Please help. Uploaded files disappear during checkout. ty in advance

fixed it.

After updating, the plugin requires activation – so an update will deactivate the plugin on a live site despite an active license. This is the only plugin which “looses” the license details. Can you solve this? Thx, Frank

Not “an” update, only this update. It needs to request the activation again in order to make its new embedded update system to work properly.

In this new version, if you have a valid support license still active, you will receive an update notification and you can automatically update the plugin (as happens for plugins hosted on the WordPress depository).

Ok, I understand. Thank you

Attachments have stopped coming in with orders – I updated the plugin to the latest version with support and also verified Checkout – Files to order association method is still set to when the order is placed. I have debug mode turned on but am not seeing any errors – any other suggestions to the cause of this? Everything was working fine until a few days ago.

You can ignore – seems like a caching issue after the update. Appears to be working now.

Glad to hear that :)

last update messed things up with my license and now saying that I have to renew support to get updates.

This is a new feature. The plugin, until the latest version, hasn’t any inbuilt updating system. If you to have that feature, you have just to renew the support license. It is a few dollars renewal that contributes to keep the development alive and I would really appreciate.

This should be only enabled on new license though. I signed up for this plugin as it was advertising free lifetime updates. IMHO this new feature should be enabled for people that bought the plugin after you made that change,

The license doesn’t include updates, it allows you to download the plugin lifetime from CodeCanyon. That you can still do, you can manually download the plugin from it. The new version will be released also on CodeCanyon.

The automatic plugin update feature instead requires a valid support license.

Hi!

After the last update, plugin required the activation code.

When i introducing the user name and purchase coding, he says “purchase code is invalid”.

My purchase code is from february 1 2024.

Any solution from this?

THX.

Sorry, after this comment, the activation says sucessful…

I dont nothing understand!

No problem:)

image thumbnails do not appear if they are tiff images, is this by design? If so is there a way around it? Thank you.

because tiff image preview is not supported by the HTML standard.

Hello, After the last update, orders can no longer be executed. Only the error message “We could not process your order, please try again” is displayed With activated wp_debug I get the following message: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/order-approval-woocommerce/includes/class-sg-order-approval-woocommerce-payment-gateway.php:36) in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/classes/frontend/WCUF_CheckoutPage.php on line 305

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Hi,
i’m sorry, but the issue is raised by a script that is part of the “order-approval-woocommerce/” plugin, not the WooCommerce Upload Files plugin.

furthermore, on line 305 there is any statement: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/zwum27qo1yr6sxgd18ypo/wcuf_code.png?rlkey=4an8tgi50fanoj5615c8fzubk&dl=0

Make sure you are actually running the latest plugin version and that there are no 3rd party plugins interfering

Hi Vanquish. I am trying to enable dropbox, and it does send the file to my dropbox fine. However in the backend, on the customer order page, the link to the file does not seem to work. It just downloads a HTM file (download.htm) Here is an example link of a test order I did. I changed the domain for security reasons, but hoping this gives you an idea. https://notmydomain.com/?dropbox_get_item_link=%2Fnotmydomain%2F61359%2F8908-0-1%2Fbezel_compact_19048_42672.png Its not a huge issue, since I can go to dropbox and grab it, but wondering if there is an easy fix, or maybe some configuration I need to change? Thanks

Hi,
unfortunately I have no clue. I’ve just performed a test and in a fully working envoriement it works as expected. It seems that your server for some reasons is preventing to access the file.

It could be due to a security setting. Try anyway to perform a clean installation of the plugin: download the latest version from codecanyon, delete your current one and reinstall. don’t worry you won’t lose any setting.

For further help, if you renew your support license and send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:
  1. your email address
  2. full admin access to the wp-admin area
  3. FTP access
  4. a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue

I can perform some further tests to see if it is possible to determine the cause. Thank you.

I tried what you said. Change the dropbox user and the Woocommerce upload files folder is created, but the images do not upload. I tried to upload it to the local server and it didn’t work either. You cannot see the preview of the uploaded file or upload it to the cloud. What else could it be? I need your help.

I’m sorry, unfortuantely I have no clue. It seems the issue is related to the server, not on the plugin. For this you should eventually contact your hosting to have more clues.

What I can say is to try to give a look to the server error_log and to enable the Wordpress debug mode and debug log and see if in more clues are also reported in the debug.log you find in the wp-content folder.

Hello! I tried what you told me but I still can’t upload the file. It does not appear in dropbox or the preview on the test page. What else could it be? I need your help.

Hello,
try using a differnt DropBox account, the issue might be related to the one you are using.

Hi, I have a question.

With file approval is it possible to change the notification text?

When a file is approved it just says “Please check Order #15532. The status of some files has been changed.”

Hi,
I’m sorry, for now there is any option to customize it. For now, you can customize by editing the WCUF_Email.php file you find int he classes\com folder at line 106.

