Filtering ACF Problem
Hello,
I have created 9 Apartments in ACF and I am unable to make them visible. Whenever i choose type to filter i choose Apartments and i use fields that are visible in apartments create options. However when i choose post type in setting i get no wp query matches post type Apartments. When I click where to filter and i choose Apartments i have my 9 building to choose from but still no wp query matches…
I would love to get some help or even a debug tip, at this point I am just clueless.

Hi, I have stallend the plugin but now the filter is make al these URL’s whit every possible combination of the filter. In Google Search console there ar now over 35.000 Page’s. It is lowing the site down. Is there uniting we can do about that?

By default, all of the filtered pages are not indexed. There can be two options, either you have an SEO Plugin/custom code that indexes all of those pages, or crawlers simply ignore the noindex/nofollow tags and do it anyway. In this case, you might want to create a Txt file or use the firewall in order to block crawlers from indexing those pages.

Oh, i understand. I have tried to change via snippet and changing the template but the slider broke. It shows the dot in the numéric field but when the user move the slider, the number goes to zero.
It will be possible to point me a tip of what hook oe filter i need to use to get both slider and numeric field working togeter with the dot?
Well, it takes the numerical values from the inputs fields, so you would need to rewrite that as well, in order to convert the 150.000 (as 150.000 will be a string value) to the 150000 numerical value, including JS files and other logic. This is not something that can be easily done via the hooks.

If you created a taxonomy from ACF you need to create a filter from that taxonomy not from the custom field in the filter set. If you need to create a range slider for numerical custom fields, create a filter by Custom Field Numeric.

Thanks Victor, it’s fine now. Just the range is not taking the min and the max from ACF fields. What have i messed there?
Can you specify the exact ACF field meta key with numerical values that you created from the range slider? Do not forget that you need to apply on posts the values with the numbers in order to make it work, if they are empty then there will be nothing.

- Date picker (really a must have for me, if I could choose just one, that’s the guy); - Taxonomy and Post Object (those two relational fields would be great to have); - Range and Text (basic fields that would be useful for filtering as well).

The date picker field is in plans to make it work with the date range filter, as currently, it is working only with the post date.
Taxonomy is working, you create a taxonomy with the ACF and create a filter from that taxonomy in the filter set.
It is also working with the range, just keep in mind the range is two values not all values from 1 to 10..

Cannot get Filtereverything pro to work on page with loop builder.
I build a simple page with a sidebar and a spectra loop builder for a custom post type called wandelingen. Wandelingen has a taxonomy called Gebieden.
Created a filter called gebieden. – Post Type to filter : Wandelingen – Where to filter : Common wordpress pages ; Alll archive pages for this Post Type – What to filter : tried both options Wandeling query and Main query
added the filter widget to the sidebar and in the page using a shortcode
If i show the page on the site it says there is no filterset related to this page both in the side bar ( widget ) and in the header ( shortcode )
What am i doing wrong ?
I got it working using : Post Type = Wandelingen Where to Filter : Pages ; <page_name> What to filter: Wandeling Query

Yes, that is correct, if the page is not an archive page, just a singular one, then you need to choose the “Pages + name of the page” in the “Where to filter”. You did a good job!

Now i am working on my main site and when i try to enter the license key it says that it is already used on 2 sites. But it is not installed on any of my sites . What can I do ?

Dear,
I’ve installed Filter Everything PRO. I’ve adjusted the settings and made it clear that i want to filter posts on every possible post page.
Now i’m back at building my website. I work on a C directory with WooCommerce and Elementor. I choose a box on the left side, on the right side I have this Loop Grid with productus. I’ll drop my Filter everything widget on the left box era but there doesnt appear anything.

If it is in a local development place, in that case, we cannot get any access to it. Here’s what you can try to do, if this is a page like a shop page or homepage use settings in the where to filter as “Common WordPress page + homepage/shop” If this is a singular page, you need to choose the “Pages + Name of the page”
The page should have a either shortcode or a filtering widget in order to display filters.
If you did it and don’t see anything on the page, please try to create a second filter set and place it on the same exact page, perhaps you have somewhere hidden place where you have another filter widget or shortcode, and the filters appear there but since it is hidden, you cannot see it on the page, but if you place two or more filter sets you should see one of them.

Well, the folding saves its status for the users, so after the page is refreshed it stays open. What you can do is use the hook “wpc_folding_opened”

As I see on the https://lankareal.lk/product-category/hikvision-cctv-package/ you set individual value “pa_camera-package” for the Filter Set with post ID “5753” but this is wrong value. You have not any HTML container with such CSS ID or Class on the page.
You have to remove it from the Filter Set with ID “5753” and the value ”.main-content” will be used by default and it is correct value. Please, try to do this and let me know if it was helpful.

