Hi, you can send a refund request from your Envato profile.

Hi there, I test the plugin and look amazing, but I would like to know if your plugin is compatible with https://wordpress.org/plugins/departamentos-y-ciudades-de-colombia-para-woocommerce/ I need to specify cities and municipalities according to the freight, so in the destination it is important that I can configure and select the cities and towns of Colombia that this plugin has. Thanks a lot

Hi, the plugin only supports countries and states for the Destination field.

Hi,

I am using the Weight Based Shipping plugin on my WooCommerce site along with the Google Listings & Ads plugin. However, I am encountering an issue where the weight-based shipping rates are not syncing with Google Merchant Center. If I select free shipping or flat rate shipping, they sync correctly, but the weight-based shipping does not.

I also noticed that my WooCommerce product weights are in grams, while Google Merchant Center supports (I found I while I was checking manually add shipping, weight base shipping only gave me two options to select, Kilograms and pounds) only kilograms and pounds. Could this mismatch be the reason for the sync issue?

So the question is: If I buy your plugin, will my problem be resolved?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can ask the Google Listings & Ads plugin support to support third-party shipping plugins. This function is out of the scope of Weight Based Shipping. Buying the plugin will not solve this issue.

Does this plugin still receive updates or is now EOL ? Last updated says 2022.

Hi, I bought the plugin and I would need to add a global fuel surcharge on all shipments. Please note that this varies weekly, so I would prefer to do it in one place. Unfortunately this fuel surcharge is something that the couriers calculate separately, but it is necessary. How can I have a place to add a percentage, and this is then added to the price entered in the price by weight fields? I tried with chatgpt in the functions file but it doesn’t work. Example of courier surcharge: https://www.fedex.com/it-it/shipping/surcharges.html

maybe I found a solution (add in the file function):

add_filter( 'woocommerce_package_rates', 'aggiungi_percentuale_al_costo_di_spedizione', 20, 2 ); function aggiungi_percentuale_al_costo_di_spedizione( $rates, $package ) { $percentuale_incremento = 10; // Imposta qui la tua percentuale di incremento foreach ( $rates as $rate_key => $rate ) { if (isset($rate->cost)) { // Applica l'incremento $rate->cost += ($rate->cost * $percentuale_incremento / 100); } } return $rates; }

Hi, the snippet looks good to me.

Hi. Is possible config that when has a free shipping this option be the default checked?

Orders in woocommerce are calcultating with shipping but when sent to my payment gateway (freedompay) it is not included. What issue would cause this?

Thanks, Jake

Hi,

We are using YITH Multi Currency Switcher for WooCommerce.

Weight Based Shipping rules only read sub-total number and ignore current exchange rate value.

We basically want to offer free shipping to International orders if the sub-total is above £50 (after discount, excluding shipping).

If customer used USD as currency, free shipping should only work if the sub-total is equivalent to £50 and not $50.

How to make it work please? Thank you!

Hi Dan!

We have put all our sale category items into “sale” shipping class and add extra shipping fee. While regular items has no shipping class and with free shipping.

sale items > sale shipping class > no free shipping regular items > no shipping class > free shipping

If the basket has mixed items (sale item + regular item), we would like the system to ignore sale shipping class. And offer Standard FREE shipping. However, the system doesn’t work like that.

How to ignore shipping class rule if cart has mixed items (items with and without shipping class)?

I have added items in the cart.

1. White And Black Single Stripe Tie Free Cufflinks – sale shipping class 2. Apple Green Plain Satin Tie – no shipping class

I have attached screenshots of checkout page shipping option and standard shipping setting.

Please kindly help us figure out how to make it work.

Thank you!

Regards, Jen

Hola,

I need to add +0.28 € / Kg If the weight are more than 15Kg!

It’s possible with your plugin?

Hi,

You can do this with a rule:
Order Weight: above 15 kg
Weight Rate: add 0.28 for each 1 kg over 15 kg.

I’ve purchased to upgrade a Hello, I bought this plugin years ago, but I had never updated it. When trying to update to the latest version and import the configuration data from the old version, I get an error message asking me to install version 4.2.2 of the plugin in order to correctly perform the import. Please, where can I get this version? Thank you.

Hello, you can download the 4.2.2 version here: https://weightbasedshipping.com/wbs-4.2.2.zip

My requirement as below it can be achieved or not using your plugin?

If Total cart weight is 1KG than shipping charges will be apply as Rs. 500/KG along with this 1KG Additional Packing Charges will be applied means total 2KG = (2×500)Rs. 1,000/- (check in attachment)

If Total cart weight is 10KG than shipping charges will be apply as Rs. 200/KG along with this 3KG Additional Packing Charges will be applied means total 13KG=(13×200) = Rs. 2,600/- (check in attachment)

Hi there,

I need to retrieve the shipping price based on the plugin and send it in a Google Merchant xml feed. Is it possible please ?

Thank you

Hi, unfortunately, there is no option to do that.

Hi Dan, I have a problem with the shipping costs for digital products. Each of my products in WooCommerce are available as physical products as well as digital products. For this reason Im working with variable products, with each product with a specific weight. The digital variations have the weight 0. In the Shipping Rules in Weight Based Shipping I defined amongst others, “download” with Weight 0, Subtotal 0 and Price free. The plugin is working fine with the physical products, i.e. it ads the weight and shows the correct shipping fee on the checkout page. But with the digital products, its not working. Although shipping is defined as free and products have no weight, the shipping is calculated for some reason I dont know. My question is what Im doing wrong?

its me again. I solved the problem, it was my fault.

But I have one more problem and question:

On the checkout page the shipping method “download” is not transferred.

Instead of, the shipping method WooCommerce Text is ” There is no Shipping method. Please ensure that your adress is correct, contact us”.

My question is, how can this be changed?

Thanks a lot

Hi, the no-shipping-methods message means what it says: you have no shipping zones, methods, or rules matching the order weight, subtotal, or destination. Please double-check the mentioned order parameters and whether you have set up your shipping to catch such orders.

...okidoki, I checked it all again and you are right. its working. thank you for answering and best regards

Hello,

Question, I have trouble setting up the shipping costs.

The shipping costs are based on our transport company and they have 2 rates: Box size 1: max: 100×50x50 cm and 10 kg : €6,95. Box size 2: max: 176×78x58 cm and 23 kg : €13,20.

So let’s say the size of a product of mine is: 47×47x17 cm and 1 kg. The shipping costs for 1 of this product will be €6,95, because is it will fit in the 100×50x50 cm box.

But when you want 2 of these products, Woocommerce will calculate 2x: 47×47x17 = 94×94x34 cm, this will not fix any box and so no shipping option will be displayed…

Woocommerce will not see/calculate that a couple of these products will fit in 1 box.

Can your plugin make Woocommerce see/calculate this with your plugin?

Hello, you can do it with our advanced shipping plugin. I have set up an example that you can start with.
