make two suggestions 1. The marked pop-up window can be centered on the map. If there is a lot of content in the pop-up window, it will be more comfortable on the small screen of the mobile phone, like this effect https://wpmaps.mapster.me/examples/mapster-wp-map/sample-centered-popup/ The Fixed Popup Position function does not meet my expectations. 2. Add mapbox-gl-style-switcher ( https://github.com/el/style-switcher ) to the control so that different styles can be switched in the same map. Example https://prnt.sc/A0a-IqWiQLn5

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestions!

Yes, we are planning to implement automatic centering of the marker, with the popup height in mind, especially to improve the experience on smaller screens. We’re also considering support for switching between multiple map styles.

We’re constantly expanding the plugin’s capabilities based on our priorities and user feedback, so your input is much appreciated.

Stay tuned for updates!

Pre-purchase question: Regarding the real estate project, is it possible to show the marker sign as the price?

Also, it would be nice if the image gallery was multi gallery and full screen. When I say multi, I mean image, video, iframe virtual tour etc. It would be nice if when you move with the arrows at the bottom right, both the images, video and virtual tour could be full screen (of course there will be a close button at the top right). Can you do this with customization, when I buy it?

Wouldn’t it be nice if a pop-up window opened when you clicked on the Link Copy field, and a short link appeared instead of the long link in the address bar, and social media sharing buttons appeared in this window?

At the moment, this functionality is not available. We appreciate your input and will include it in our development roadmap.

Thank you for your suggestion!

You’re welcome If you get support from ChatGPT or Claude, you can update it in a short time.

Hello, pre-sale questions: can I easily create guided routes with points of interest? can I create many maps? thanks

Hello!

Yes, you can create routes as well as place individual markers to highlight points of interest.

Here are some examples of maps with this functionality: https://treweler.com/demo-maps/everest-south-col-route/ https://treweler.com/demo-maps/madrid-bus-tour/

There are no limits on the number of maps, routes, or markers that can be created.

Let us know if any other questions arise!

Thank you!

Hi, I bought the plugin, can you tell me the instructions to make a map with route and points of interest? Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for purchasing the Treweler plugin!

It appears that you’ve already reached out to our support team, and we’ve responded to your inquiry.

The plugin includes detailed documentation covering all settings, including instructions for adding markers. You can find the documentation in the ‘docs’ folder within the plugin archive.

Please contact our support team using the link below if you have any difficulties or need further assistance. https://codecanyon.net/item/treweler-advanced-mapbox-maps-builder-plugin-for-wordpress/34662374/support

Thank you!

Do I have to use Mapbox or can I use pure OSM? Mapbox gets super expensive after 50k!

Hello,

Thank you for your question!

Treweler currently works only with Mapbox maps, so using OSM is not an option. While we understand cost question, the 50k limit is actually a strong offer from Mapbox for many projects.

Does your plugin support wpml?

Hello,

Currently, we have not tested the compatibility of the WPML plugin with Treweler, so we do not officially support it at this time.

However, we have plans to explore this compatibility and determine how soon we can implement support.

Stay tuned for updates!

Thank you!

Hi! Nice plugin! How is possible realize same styles as your maps examples? There is a step by step guide, since you dont provide any demo data or sample codes to use? For examples how recreate a pop up like “disentis-village” (without borders and lower arrow) or a full screen map like “real-estate-locator”? Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback!

While we do not include demo maps with the plugin, the documentation provides detailed explanations of all settings and includes a Quick Start Guide to assist you in getting started.

If you are still using one of the older versions of the plugin, please download the latest version so that you have an updated version of the documentation.

The popup border as well as the bottom arrow have been removed in the latest versions of the plugin. Please update to the latest version of the plugin to get updated styles and many other new features.

A detailed description of how to create a full-screen map is described in the “Embedding as a Full-Screen Map” section of the documentation.

If you need further assistance, feel free to create a support ticket, and we’ll be happy to guide you!

Thank you!

Hello! Quick question. In my case I want to get data (address) from Gravity Forms to show on map using your plugin. Is it possible? I’ve seen you got Google Sheets integration. So if I upload data from Gravity Forms to my google Sheet that is connected to your plugin, it might be working solution? Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for your question!

Yes, it is possible to create a custom field in the plugin and export address information from Google Sheets to display the address in the marker popup or store locator panel. If you upload data from Gravity Forms to your Google Sheet, which is connected to the plugin, it will work as a solution for displaying the addresses on the map.

Hello, I looked in the documentation and previous comments, are there plans to make the routes clickable and displayed in the sidebar in the near future? Thank you very much, have a great day!

Hello,

Thank you for your question!

Yes, we do have this feature on our roadmap. Unfortunately, we can’t provide an exact release date at the moment, but we will make every effort to include this solution in one of the upcoming plugin versions.

Please stay tuned for updates!

Thanks so much for your response, I’ll be watching for updates to jump on it as soon as it’s available haha, have a great day!

Hello, after setting the language, all other styles of maps are displayed normally, but the standard style maps are all in English. No matter which language I choose, it doesn’t work. The language attribute does not take effect https://prnt.sc/Z5W0U2rQIoSt

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and providing the details!

We have looked into the issue you reported.

Mapbox uses a different method to display languages for the Standard style, which is causing the language setting to not take effect as expected in this case. We are currently investigating this further and will aim to release a fix in the next plugin version.

Thank you!

Hello, thanks for your reply. In addition to the language attribute, I wonder if subsequent maps can support the worldview attribute? Thank you!

Thanks for the idea. We will consider adding this feature as well.