Ok, sure. As we see you use the WOOF filter plugin and it looks like this plugin (or maybe some another plugin) makes additionsl AJAX-request which replaces filtered results. Please, see this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/mLjufhjadyid
If you reload the page https://lankareal.lk/product-category/hikvision-cctv-package/2mp-4ch-camera-package/cnv-colorvu-silver/ you can see that at first you see correct filtered results, but in few seconds they are reloaded by additional AJAX-request.
We don’t know what exactly plugin or code makes this request. It is something that you have to check and resolve by yourself as it is definitely not request by our plugin.

Hi! We are using Filter Everything Pro on a WooCommerce site and the filters are working great! But: The Search Field is only searching in the content of the product when a category or tag is listed, not on the Shop Home (main WooCommerce loop). You can still get results on the Shop Home if you search for a term in the product title, but not the content (description).
Is there something I can do to make your search work on the Shop Home?

It seems like something changing the search algorithms on the shop page, and excluding search by the content, as the search filter uses default WP search algorithms. It can be some custom code, theme, or plugin that causes this.

Only if you create a custom field or a taxonomy with letter values such as (A, B, C…), and apply it on your posts in the way you need. Then you can create a filter from it, so you will have those those letters as a filter term.

Let’s say you chose the custom fields approach, you created a checkbox custom field with the values:

Then go to your posts, and choose the needed letter value on them, after this is finished, you can create a filter set by this custom field, choose vie as labels, nad you will have something like a filter with the letters.

You need to create a filter set and place it on the “Common WordPress page + search page” – https://prnt.sc/8dplEAL2q2XT and place in the sidebar filter widget if it is still not placed on the search page in order to display filters.
Also, please remove this addition from the URL “&v=7516fd43adaa” not sure what causing it.

I like to buy filter everything. I have now the free version and it looks good for my site trendywoonplek.nl. But the free version does not seem to filter anting on my product archivepage. When checking a collor, it still shows all collors for example. What i understand is that i need filter everthing Pro. But i need to know before i buy it, that it will function in my setup.
I did see someone’s post here who did have the same issue with themify builder Pro as i see. But he could not get a refund. Do you have a trail version or something? As soon as i see that it will function, i like to buy the plugin.

Yes, it should work as long the builder displaying posts with the WP_Query. Perhaps your theme or builder displays it with the custom queries, and the Free version only works with the main query.
So if the element that displays posts on your archive page, using WP_Query everything will be filtered without any issues. But if they are using some custom solutions, stepping aside from the default WP options, then it might be the problem.
If it is not working on your site, there are refund policies that we are following.

I did buy Filter Everthing Pro about 5 days ago, but cannot get it to function correctly.
setup: Placed filter in the sidebar. When visitor go’s to category, he can use the filter. By hiding the emty filters, the same filter can be used in the sub catogories. Where to filter “Product category->every category” What to filter “product query”
Problem: I have the folowing options by “what to filter”, they are “product query” or i can choose “product query, main query” By “Product query”, the filter works. But then number of product found for each filter option is “0” By “product query, main query”, the amoundt of found products per filter option is correct. But then the filter does not filter and will always show all products.
The strange thing is, that when i would chood by “Where to filter” Product category->(a main category), the filer does show the amout of product per filteroption, and the filter is working (but aleays use the product in the main category i did set)
I tried without the product archive template. I tried without the cache plugin litespeed, I checked category setup. I made sure it was not a cache issue.
Goal: I like to see the amount of search results when using the “product query”, or that the filter does filter correctly when using “product query, main query”

We get the mail from the author with the credentials. So we have checked the site, and the issue here is that because of your template for categories, every category page has a unique query. So in order to use this template, you need to create a filter set for each category page separately.

how can i setup the categories different so that i can use 1 filter for all categories? I tried already bu deleting the template, but still did have the same issue.
Well, if we go to the templates, choose options for the archive template, and exclude it from the archive pages – https://prnt.sc/-R_At9LslO23 there is only one query appearing and everything is working correctly. You can check any archive page now that everything is filtering.

Hi. I have purchased the pro version, and I’m using Avada as our primary theme. We are trying to create a product filter on product category for woocommerce products. When I create a filter set, I make the settings apply to a specific page, and when I create a filter, i select product category. But, while the category has products inside it, the filter says (0) next to all products in all categories, so the filters have no effect. Any advice would be great.
