any plan to add contabo in this script, I see that you refer other script which is not available here.!
Hi, there’s no plans currently to support Contabo in uCloud. You may be able to follow the guidance for Wasabi (linked on the item description) and adapt it to integrate with Contabo, they’re S3 compatible aswell.

The files aren’t encrypted, but you’ll need the database to access them.

I remain of the humble opinion that, at first, it looks beautiful and excellent, but when managing thousands of files and trying to restore them, it takes a long time, over 24 hours, and then you encounter problems with the files, seeing them as corrupt.

Everything worked fine until I had to switch from CentOS 7 to Rocky Linux 9. From here, the problems started. The files in folder /files appear to be corrupted.

For shared folders cant we have an option where both the users can create folders and add files. Currently they can upload files but not create folders, which is restrictive. Or is there a way to achieve this?
Hi, there’s not currently a way to achieve this, although I’ve added it to the RFCs for review on the next release.

Hi, do you mean users can upload and not download? All download URLs are via the site, so users won’t see direct URLs.

It doesn’t really work like that. You enable users to have an account via the script, so they can upload files. Their files are uploaded to a common storage area, so you’ll only configure 1 S3 bucket via the back end. Users don’t see each others files as the script handles access control. So users can upload files which only they can access. There’s no option to disable downloading of their own files.
uCloud doesn’t support Backblaze as-is, so you’d need to make changes to the script to support this. We do however have another script called Yetishare which has a separate Backblaze plugin available. It’s not on this site, however if you search Google for Yetishare you’ll find it.

The script will need to run on a Linux server on some kind, as Windows doesn’t handle file paths the same, it’s mentioned in the requirements on the description. You have a few options though – download VirtualBox and install Ubuntu, along with Apache, PHP etc. Alternatively, download Docker Desktop and run an Apache/PHP image.

Hello, I have installed XAMPP on Linux.
But after a successful installation, when I type the address: http://192.168.0.227/ucloud/index.phpIt always redirects back to http://192.168.0.227/dashboard/ (the XAMPP dashboard page), even though I received a successful installation notification and the files are present on the server.
Also, when I access http://192.168.0.227/ucloud/app/, I can enter the folder, but only the index.php file seems to be problematic.

You have full access to the script source code so you could make the changes (or another PHP developer). It’s not something we’d be able to do currently.
