Simple POS can have stores features, you can add stores as you need. All the data like products are system levels means should be available in all stores. However quantity is tracked separately for each store.

No, a normal computer/laptop should be find for local installation. To install web app on computer, you will need web platform like wamp, xampp, mamp or eacyphp.

You can use any print that support printing using web browser.

No, you will need to modify the item code to get the desired results. You can try the live demo to get familiar with current feature list.

No, it doesn’t have accounting features

You will have all the records and can refer to them as you need. However bulk receipts are not there but you can export the reports.

Yes, but you should be familiar with web platforms or server to manage installation. If you have perform Laravel installation before then it should be fine. If you don’t understand any step, please ask at support portal and we will explain further.

You can add products and services as you need.

It’s single language solution. However for input you can type in any language as you want.

Hello, I apologize for seeming nagging. My customer is complaining about the new system, which does not print the PAID AMOUNT and THE BALANCE on the receipt. Must I pay an amount to get the paid amount back as it was showing on the older version?

If that’s the case, I believe the old version is more suitable for a standard retail shop. A receipt that shows both the paid amount and the change given is essential.
Can the recent changes regarding fractions be applied to the old version? I need to revert to it because the new version does not fulfil retail requirements without properly displaying the change and paid amount on the receipt.

No, the .env file can’t be uploaded as it’s contains the data only reload to the installation and can never shared with anyone else unless you trust them.

The new version does not display the PAID & CHANGE on the printed receipt, while the old version does. How much would it cost to add that information to the receipt as seen in the old version? why did you remove it ??

New System Bug: I added a product priced at 89.00, with a total weight of 1.225 for testing. The total should calculate as 109.03, but the system is showing 109.47 instead. You might think it works fine if you adjust the decimals, as it seems correct once. However, after refreshing the page or logging in and out, it will continue to display 109.47.
Old Version Bug: The payment page doesn’t process correctly when the amount to be paid exactly matches the total amount. This issue has existed for a while, so we’ve had to add a small amount to make it work. For example, if the total is 106.25, we have to say it’s 110.00 for the transaction to go through, and then we give the customer the change even if the are was no change. If the customer pays the exact total, it won’t process properly.

Additionally, the system gets stuck and requires you to manually select a customer, even when a walk-in customer is already selected. Hello, I just purchased simplePOS and have a lot of stuff setup. I am trying to send customer’s their receipt, however everytime it goes to their spam folder. I have other emails coming from where simplePOS is hosted and they reach customer inbox fine. Any idea what could be causing this in simplePOS? Both using the same SMTP credentials.
Are you using the same email address? There could be so many reasons that email is going to spam. The v4 use php mailer while v5 use laravel mail to send emails. Thanks
