For localhsot, you need to add virtual host and then set the root path to public folder in your extracted files of v5. The installation instructions are in the documentation.pdf

Do you know that staff account can edit prices of items in pos before clicking payment …. i think this is so bad …. can it be disabled
this is still not in the v5 release … its bad to allow staff change prices of products on the POS page… they can manipulate the system .. please do something about this
there should be permissions on what staff can do … it is wrong to allow staff to change prices .. they will start stealing from the customers… its a huge problem here

just 1 observation on v5… when you finalize the order, when you see the ticket (mobile) you cant see the “x” option or print option…bootstrap problem

Hi….I have two questions…..
1) Does/can the script work with card readers?
2) The web based script looks fine, but we are considering a local based script for different reasons.
I notice that you do have the SPOSWI version and that would appear to b what we want, but the description says “Can’t modify item code (it’s minified) ”.
Is this relating to the product code/bar code? We obviously use a barcode scanner for stock and transactions and the code can vary.
What is the “item code” that cannot be modified and will this affect the barcodes?

1. The next update for v5 beta will have stripe terminal payment option.
2. The windows version will be released once we have tested the v5 beta. The current version is still at v4 and this will separate purchase.
You can’t edit code means you can modify the item source code. The functionality wise no changed. The product barcode can be set/update as you need as on web version.

Hello friend, How does changing money work at this POS? Some customers pay by card, others pay by card+cash (often in 100 notes) so we need to give change for the amount, how do we do this?

You can only accept one payment from POS. If you need to add more payments, then you will need to add sale with one payment and then go to list sales page to add more payments to the sale.
I didn’t understand the second comment. You can add products as you need. If you are asking if the item calculates the margin, then no there is no such option.
