Is there any way to show specific contacts/leads email conversation under lead/account details inside perfex without searching in plugins inbox?
Searchbox is supposed to be there just for the same. Mailbox is not connecting your existing models with its own, in order to avoid possible conflicts.
Do you have demo site we can have preview this plugin? And it one account for all people? or admin can config IMAP for each staff? (Or staff need config IMAP one by one them self)?
A demo is not possible, as the module connects with the IMAP server of the respective email account.
You can have separate IMAP accounts, one for each staff member. Each member must set his email password in the settings – his email is being automatically pulled from the log in email of the admin area.
Is possible setup is control by admin, and staff only can read the email?
Each staff member has his/her own email account (tied to his/her email address used for log in, in Perfex CRM admin backend).
I meaning due to permission or easy control.. only allow admin to config for each staff, but staff was can not config it. just can read mail. Does it possible?
You can log in through each staff member’s account and do the needed changes once if you want to configure their accounts for ease. The way that our module works is by separatign each staff member with his/her own mailbox (and its settings)
But with this flow. the staff can change the mail setting to wrong. or see the imap setting info.

So the imap server and port that is setup globally by admin?
So, once the staff setup his email account name in your image is ”???@gmail.com”, he can not change it?
Or it was setup by admin?
Your account’s email address is supposed to be your corporate one.
ie. firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com
This doesnt mean that you cannot work with a gmail account. Our module is 100% compatible with gmail and other email services who support IMAP inbox connections.
The email address used for Mailbox is the same email address you use to log into the admin area of Perfex (pulled from your profile).
Some mail server login username is full like email address, but some mail server login username is just first part, like mike or hele. So how to control this?
The email used with mailbox, is the email field value assigned to profile. Make sure that this is not empty, and you will be fine.
this script doesn’t handle long email message: the users can send short messages it will work, but not in an environment where long mails are been sent, it will fail without giving any error, the receiver will not get any message. so you guys really need to work on it, if not the this script is only good at viewing mail in plain text only
I suggest that you dont mislead information.
In order to protect inner CRM dashboard from malware, HTML is disabled on purpose.
If you understand the risks, raise a support ticket and ask support guys to help you by indicating the place where this restriction occurs on purpose, so you can lift it.
This module works really fine, no matter if you send long or short emails, the same way it works for more than 500 purchasers.
If you face any issue at your local installation, open up a support ticket and have support team work on your local copy.
Is it possible to integrated this module to associate with customers. Sample ” If I open customer info able to see sent and received emails”.
This module is not connected to other parts of the CRM in order to avoid potential conflicts, but you can always extend its functionality and connect it with the respective parts according to your specific needs.
after I delete all emails in my inbox it still shows that I have 458 emails on the inbox menu in orange? there are no emails in the inbox there are 458 emails in the trash. you should show the orange number of email that are in each area like inbox 25 trash 485 not just lump it all in to a count for the inbox.
This is not a folder’s count counter – its an unread emails counter.
An unread email can be placed everywhere. Marking it as read will result in -1 in the counter’s count.
Is it possible to use different emails for one user? So user can decide from which email account the mail will be sent?
Each staff member has his/her own email account to send out and receive emails through mailbox and cannot use more than one email accounts.
Can a team member send the email to it’s currently working project and it will automatically choose the contact of the project?
Mailbox’s purpose is supposed to serve all emails from your IMAP server inside your CRM dashboard. Its not connected to any parts of the CRM, but you can implement your custom request, by applying custom development there.
mail not pulling into inbox from our server, outlook works fine, both passwords are the same, can you provide some guidance as to cause?
Not really sure whats going on there remotely, but if you open up a support ticket, guys from support will be able to troubelshoot your local case.
