A quick pre-sale question. Is it possible to set up that prices for a product go up after certain amount of purchases of a specific product. E.g. initial price is 100, 10 first buyers get it for this price, but then it is bumped up by 10, so next 10 pay 110, when total 20 purchases of this product have been done, next bump, price is now 120… and so on. I’m looking to reward fast decision making and create a FOMO. Is this plugin suitable for that?
Is it possible to have a buy x get y scenario where people always have to pay shipping costs, no matter what the free shipping threshold is?
Hello, We really need the “as low xx$” or “from xx$” price option. It’s a discount plugin but we can’t display the discount price in the loop or in the product page. Thanks in advance for the futur update.
Unfortunately, I had to disable the plugin on all sites and change to another one. It turned out that it loads the server CPU a lot for no reason.
Hi, I’ve purchased the plugin but cant find if the following is possible:
If product X is added to the basket and free products Y and Z are added, If product X is removed from the cart can products Y and Z be removed automatically from the cart? I want products Y and Z as free gifts for one product X and if they don’t purchase that then I don’t want the user to be able to get products Y and Z (they are subscription sign up gifts)
Also, if product X is added to the cart so products Y and Z are added to the cart as free gifts it doesn’t show in the basket. One product is fine but two doesn’t show.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Do you have a shortcode to place the modal link wherever I choose? Perhaps I can turn it into a shortcode?
Hello,
Could you please specify which feature this is in reference to? Are you referring to a volume pricing table?

Can we add a promo page and loop all current offers on to one page for the customer to see?
Hello,
This is one of the most asked features so we will likely have this implemented soon.
Currently the plugin calculates discounts on the fly and there’s no direct way to pull a list of products that have discounts applicable without checking them one by one. We are going to introduce this capability.

Any chance this is coming soon also last week we did some support questions but no reply yet. Any idea when we can get support please. Or any updates ?

I want to create a feature that prompts customers while in the shopping cart, indicating how much they can save when purchasing a specific product. Here’s the rule: when product A is added to the cart, categories B and C in the cart receive a 20% discount. On the frontend, if only categories B and C are in the cart, it should prompt “Add product A to save {{discount}}.”
{{discount}} represents the actual calculated amount, similar to the functionality provided by the original plugin, but I want it to display before the conditions are met.
My main concern is how to get the various data set in the rule, such as: product A, 20%, categories B and C.
Hello,
We have a similar feature under the Promotion tab called “Product Banners”, however, it works in a slightly different way. In your example, product banner would be displayed on products in categories B and C if product A is already in cart.
I’ve added this as a feature request to our development backlog. We are planning quite a few new features this year and will consider this one as well.

I applied the Buy 1 get 1 Rule but now user are buying it for multiple times, how to restrict the user to buy only one time
Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
Pricepep currently does not track whether a customer has used a particular discount in the past. You can limit a discount to apply once per cart but not once per user (lifetime).
We are considering adding this feature.

Hello. I have posted this error 5 months ago. Back then, the error was only at warning level. Now it throws Fatal error. You have responded (5 months ago) that you will update the plugin.

Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
Judging from the file name, you are using a version of the plugin that is 7+ years old. The plugin no longer contains a file called rightpress-helper.class.php.
Please make sure to update the plugin to the latest version.

is it possible to create a discount, that gives all logged in users, the 1 item free, if multiple items then give the first one free of each product.
If users buys 1, then FREE. if users buys 2, then the first one free,
the product is not always the same price, and might have multiple in the same cart.
no matter what, if logged in then give first ticket free
Thank you
Hello,
Thanks for your question.
That would be possible by creating a Tiered Pricing rule.
If you want to make sure customers can’t get the same product for free more than once, please add one of the Purchase History conditions to check if uses has purchased this product in the past.
Paul
Hello Support,
When we have product in cart and lots of categories on which we applied the discount, that time your plugin eats server memory, I sent you 3-4 emails, But didn’t get any response regarding this. Can you please let me know how we can fix this issue?
Hello,
Sorry for keeping you waiting – you should have received a response by now.
Paul
Hi,
I sent an email from your support page and I did not get any reply, its about the 1st, 2nd and 3rd product discount. Please check.
Thanks.
Hello,
You should have received a response by now to the request you submitted yesterday. Sorry that it took a while to get to it.

