Currently, there isn’t an option in the admin panel to hide the view counts. If you wish to make this change, you may consider collaborating with a developer to edit the code. Since our code is open source, you can make changes to the script.

Hello sir, i am start using modesy script yesterday. i purchase so many years back. but install yesterday.
i am using VSP server with Cloud Panel. There is No email function. so i select mailjet API Option.
i register in mailjet. update API and Secreat key in my website. but not going emails to users. Like email confiramation and Order Purchase.
i am also using cloudflare. DNS also update TXT records.

Hello, Mailjet is working without any problem, but CloudFlare may block such APIs. As CloudFlare is not part of our product, there is nothing we can do about this. You can work with a developer to make your CloudFlare settings or you can contact CloudFlare or Mailjet support for this. Thanks.

I have been through all your help guides, and I am very confused by Categories, Sub Categories and Custom Fields.
I have also spent days reading through all the questions on here, and now know I can NOT have a product assigned to multiple categories, which is a shame.
QUESTION: So how do I present a product in multiple areas of the store?
EXAMPLE: I sell digital products, example, a Business Risk Management Procedure, which I want displaying in categories, Business, Risk, Procedures and Management.
Do you have some examples of best practice for your application when setting up products you want displaying in various places?

When you select more than one category for a product, having too many categories and products can slow down the speed of your site significantly. That’s why you can add your product to only one category. However, by creating a well-structured category system, you won’t need to add a product to multiple categories.
You do not need to select parent categories when adding products. You can add subcategories to your categories and choose these subcategories when adding your products. In Modesy, all products in subcategories also belong to their parent categories.
For example, if you create a “Procedure” main category, add a “Business” subcategory to this main category, and then add “Risk Management” as a subcategory to the “Business” subcategory (Procedure/Business/Risk Management), any product added to the “Risk Management” subcategory will also be included in the “Business” and “Procedure” categories. This is just an example, of course. You can decide on the categories and subcategories based on the products you plan to sell on your site.

We answered this question regarding categories because it is a general question, but it may not be possible for us to respond to other questions in the comments section. Just a suggestion and reminder.
I would like to remind you of a feature that has been requested by users over the past years: It is the feature of contacting sellers via WhatsApp in classified ads. By adding the WhatsApp icon next to the phone and email icons.
This feature will be useful in classified ads, especially if it is possible to send a picture of the advertised product on WhatsApp so that the seller knows which product the customer is asking about.

The main purpose here is to incentive users to use the live chat feature of the script instead of directing them to other communication tools. That’s why we did not add social media links to the contact seller popup. If buyers want, thay can find social links on sellers profile page. So for now we are not sure about adding this option.

Im not insisting on any thing, nor asking you to do anything, you have your plans to improve this system, and you’re doing very well.
Having said that, i just want to share my thoughts.
The live chat is very important, and amazing, however, this system will be more beneficial in application, but using it in website is a little bit different, as you know we are in speed age, and users wants to get everything very quickly, and since the live chat requires users to open the website, login to their accounts to answer these messages, that will be frustrating for most of users.
That’s why we thought WhatsApp would be very handy in early stage of any new multi-vendor marketplace for faster communication. Of course with the possibility to enable or disable that feature.

This combination will not work because you need to enable the marketplace option to sell digital products and you need to enable the physical products to add classified ads products.
1. Most of our buyers did not like this, so we removed this redirection in the previous updates. However, there is will be popup screen after adding a product to the cart in the next update.
4. We could not understand what you mean by this. But you can use the bank transfer payment option for offline payment option.

2. This works for normal languages, but it causes some problems for Japanese and similar languages. So to not see any errors in the codes, we decided to add a default unique name for all digital files.

Yes, but most of our customers do not have coding knowledge, so when there is a problem with the file name, they think it is an error in the codes. Even if we add such an option, it will probably not be clear what this option will be used for.
However, file upload function has this option actually. If you want you can keep the original name by changing only one line in the codes. In the upcoming update, we plan to add a feature that will display a popup screen when a product is added to the cart. However, as mentioned in our previous messages, we do not plan to add a feature that redirects buyers to the checkout page.
You can choose to disable physical products and sell only digital products on your site if that suits your needs.

