Hello,
I am formally requesting a refund for the S2W – Import Shopify to WooCommerce plugin purchased on Envato Market. Despite considerable time spent troubleshooting, the plugin has not delivered the promised functionality.
I have encountered the following critical issues: Customer Information Missing: All imported customers appear as “Guests” instead of being linked to their accounts. Order Data Incomplete: Key order information, such as shipping details and customer names, is missing, rendering the imported data unreliable. I have exhausted all recommended solutions without success, and this plugin does not meet the standards or functionality it advertised. Given the time invested and the plugin’s failure to perform as expected, I am requesting an immediate full refund.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
To clarify, the customer migration wasn’t successful because your current plan isn’t sufficient to get customer’s data. This restriction is published from Shopify’s documentation: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/apps/app-types/custom-apps
As you can see, they stated that your store must be on the Shopify plan or higher.
Another approach is to migrate using CSV file, but for now this feature is not supported just yet. Our team will look into it as soon as we can, and do our best to deliver it at the earliest.
Meanwhile, I regret the inconvenience you’re facing. But it’s not something we can control. We can’t change the restriction of Shopify. Rest assured that once the appropriate plan is in place, our plugin will be able to retrieve and import the full data as expected.
Best regards.
Hi, I got a license for a site that didn’t end up using the license. Can I change it to a different domain?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Regarding changing license to a new domain – Definitely! However, as I can see, your S2W license isn’t active on any domain at the moment. Which means you should be able to activate it where you want.
If there’s any difficulties, feel free to let me know. I’ll do my best to help.
Best regards.
Hello. I just want to import product images, price, title and URL top product on shopify shop. I want to just show the product listing on my wodpress and link to shopify instead on a product page on wordpress (also to avoid duplicate content). Is this possible with your plugin?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
As far as I understand, you want to show WooCommerce products as external ones. I’m afraid there’s no specific setting or option for it. However, you can achieve it via different ways. E.g. After importing products from Shopify to WooCommerce first, you can set up WooCommerce products as external products like you need.
For this, I recommend testing with our free plugin: http://bit.ly/import-shopify-to-woocommerce

I need help importing a Shopify-formatted CSV into my store; the main images are not showing up.
Hi,
We’re back at work after a 3-day break for the national holiday. Thank you for your patience during this time.
In the Import CSV setting, let’s check
+ If you enable import images in the background (See this docs No5), it will take time to obtain all image data, and there will be a notification like there are xxx images in the queue, and you will wait for images to be imported in the background. The import speed would depend on the size of the data and the server processing capabilities.
Besides, please check your WP cron job, if it is running properly now. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Wordpress cron: https://ibb.co/FYcWX29 If it is not working, the background import will stop running as well.
+ If you disable import in the background, image data will be imported to the Failed images => Pls go there to import images. (See this docs)
Let us know if these hints do not help and raise a ticket on our support forum we will help to check this issue directly.
Best regards.
Hello, for the image variation, I can see that it’s import all but it’s not show up on the shop product for the client. Do you know a way for make it appear ? Thank you
Hi,
We’re back at work after a 3-day break for the national holiday. Thank you for your patience during this time.
I am not sure if all images are imported to your Media yet. As you mentioned, images are imported, but they do not show up on the product/shop page, you should check the page builder you are currently using. Our solution is to try switching to a different theme and disabling other plugins to see if the images appear. If it still doesn’t work, please create a ticket on our support forum, we will help you check this issue: https://villatheme.com/supports/

If existing customers want to log in to the migrated WordPress site, they have to use the reset password function, after they reset the password, will they retrieve back their order history?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
If the orders and their associated users are imported into Shopify using this plugin, users will be able to review their order history.
Best regards.
Can the same order ID is exported to woocommerce?
Hi,
Order ID is unique on both WooCommerce and Shopify, the new order ID will be generated after importing from Shopify to Woo. However, the order numbers are the same: https://ibb.co/JRGN9NP

Is it possible to migrate blog post custom meta fields from Shopify to Wordpress?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us
Migrating blog post custom meta fields from Shopify to WordPress is currently not supported by our plugin.
We understand the importance of this feature and appreciate your suggestion. We will consider adding this capability in a future update of the plugin.
Best regards.
Pre-sale Question – Does this work on the latest version of Wordpress? I went to install it (primarily needing customers brought over) and there is a warning from Wordpress that this is untested on the latest “x” versions and may cause damage to the site.
Hi,
Thank you for bringing us this attention.
We have tested with the latest version of WordPress 6.6, and a new version of this plugin – Free version will be released today. Rest assured, this warning will be gone, and you can be able to use the plugin normally.
Best regards.
Okay – thank you just thought we should ask before buying. Will wait for this Paid version to be updated then purchase (as only require customers) thank you so much for responding.
Will the plugin on this website be updated? I don’t care about the free plugin – that does nothing that helps. But am not wanting to pay $$$$ to get a plugin only for it to not work because you don’t need to make it work. Selling on a 3rd party site means once we buy it we just have to hope it works with wordpress.
So am trying to make sure THIS plugin that you are selling right here on this website works with wordpress it was last updated 4 months ago and there have been plenty of wordpress updates since. I don’t care about wp.org or the free version, I don’t even care what you had for breakfast – it was asked if THIS plugin worked on the newest version – at the moment it seems the answer is no because the last update was March 24 right?!
Hi,
We understand you are concerned about the plugin’s compatibility with the latest version of WordPress and sorry if the information is not clear to you.

