Purchased and looking forward to using! But I don’t understand the process to linking paypal to an event. I see the text box where to paste the link but I don’t understand how to generate a linked page with paypal. I just know how to create a paypal button. Apparently that’s all Google knows too. How do we set something like that up on the paypal side for an event?
yes create a paypal button and the code for the button should have a link try coping that link

you can do this via “Styles” tab under calendar settings page. And here you will need to add some other background color using CSS code.
Can you please give an example of said CSS code so I can modify it to my liking? I’d really appreciate it!

I’m wondering if there is the ability to access just upcoming events ie: just the week ahead events or a set number (eg: 10) of upcoming events from the current day?
This would be great if it was a short code we could just page to a wordpress page.

I think you emailed me too right? There isnt a straight forward way to do this. This has to be done in a custom way.
I already have my own event system. Can I pass my events in whatever format you accept to your front end to get it to display?
Can I also add my own custom sorting features?
How can i put the feature event image and enable the link event like shown in the description?
When you add an event you should see features image to add image and then to have an external URL link to an event there should be a meta box for that.

in the events post page on top right click “Screen Options” and see if featured images is checked.
I only have “Event Type” “URL” “Event Color” “Event Settings” “Welcome Inn – Framework” options no featured images. i am using WP 3.5

It worked, thanks. It would be nice if users can enter events as well and the admin would have to validate them and also the image of the event when clicked open in lightbox so we could see the image complete. Just an idea for the next version 
I installed the version 2.0.3 and now one other plugin called WP Google Maps isn`t working propertly. The bubbles doesn`t open to show the information, when i had the version 2.0.2 it all worked fine, can you tell me the changes made in this version so i could correct the conflict?
only change made in 2.0.3 was a CSS line that fixed google maps grid lines.
maybe it`s that line, can you tell which line was so i can check it out.

Presales question. I don’t really need to export to Google Calendar but I am trying to skin a Google Calendar…..I read your FAQ and it seems your code does not really do that, correct? Meaning, the ability to import a calendar via an RSS link?
Correct, parameters such as date, time etc. will not be in correct format for the RSS xml feed.

its not suppose to “pop up” if you add an external link, click on the event will take you to that link.

Well I dont think its right that it goes straight to the link.. In your example http://dev.ashanjay.com/envato/evcal_1.jpg you have a link, and it opens the event details rather then go straight to the link…
So to anwser your question :D… No I dont want it to open the link right away.. I want it to open the even discription/details like it would normaly do.
well remove the link from external link meta box in that event then

That is actually linking to Meetup event URL it shows up when you connect the meetup event to your event in the calendar. Currently you can not add the link to show up as “Learn More’ unless you connect meetup event. I will add this capability in the next update.

Hi, Im thinking to have several category like, event based on location and also event based on interest. Is it possible to have that kind of list. Maybe Tags or category could help? So I would say I have an event on Jan 12th, 2012. The tags will be California and Music Concert. And I will have a menu with Location and Interest. What would be the best approach for this? I guess that I will need to have a Event filtered based on tags for this.. is it due able what do you think?

Amanda, I think I mentioned this before in here) You could use the month increment (month_incre) variable to create separate calendars for more than one month in a single page. The whole concept behind this plugin is to have an easier navigation between months with the arrows—so not really in the plans for a multiple months in one calendar as of yet.
Hi, Just bought the plugin and test it. I am having a problem, when i click the event, it open the site of the organizer and not the details of the event. I also wanted to remove “Event Type”.

So i found out that if you use template tags the google maps works fine this only happens when you use shortcode. If you want to try that while I see if I can find a solution to that.

Now i removed the calendar using the shortcode and just kept the php template tag, however the google map still shows up in grid 
also is there a way to show all events regardless of date instead of scrolling through the months for the next event?
I am finding that the eventbrite part does not connect. it is saying it’s connecting, but it’s not.
Make sure you enter the correct API key and correct event id. If it doesnt work send me a email with link to your site and I can take a look
Thanks for the quick reply! I copied and pasted the API key from eventbrite, but I wonder if the application url has anything to do with it not working. I assumed that meant the url to the app on my site, but I could be wrong. Any thoughts?

Great looking calendar, but I can’t seem to get it working on my site just yet. I have tried the [add_ajde_evcal]-shortcode, that works but it messes up the style of the calendar. It also makes the events unclickable to show the event description.
Since I’m using a template (bought here on Themeforest) I’ve also tried to insert the PHP-code, but without succes (can’t get the calendar to show up). I have uploaded a picture to show you what the calendar looks like, using the [add_ajde_evcal]-shortcode: http://i47.tinypic.com/2mff705.png
I hope you can help me here. I know a little HTML but have close to no knowledge of PHP, so maybe I’m doing something wrong here.

Thanks for your reply regarding the popup functionality. I have another question… When I use shortcodes within an event, they only show up for the first month shown when the calendar us viewed. The exact same shortcodes used in any future month just shows as the shortcode with the brackets.
An example is here http://www.brainworksglobal.com/new/test/ If you look at the one event for January, you can see a popup link called TEST POPUP and a Cart66 Register link. Then if you change months to February, the same event will only show the underlying shortcode. I can get around it by using the actual html for those functions, but if i can use shortcodes it will better for my client to update herself.

Not really sure what you are trying to do send me a email. Because it seems like (in your site) “where are we next” works fine and show february month calendar – which i assume is using the short code.

Thanks for the reply. It took a bit for me to get back on this , but I’ve now installed the latest update, and set up a revised test page.
What I meant above was that your shortcode works well. I can embed the calendar in the page. But when I add an event and put a shortcode for anything else into an event, the shortcode within will only show when it’s the first month of the calendar.
http://www.brainworksglobal.com/new/test/If you look at the event in June, there’s a shortcode for a Register link. If you go one month ahead to July, the same event is there, but the registration shortcode only shows as the bracketed code, not the functional field and button. Then if you click back a month to June, that one shows that way now too.
This seems to happen with any kind of shortcode, not just this registration code from Cart66.
The only way I can get it to work is to use a block of html code, but shortcodes would be better for when my clicnt has to update her listings.

I dont know what to tell you, the events are populated for future months via AJAX and it uses the_content() function within and seems like its not running your other shortcode.