Hello, can you please add the option to always display the countdown regardless if a variation is selected, and also in the product loop? The whole point of the countdown is to incentivize selling but if it’s concealed most of the time it’s almost useless. Thank you
Hello,
This will be done along with other promotion tools that currently load only on variation selection (e.g. volume pricing table). But please note that the countdown timer will only be shown on page load if a discount is applicable to all variations.
Please keep an eye for new version releases over the next few months.

Is this possible to customize Bulk/Tiered price from individual product edit page? I can see that it is applied globally. Any way to achieve this? For example: Globally Bulk quantity based price applied. Also override possibility from individual product edit page. Or only manually apply the Bulk quantity discount from individual product edit page?
Hello,
Pricepep does not add pricing rule editing capability to the product edit page, however, you can achieve this by adding a product condition to one of the pricing rules. You can either have a positive condition to target specific product or you can have a negative one to exclude a product from all products.
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Hello,
Looks like the plugin is encountering an array value where it is not expecting it.
Could you kindly get in touch with us through the contact form on https://pricepep.com/support/ so that we can investigate this properly?
Thanks!
Paul
Hello, I want to automatically add an “Outlet” category on products with a percentage of discount. I’ve made a function that does this but it only works when Im updating a product from the backend. Is there a way to trigger it upon saving filters in your plugin?
Thank you
PS: I tried using the support forum ticket with this very text but it says I’m blocked…
Hello,
Currently Pricepep does not allow you to filter/list all discounted products on one page. We are getting this request more and more frequently so we will implement this in the new future.
P.S. Where did you try to submit a request where you were told you were blocked? Is that on pricepep.com or support.rightpress.net?
Paul
Hello, I tried from https://pricepep.com/support/
I don’t need to list all the products in one page with the plugin, it would be enough to query them in php, I would do the category logic. Does your plugin add a metatag for discount or maybe there’s a way to read the plugin db for discounted products?
Thank you
Thank you, I will try to check what the problem is with the contact form. It seemed to work for me the last time I tested.
Pricepep calculates price adjustments on the fly – they are not set in product meta or such. There is a caching layer that you could try using. Try to look under _rightpress_prices in product meta data.
Paul
Hello, I lookend in the _rightpress_prices and I can see the “cached” prices, however they are updated upon viewing the product in the website. Could you point me to the hook or function that updates this meta data? This way I could chain my script and check if the product is discounted. Thanks
Hello,
The file is rightpress/components/rightpress-product-price/classes/rightpress-product-price-shop.class.php
The actual updating happens in method store_cached_prices() but other methods play a role as well, e.g. you can look at cache_price() and other methods in that class.
Paul
FYI – The contact form on pricepep.com has been fixed. This was due to too strict security settings in our firewall. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention!

Hi! I have updated the plugin to the latest version, I have also updated WooCommerce, WordPress and I have also tried updating the theme to the latest version. In no case is the error removed. When the user adds a product that has a discount applied with the plugin, the SUBTOTAL appears without a discount and leads to confusion. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. I changed its settings, deleted the discount rule and created it again… and nothing. It seems very bad to me that you do not provide support, because it is clearly an error in the plugin, and I need an urgent solution.
Hello,
Thank you for raising this issue in the public forum.
As we’ve previously discussed in private communication, the issue appears to be related to either the theme or a third-party plugin responsible for the specific mini cart functionality on your site. I’ve conducted tests using the mini cart in WooCommerce’s Storefront theme, and it operates as expected.
I realize encountering such an issue can be quite frustrating. However, it’s important to note that requesting us to resolve a problem not originating from our plugin, especially considering your support subscription expired six years ago, is somewhat unreasonable.
Paul
is it possible to show the price with and without vat for a product? BOth the original and discounted price (so: display 4 prices)
Hello,
The plugin does not have this functionality and it is slightly out of scope for the plugin so I’m not sure if we will ever develop it.