Hello, I wonder if the Boundaries function of the map can refer to Mapbox Boundary Resource Management ( https://demos.mapbox.com/boundaries-explorer/ ). Countries/regions are loaded using the ISO code method, and the boundary lines are more accurate, so there is no need to introduce many large and bloated files such as world-very-high.json. At present, if the region of Boundaries is selected as the world, it can only locate the country, and the region of the corresponding country cannot be selected. If you want to select a state or city, you can only display that country, which is very inflexible. For example, if I want to make a map that lights up the city, I can’t select New York in the United States, Paris in France, London in the United Kingdom, etc. at the same time. It would be great if I could add each city to the map separately. Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for your question!

The Boundaries functionality you are referring to is not based on the Mapbox Boundaries. It is our own custom feature, designed independently from Mapbox’s Boundary Tilesets.

Mapbox Boundaries has a number of access restrictions that prevent us from integrating it into the plugin at this time. As a result, we have to rely on our own boundaries feature for now.

Hi, the video integration is interesting, very useful. However, I hope that the popup window will be fixed as soon as possible (as @dongyuwei pointed out), it doesn’t look good, so it’s not possible to use this feature properly. But I’m sure a fix will come soon :)

P.s. I tried modifying some css, but to no avail :(

.twer-popup-image-no.twer-popup-button-no .twer-popup-inner { padding-bottom: 2px !important; }

.twer-popup—image-no .twer-popup-inner { padding: 1px 1px !important; }

.mapboxgl-popup-content { background: #fff; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 1px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, .1); padding: 1px 1px 1px !important; pointer-events: auto; position: relative; }

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback!

We will carefully review all your comments and, where appropriate, implement the suggested changes in future versions of the plugin.

Hello Alexey,

I’m glad to see that you have released a new version. Now it is very smooth even with a large number of markers. I tried to contact your email support@treweler.com, but Gmail prompted that the email account does not exist. I would like to make a few small suggestions for your reference.

1. With the arrival of Standard Style, the map has more 3D functions. I hope to add a control button to switch 3D, as shown in the figure: https://prnt.sc/o3M6FUONpjBe

2. Mapbox has a very rich map style. I hope to add a style selector toggle button so that I can add several styles I like in one map, as shown in the figure: https://prnt.sc/DNiaGwXNwy2-

3. In the new Treweler, the map can generate a separate GeoJSON source, but the in-clusters.geojson file does not seem to be compressed during the transmission process, as shown in the figure: https://prnt.sc/t_0T2R-Nx8yW

The cards.json file was compressed from 2.11MB to 35.80KB, the popups.json file was compressed from 2.87MB to 41.30KB, and the in-clusters.geojson file was compressed from 894.90KB to 895.17KB, and it was not compressed. I wonder if this file can also be compressed to reduce the network transmission time.

4. I found that in the introduction of the new version, Custom Field supports video. I imitated the short code of audio and added a video short code, [v-i-d-e-o mp4=”https://xxx.com/demo.mp4”][-/-v-i-d-e-o] (Avoid short codes from being transcoded by codecanyon). The css of video width and height seem to be fixed. When I add a vertical video, it is normal, but in the horizontal video, there will be a large blank space above and below. I hope it can be fixed, as shown in the figure: https://prnt.sc/8MATmQpoRzXY

Thank you!

Hello,

To solve the issue with vertical padding for videos, please use the following shortcode for the Custom HTML field

and also add the following CSS code to the Advanced CSS field

.twer-custom-field-html video.wp-video-shortcode { height: 100%; }

We will add this improvement in the next versions of the plugin.

Hope it will help!

igual me pasa a mi que no puedo adjuntar un shape a un mapa

Is it possible to add to the custom fields a copy to clipboard button like “[copy_clipboard button_text=”Copy This!”]This is the text to copy.[/copy_clipboard]”

Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t currently include a custom field with a copy-to-clipboard button, as this is quite a specific functionality. However, we do offer a wide range of other custom field types that should fit most requirements, and we’re continually expanding these options to meet user needs.

Hi!

We were waiting for the import functionality, very happy it’s here. Just wondering if it is possible to populate the long/latitude automatically based on the address? Or does this needs to be done manually?

Thanks, Steff

Hello Steff,

We’re glad you’re happy with the import functionality.

The plugin does not support automatic addition of latitude and longitude based on address, they must be added manually.

Thanks!

hi, in Spreadsheet the image field if I enter an absolute address like “https://mysite.com/image.png” the image is not displayed on the map. Can only images in ”/wp-content/uploads/...” be seen? How can I recall images external to the site? Thank you

Hello,

In order for the imported images to be displayed on your map, they need to be uploaded through the standard WordPress media library.

When you enter an absolute address like “https://mysite.com/image.png”, the image will not display on the map because it is not within the WordPress media library’s managed directory “/wp-content/uploads/...”.

Thanks!

Thank you for your response. I was wondering if this limitation is due to WordPress itself or the way the plugin was configured. Unfortunately, the hosting environment where WordPress is running has limited HD space. It would be helpful if there was an option to reference images from a different server.

Unfortunately, using images from other servers for the marker gallery is not possible due to the specifics of WordPress and the related functionality of the plugin.

Hello, it is possible to load a GPX file and view the route in 3D in addition to adding points of interest. Thank you?

Hello,

Thank you for your question!

You can import your GPX file as a route and add it to one of the Mapbox map styles that feature 3D terrain.

https://treweler.com/features/gpx-routes-import/ https://treweler.com/map-styles/treweler-terrain-3d/

Hope it will help!
