Hi There,
I am trying to understand this module usually emails are stored in the local server alongside any attachments. Does this module store attachments like photos and documents and the whole email itself on the local database? Isn’t that super inefficient? I understand certain things like labelling might be stored on the local database but haven’t heard of emails and attachments being stored on it before.
Or am I understanding it incorrectly?

Our module will store local copies of your unread IMAP emails, along with attachments, yes.
If thats efficient or no, depends on your business needs and flow. It currently helps more than 1.5k businesses who have purchased our module.
is it supporting email tracking futures?
This is not marketing product – Its purpose is to bring your Inbox within CRM’s dashboard, so the answer is no, this is not something we currently have implemented but we are positive in adding in a future release.

we only need CRM inside the company (self-hosted) to manage customers, send/ receive emails, and followup options. we have 15 team members
tracking email opens futures available on all other CRM platforms. i hope your mailbox plugin is also supporting.

You need remove the files from the current installation, in order to avoid license lock during activation under a new instance/domain.
Once you do so from the old URL, please use the Licensing Flush tool ( its link can be found on the bottom left of New Ticket Creation link: https://themesic.com/support/ticket/new ), in order to have your license resetted through Envato Licensing API.
You will be able to activate the license at the new instance now, but please ensure that it is not active in any other instances, as that will trigger a new license lock.
I am currently utilizing the “Mailbox – Webmail based e-mail client module for Perfex CRM” and have encountered challenges integrating it with Office 365 due to Microsoft’s transition to OAuth 2.0 authentication protocols. Given that Basic Authentication is being deprecated, I kindly request the development team to consider updating the module to support OAuth 2.0 for Office 365 accounts. This enhancement would enable seamless and secure email integration, aligning with current authentication standards and ensuring continued functionality for users relying on Office 365 services.

The company where I work acquired this module but they have never uploaded the emails to the tray, they can be sent, but the received ones are not shown, any tips to solve it

If I have more folders in the mail or webmail, will it also show me or will it only show me the inbox and outbox, etc.
You can change the folder’s name to be monitored from the settings of our module. You can monitor a single folder per account.

Our module monitors the Inbox folder (single one) by default.

When I click on reset the keys license I am getting this trojan/spam message its not resetting license and I can’t open a ticket

Mailbox is tied to the email address of the staff member’s account – which is unique and only one.
Hi team Why can’t we change the IMAP settings, We want for all our staff to receive email from “support email” but instate they are getting email from there own mailbox, Why is this restriction, we were waiting for an update, thought you will fixed it, we saw other people already mentioned it.

Not a ready pack – but we support Dutch language, you can translate the terms of the module.
Google Workspace no longer supports imap connections to LSA. Are you planning to integrate OAuth 2.0 for Google Workspace on your module?
This is something that we havent considered yet, but it might be added in a future release.
Does it work with Google Workspace?
Our module uses IMAP email accounts to fetch emails, no matter of the service. If your service provides IMAP user/password based access, it will be fine.
Every 6 to 7 months, the module stops working. I have checked with the PHP script, and the IMAP is working fine. I have raised a support ticket, so please check. re-open the same. However, the developer team should create a tab or a page to display the debugging/log information to identify why it is unable to fetch emails.
Sounds like a weird technical issue and your SMTP server might be involved in it – please consider working things with the support team. That shall not happen.
MY DEVELOPER HAS ADDED A PHP SCRIPT THAT SHOWS THE LAST 10 EMAILS. ARE BEING FETCH WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. BUT WEBMAIL DOESN’T FETCH EMAIL.
It shall work just fine (the same way it does for other customers), unless issues occur at your local installation.

Please add to the backlog for IMAP testing. Most people are unable to understand the issue. Each time a setting is changed, we have to wait at least 3 minutes to see if it’s working properly or not.

It’s been 2 years and I still cant get this addon to work.
If you lookup my previous comment, you’ll realize I even bought a VPS to see if that would change anything. I didn’t. It’s no fetching the emails no matter what I tried.
The regular Perfex is able to fetch my support ticket emails but this module is unable to fetch my emails. Same exact setting. The only difference is that with this, I can’t manually set the ports.
These are the same emails I have configured, in outlook and Thunderbird email clients, even my Gmail App I have these emails configured, works perfectly fine everywhere except with this app.
You can set the type of encryption in the settings and the respective port will be used. But I see – you are facing configuration issues that need to be checked and resolved by our engineers.

if IMAP emails are emptied in inbox, will the emails stays in webmail CRM?
Yes, our module grabs a copy of the unread emails and stores them in the local database.