Hello! buy the plugin. It installs without problems but when entering the plugin the following message appears “called console.warn, with 1 argument(s)” and then the following message “called console.debug, with 1 argument(s)”

Also, I tried to upload images on the test page and when the upload finished there was no trace of the uploaded file. Neither in the folder created in dropbox. Could you help me

Hello,
the message can be safely ignored if you are able to create, edit and delete the fields in the configuration menu. You can disable those dialogs via the following option: https://nimb.ws/Td4RIpZ

Regarding the upload issue, it seems that something is interfering with the user session management preventing the plugin to save the just uploaded data reference into the user session. So once you perform the upload, no action seems to be performed. To avoid this interference, try to enable this option: https://nimb.ws/UaPIWz1

Hi, I am updating only thru wordpress extensions. Never thru Envato. I tried again and impossible to update the plugin. Thanks

The CodeCanyon plugin can be automatically updated only via the Envato updater. If you are experiencing any issues, you should contact the Envato support team.

If you wish to manually update the plugin, just delete the existing one and install the new one you can download from CodeCanyon. Don’t worry, doing so won’t make you lose any setting.

Hi Vanquish, I solved the issue. It was a server storage capacity problem that was not unabling to update extensions. Thanks

Glad to hear that :)

last but not least, I would ask you to help me: If you enjoyed my efforts to assist you and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars…It would help me with sales, I would really appreciate it! :)

Have a great day!

Hi, we have got a problem with your plugin, it crashes the php with a fatal error.

The PSR logger you use seems to be very old…

The log is: [16-Apr-2024 07:07:21 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Declaration of Mpdf\PsrHttpMessageShim\Request::withRequestTarget(string $requestTarget): Psr\Http\Message\RequestInterface must be compatible with Psr\Http\Message\RequestInterface::withRequestTarget($requestTarget)

Can you help us with that problem?

Best regards

ok, but the issue is related to the script that is part of the woocommerce-cart-pdf/ plugin. You should eventually ask for support from them.

It might be that both plugins include the same 3rd party library, but that plugin is including an older version.

Try eventually to change the load order, switching the Upload files with that plugin using a load order plugin like: https://wordpress.com/it/plugins/plugins-load-order to see if helps in any way.

..so both supports say: the other plugin has the older library version ;)

Thank you very much for the hint with load order, it worked fine!!! So everything turned out well.

Glad to hear that!

Hi Vanquish, I can’t update Woocommerce upload files. I got the following message : The archive could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature Thanks, David

Hi,
are you updating the plugin via the Envato updater? If so, you should ask support to Envato.

What I can suggest is to delete the old plugin and then reinstall the new one via the WordPress Plugins menu (don’t worry, you won’t lose any setting doing in this way).

Hi vanquish, I just revamped by brand and as a result I have a new domain name. Can you deactivate the upload files plugin from my old domain and activate on my old domain?

Hi,
The Envato usage license policy allows you to use the software in only one end product (website), not one end product at a time. This means that the license cannot be migrated from one product to another.

Websites are uniquely identified by the associated domain. Once you register a domain that will become the end product for which you are licensed to use the software.

The plugin activation system, however, allows you to activate the license in two domains (the second one should be for testing purposes). In each domain, you can activate unlimited subdomains and subfolders.
If you consumed all these options, you need to buy another license in order to be compliant with the Envato usage policy.

Hello my friends, i’ve a pre sale question.

I have products with several variations. However, one of them (variation) is without customization, is it possible for the “image upload” option to appear in all variations except the option that is not customizable?

Check the image: https://ibb.co/KskyjH7

Thank you so much!

Hello,
You can try using the following option to hide the upload field only for the specific variation: https://nimb.ws/UwcvM2r but it will be visible for any other product.

If you need, I can implement a small customization to display the upload field only for the product you need for exception of the variation you don’t need. If interested, send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) reporting your email and I’ll send you the quotation.

Hey, I installed your plugin “WooCommerce Upload Files” but for some reason now I can’t connect it to DropBox.

I tried on a different browser, on incognito… but nothing works.

The files will not go to DropBox… while on DropBox settings the APP shows that it has permission.

It worked before, but now doesn’t.

Can you help me?

Hi,
unfortunately if you have issue with dropbox, I cannot give assistance for that service. Make sure you have enought space and you have not restricted the WooCommerce Upload Files app.

Try recreating the WooCommerce Upload Files DropBox app: Go to the setting area, application and delete the existing one: https://nimb.ws/zXfP3SF then try to re-perform the authentication.

try also to enable the WordPress debug mode and debug log ( https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/ ). To do that insert the following lines in the wp-config.php you find on the root of your site:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
reperform the test and see if more clues are reported in the debug.log located in the wp-content folder.