Hello, I have a Presale question. After synchronization, sales in Woocommerce are synchronized and Inventory in Shopify updates automatically? I need to know if this is correct?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Let’s discuss your questions:
+ There are 2 ways to automatically sync the inventory (And other listed data): Schedule syncing or webhook (Syncing data right after it’s changed on Shopify).
+ Regarding your question – Auto syncing Sales in WooCommerce, we are not sure if the sale here is the sale price or sales in Analytics, could you clarify this?
Best regards.
I mean that selling in Woocommerce automatically updates the inventory in Shopify (subtracts it). The idea is to synchronize by lowering the sale (Inventory in WooCommerce) in the Origin, which would be Shopify. If this is so we can buy it.
Hi,
The plugin only allows for one-way data import and synchronization from Shopify to WooCommerce. The webhook feature ensures that inventory changes in Shopify are synced right after they happen. However, syncing reverting when subtracting inventory from WooCommerce to Shopify is unavailable in this plugin.
Best regards.
After importing from Shopify to woocommerce, can i sync the order from woocommerce back to Shopify.
I have my products on Shopify but I don’t want to sell there. I want to import the products to my woocommerce and sell on woocommerce.
Will the orders sync from woocommerce to Shopify?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
S2W alone doesn’t support both way order synchronization (from Shopify to WooCommerce and vice versa). To do that, you need this plugin as well: https://codecanyon.net/item/w2s-migrate-woocommerce-to-shopify/38487975?s_rank=4
Then you’ll be able to manually sync order data both ways. For details, you can visit this documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/import-shopify-to-woocommerce/#B.-Syncing-order-Data-manually-between-Shopify-and-WooCommerce-(Compatibility-between-Shopify-to-WooCommerce-and-WooCommerce-to-Shopify)
Best regards.
Hello.
Failed to retrieve image.
I tried it twice and the result was the same.
The message below appeared.
What should I do?
S2W – Import Shopify to WooCommerce: 3430 images are in the queue. If the same images are imported again and again, please Empty queue and go to Products to update missing images for your products. If products images were importing normally before, please Resume download
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Possibly it’s due to server error during the process of uploading images. Can you try emptying queue and remove the duplicated images (if any – you can check duplicated images in Media >> List view). Then please sync to update the missing images (I recommend syncing manually)
Alternatively, can you please open a support ticket on this Support Forum? Our team will definitely take a direct look for you.
Best regards.
Presales Q.: would it be possible to automate sync inventory (stock level) from Shopify onto WooCommece? Also, regarding orders, would it be possible to include custom fields in the syncs? Thanks, Amir
Hi,
Thank you for bringing us your concern.
1. Yes, it is possible to automatically sync inventory from Shopify to WooCommerce. Our plugin offers 2 options for that: Make schedules syncing or using Webhook (Syncing data right after it’s changed on Shopify). These are premium features.
2. Yes, it is feasible as well to sync custom fields, and this part of our documentation regards this feature.
If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to keep in touch with us.
Best regards.
Hello -
The latest version there seems to be an issue importing stock/inventory. Manage stock is set correctly in Woo inventory settings but when importing by Product ID (in my scenario, it’s variation item) the item’s variation ‘manage stock’ isn’t checked nor is the inventory populated because it seems the box isn’t checked for manage stock when imported.
Please take a look as right now only way to get the stock is to, after import, go and try to sync each item manually on products list which is not good for many items/variations.
Hope you can look and see on your side.
Thank You.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We will attempt to replicate the issue on our end and get back to you. Kindly wait for our update on the matter. Thank you for your patience.

Can this plugin migrate customers’ password?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Customers’ passwords will not be migrated.
Passwords are created randomly and NOT sent to customers because it requires a lot of emails in a short time. If your existing customers want to log in to the migrated WordPress site, they have to use the reset password function.
Best regards.
Is it possible to import Seo description and title to yoast directly ????
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Our plugin supports syncing metadata. After importing product data, you can sync Yoast SEO data. This feature is available in the premium version, you can see our documentation: https://docs.villatheme.com/import-shopify-to-woocommerce/#set_up_child_menu_7330
Let us know if you have any other concerns with this plugin.
Best regards.
Hi, my question is: if I have two different inventories in my Shopify store, can I specify which inventory this plugin should sync to WooCommerce? Or will the plugin sync the total inventory (Inventory A + Inventory
to WooCommerce?
Hi,
Thank you for letting us know your concern.
If you have many different inventories on Shopify, the inventories from all locations will be accumulated and set to respective WooCommerce products.
If you use more than 1 location for your Shopify store, you have to import products and then use an option in the plugin to import inventory.
You can refer to this documentation.
Best regards.
If I import inventory, will it be automatically updated using webhooks based on the inventory location that I imported, or will it update based on the total inventory quantity from all locations?
It wil update based on the total inventory quantity from all locations