Our Modesy script includes both classified ads and marketplace features, which can be enabled simultaneously. This allows vendors on your site to add their products based on their preferences. If you enable both of these features, vendors can choose whether they want to list their products for sale or as a classified ad.
However, our script does not have a company directory feature. If you wish to add this feature, you might consider collaborating with a developer. Our code is open source, so you can make changes by editing the code. We won’t be able to help you with this because we don’t accept any custom edit requests. We are working on new updates to further improve our scripts.

You can enable the “Approve Products Before Publishing” option to review product listings before they are published on your site. However, currently, this option is not available for edited products. This means that after a vendor adds a product listing and you approve it, they can later edit this product listing without your approval.
We are aware of this issue. While we cannot make any promises at this moment, we plan to add an option that will require admin approval for changes made to a product’s general information without disabling the product. This will likely cover basic product information such as product title, description, images, etc.
Until we add this feature, we do not think this will cause a serious issue. If you enable the “Vendor Verification System” and “Request Documents from Vendors to Open a Store” options from the admin panel, you will be able to check the information of vendor candidates and select the serious, relatively trustworthy ones. However, if you disable the “Vendor Verification System” and allow all users to add products, the risk of them not following the rules of your site would be higher.
If you want to have the admin approval for edited products feature before your purchase, you can follow our updates. We are considering adding this feature.

Hi, our script shows the similar products by their categories. In order to do what you want, a system such as data mining needs to be added, or a similar system. However, such systems are generally only found on shopping sites owned by large companies. We have no plans to work on such advanced features for now. If you take a look at the “Add Product” section of the vendor dashboard on our demo site, you can see the available listing types. For service listings, vendors can choose the “Add a Product or Service as an Ordinary Listing” option to add their service advertisements without the buy option. If they choose this option, there will be a “Contact Seller” button on the product page. Please take a look at this listing on our demo site as an example: https://modesy.codingest.com/modern-grey-couch-and-pillows-43 When a potential customer clicks on this “Contact Seller” button, they can send a message to the vendor and open a private chat. They can discuss the terms through this chat and agree on the payment method between themselves.

Unfortunately, this option is not available. The Modesy script is primarily designed for the sale of products. For service listings, there is currently only the option to add them as ordinary listings without the buy option.

We tested our script with approximately 200,000 products and 50,000 categories, and it works without any issues.
However, it is challenging to determine the number of active users who can use the script simultaneously, as this depends on your server as well. Factors such as processor speed and other server features can affect performance. A powerful VPS server can handle a higher capacity more efficiently. We try to use as few database queries as possible to improve the capacity of the system.
Additionally, if you add a large number of products, such as 100,000, you can enable the cache system from the Admin panel to improve site speed. Using LiteSpeed cache on your server will also enhance site performance.

Could you please provide more details about your question? In the Modesy script, all sellers manage their own shipping options and select the regions where they want to sell their products. Sellers can choose multiple regions if they wish to sell in more than one area. However, classified ads listings are not available for sale on the site. If a seller selects the “Add a Product or Service as an Ordinary Listing” option, they are only advertising their products and not selling them through the site. Therefore, we are unsure what you mean by “selling in multiple locations” and “required for classified ads”.

You are welcome! There are some system settings in the “Preferences/System” section of the admin panel. You can remove the price filter, “Sell Now” and ’’Cart’’ buttons by disabling all of these settings and disabling the price option in the “Settings/Product Settings/Classified Ads” section. If you want to add external links to your listings, you can choose to enable only the ’’Classified Ads’’ setting in the “Preferences/System” section. However, the “Wishlist” can be used for all types of products, so there is no option to remove it.
You can replace the word “Category” with a new word. To do this, go to the “Settings/Language Settings” section of the admin panel, click on “Edit Translations”, and search for the word you wish to change.
