Regarding the plugin, Instagram can blacklist your server’s IP address, making it unfunctional. Adding a proxy IP in plugin settings will solve this. I approved the refund because I saw that you are not willing to try to use the plugin any more and find a solution for the issue you encountered. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

Zero Support system. Purchased, installed and no support. I have experience in using other plugins from this Author, however, this product seems buggy and simply cannot be used in any true working environment. The plugin only issue “The Red X” when running a “Rule”, therefore the plugin renders useless when pulling from Instagram. If the author has anything to say about this, now is the time. I will request a refund in 3 business days from now should I not hear back from the developer.

From my experience the Instagram API was very limited, they have a complicated approval process, also, after you get access, they have limited functionality. I just checked their docs, and I can see the following:
Limitations The API cannot access Instagram consumer accounts (i.e., non-Business or non-Creator Instagram accounts). If you are building an app for consumer users, use the Instagram Basic Display API instead. Content Publishing is only available to Instagram Business Users. ordering results is not supported all endpoints support cursor-based pagination, but the User Insights edge is the only endpoint that supports time-based pagination
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/This is why I did not chose to go with Instagram API when I created this plugin.
However, will look into this idea, maybe things changed since I last checked.

I checked on this better, and since some recent changes to Instagram, the plugin is able to get only images. Videos are not downloaded, but are displayed in iframe players, linked directly from Instagram.

1. Currently the plugin can only import posts from Instagram to WordPress (it cannot post from WordPress to Instagram, because recently Instagram limited this functionality). Also, my demo’s IP address currently is blacklisted by Instagram, because of this, neither importing is working from there.

Currently, the uploading feature of this plugin has difficulties working on most servers because of some Instagram restrictions.
Only the post importing feature to WordPress keeps working. I am working on making it work fully, but not sure if possible. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Currently the plugin cannot get older posts from Instagram (only the last 20 posts) and it will run by a schedule and import newly appearing posts on your page.
Also yes, it is able to set the post date as the Instagram post date.

I liked the plugin in the description. I decided to try it before buying. Used demo access. Inserted instagram account and password, but the plugin was not able to log in, as instagram constantly issued a request to confirm that it was me who logged in. I tried to connect via VPN from the same city, but still the plugin gave an error, and instagram asked me to confirm. I tried it on another instagram account, but the same problem. I even tried enabling two-factor authentication… Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? I don’t want to buy it and realize that the plugin doesn’t work with my instagram account. Could you help me solve this problem before I buy this plugin?

Well, Instagram is pretty hard to handle these days. It seems that they banned multiple IP addresses of which they knew that they are IPs of web servers. It seems that my demo web server’s IP address is also banned at their part.
I really cannot guarantee that this plugin will work on your part, because of the above issue. I will be working on making it pass through this limitation, but they set some very hard security measures of which I am not sure if I can pass.
