The Envato usage license policy allows you to use the software in only one end product (website), not one end product at a time. This means that the license cannot be migrated from one product to another.
Websites are uniquely identified by the associated domain. Once you register a domain that will become the end product for which you are licensed to use the software.
The plugin activation system, however, allows you to activate the license in two domains (the second one should be for testing purposes). In each domain, you can activate unlimited subdomains and subfolders.
If you consumed all these options, you need to buy another license in order to be compliant with the Envato usage policy.

and which malware is present? Could you provide more detailed info? If 3rd parties have corrupted that file, try just to delete the plugin and reinstall it. You won’t lose any settings.
Note that the file is obfuscated to avoid the illegal distribution of the tracker script code. So if you have just seen that it contains “unreadable” code, it is normal.

Hi. I have purcashed the Woocommerce Shipping tracking plugin and i was using it for 2 domains. On one of the domains i have deleted the whole website but it still says Max number of domains reached! You have to purchase a new license. The current license has been activated in the following domains: x, y. How can i disable the license on second domain after i deleted the website?
I have reinstalled the plugin on the second domain then clicked on “reset activation”. After that i have disabled the shipping tracking on the site and i want to active on the other site as the second domain, but it still says i have reached the maximum of 2 domains. Thanks in advance.

I am facing the issue with the plugin, on the order tracking page it’s giving an error “You are running an unauthorized copy of the software.”. the account is from agency and the that agency won’t share the account. although I can share the purchase code.
To request support you need to use an account with a valid purchase and support license with it. That message is usually displayed when using the software without entering a valid purchase code properly associated with your production domain.
i don’t have access to that as it was of a development firm. i have the purchase code. i can share that.
What do you mean by “share the code”?
To have proper support, you need to post a message (as you already have done) using the account you used to purchase the plugin or you can send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) via the profile used to purchase the plugin. Sharing a purchase code is not enough. They don’t need to share the account, they just need to send me a private message reporting your email so I can verify the purchase and communicate with you via email.

The support is not a service working 24/7. Once you submit a request you should have the patience to wait your request to be processed. Here it is 22.00 and no office works at this time.
All the other users that were expecting the issue had the patience to wait and a solution for their case was found.

First of all, what I said is said in a polite way. Second, It is you who is saying that “many people” are experiencing this issue just to prove your point. If it was true, there would be bad ratings complaining about that, but in the facts, no one is complaining about that.

I told him that initially when I installed the plugin I couldn’t find the purchase key. I didn’t had idea where to find it in the downloads page. So I entered rubbish but later I googled to find out where to find the key on evanto n entered the coorect key. Still I faced the same issue. Uninstalled and installed the plugin 2-3 times. Removed and reset the activation. Still the plugin is complaining about unauthorized use of software. Moreover the plugin is not getting updated as well. no the plugin said the activation is successful but on the order tracking page it is giving. this error. Obviously when you make a plugin, it should be robust enough that once a correct key has been provided it should work. If not then at least after uninstalling it and installing it back again. also resetting the activation option provided in the plugin is also. not helping neither the plugin is getting updated. how is it all my fault then. Search in this forum for keyword “unauthorized” you will find 8 instances where people have reported the same issue over the period of ONE YEAR. why still there issue is not resolved yet and why the plugin hasn’t been fixed even after so many people complaining the same issue over a period of ONE WHOLE YEAR. The plugin doesn’t activate just inserting any key. In fact, the tracking page is giving the “unauthorized error” because detected the mess you made with the purchase code. Purchased code that is not associated with your domain.
Other people had the same message but for different causes. All of them politely reported the issue, had the patience to wait (without leaving a bad rating after a few minutes) had their issue fixed, and now they are all happy customers. You are trying to decontextualize their support requests to strengthen your thesis, but unfortunately, your issue is caused by the mess you made with the activation system.
By the way, the plugin has 2976 sales, so 8 requests on 2976 means that 0.002% of the customers are experiencing an issue. This shows how the software is solid, thank you for pointing it out.

I would be glad to fix the issue if there was one. But this is not the case: the plugin just needs to be activated with a proper purchase code instead of messing with its activation system as you did.
No one asked you to leave a good rating. It is, however, good sense to wait for the support to answer before leaving a bad rating after few minutes after asking for support.
It would also be appreciated to have the rating removed after the support contacted you to assist (despite the not labor hour because I remember that support service is not a 24/7 service).

No. The automatic updater just need the support license to be active. Otherwise you can manually download the latest version of the plugin via codecanyon.

The plugin hasn’t any support for that. I can eventually try to create an addon for that.

please make sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or Firefox to activate the software.
Make also sure there are no 3rd party plugin interfering when activating (try eventually to disable the others when activating).

Thank you for reporting, but what you are reporting is raised by a script that is not part of my plugin:

it seems you have implemented some custom code on the functions.php of your theme. Custom code is not covered by the support.
note also that that is a Warning not an Error. It means that no script is crashing (a warning does not prevent scripts to be executed by the server).

I’m sorry, but the plugin didn’t implement anything specific function that interferes with the login process and, as you can understand, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine if the issue is caused by the WooCommerce Shipping Tracking plugin or by something implemented by the Pop Up Login that conflicts or any other cause (for example, custom code that you might be implementing in your functions.php). Just reporting that “it was working” unfortunately doesn’t add any clue.
From the error log you reported, no error was raised. Only a “deprecated” warning that was fixed in the latest version.
If you share some login data, I can try performing some debugging to see IF is possible to understand the cause and eventually to see IF something is implementable on the WooCommerce Shipping Tracking side to avoid the conflict.
Do you think those global variables in your plugin caused the conflict? Part of them, I guess maybe I don’t have shipping for some of my orders, which raises that error.

Hi, that’s a new feature. The plugin now embeds an automatic updater that allows you to update the plugin as you do for other plugins hosted in the WordPress repository. To use it, you need a valid support license that support my jobs and helps the plugin development.
Otherwise you can download manually from codecanyon.
Is this allowed in CodeCanyon’s terms and conditions?, can you provide me with the clause that allows this? If not, I will bring it to Envato’s attention as I believe it isn’t legal.
You can’t restrict updates via WordPress or Envato Market without checking out.
If I need support, I contract it and that’s it, but if not, you can’t force me in any way and what you are doing is forcing me to contract something that is unnecessary.

The envato license agreement allows you to download the plugin unlimited times from the platform. You can do that and use the version that is currently available on the platform. All updates are published on the Codecanyon platform. Software development has its cost and once in a life purchase are not enough to cover that. If you wish to use the automatic updater, you can do by renewing for a few dollars the support license. This also support my job and the software development. Otherwise you can download the software manually from codecanyon, all the updates will be available in time.
I think that’s great, but I don’t think it’s great that you’re capping the update via Envato Market. If you don’t like the one-time payment model, don’t accept it, I don’t like it and I don’t sell under this model, but if I accept it, I don’t think it’s ethical to limit the automatic update functionalities if if I don’t pay, honestly.
Anyway, I’m waiting to see what Envato say as I doubt very much that they will accept this.

As it happens for any software, some features can be optionally used only after paying. In this case, the new automatic updater feature allows you to receive updates directly from the Dashboard. If you are not willing to use it, no one is forcing you. You can manually download via CodeCanyon the update once is approved and published.
