i just purchased last night. I am unable to enter any voucher. error is at least one bank or cash ledger has to be on credit side for this entry type.
This is bookkeeping rule, you are entering vouchers in wrong way. first learn the bookkeeping accounting rules.

Is there a receipt/invoice saving feature to journal entries? Can this be used to multiple businesses? Are all the features and functionally in General Ledger version found in the Advanced version? Do I have the ability to turn off features that I don’t need? Another words I’d like both versions, General and Advanced, if I buy the better one, will it include the basic one, if I don’t need the advanced features now… but may want them later.

I just bought it and my programmer who tried to configure it told me that this system needs a database with a root username and password to be able to work.

yes we need the root password because the system requires to create new database for each new company/account you create.
What is this root user and password?
