There is a validation issue within zip code field in the customer’s account address form. When a new address address is entered, the zip code field is not validating against leading and trailing blank spaces. The form is allowing users to save a zip code with leading and trailing blank spaces.
The validation is performed by invoking the native WooCommerce WC_Validation::is_postcode() method, so it might be the issue is WooCommerce related.
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I can perform some further tests too see if it possible to implement a workaroud.
NOTE: all the requested points are mandatory, do not forget to report any of them.
Thank you for your collaboration.
I recreated the issue on your demo site. Just login as a customer, add a new shipping address within the customers my account addresses section, add a leading or trailing blank space to the zip code field and save it. If you can find a workaround it would be great.
Thank you for reporting. Please update to the latest 24.3 I’ve just released. Once installed, remember to purge the cache.
Now the plugin trims the data (replacing the original) to avoid this issue. Give it a try and let me know!
Thank you for the quick update. Validation is now working correctly.
Glad to hear that!

Hello! I wanted to know if the country selection will be limited to what is allowed in my Woocommerce setup. Our site only offers to 2 countries and it is a waste of customers time if all of the countries are showing up. I’m asking because, I’ve already tried one plugin and it doesn’t work like that. If ever, this will be the second plugin to try.
Hello,
yes the plugin displays only the “allowed countries”!
Hi, just a quick question, the plugin is compatible with Woocommerce blocks?
Hi,
what do you mean for compatible?
If i use the new Woocommerce blocks insted the checkout shortcode i can choose addresses in checkout? Like this: http://tinyurl.com/22tehuaa
Most likely it won’t. The plugin hooks to some actions (for example ‘woocommerce_before_checkout_billing_form’ ) to inject its components into the checkout page.
If you are using a custom page that is not triggering the same actions triggered by the default checkout template, the plugin won’t be aware that the current page is the checkout page so it won’t render its data.
Bit is not a custom page, im using the woocommerce new cart feature (previous woocommerce blocks)
If it is not using the default checkout template and if not triggering the needed actions, it is a custom checkout.
Ok
Hi.
Just made a fresh intall of your plugin on url : poulainsdecolipain.com My account page allows the addition of billing and/or shipping addresses but the cart page do not display the choice per product. I use Salient Theme template and WP Bakery.
Thank you. D.
Hi,
I’m sorry, but what do you mean that the cart page doesn’t display the choice per product? The product addresses can be selected only on the checkout page. Note also that the plugin is designed to work with the default WooCommerce template. If you are running the software on a custom page that is not triggering the actions and filters triggered by the default template, the plugin cannot be aware of what is happening and eventually injects its controller on pages.
In any case, to understand if the issue you are experiencing is caused by a plugin malfunction, please use the following site: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcmca/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your scenario and report to me how to experience the issue. I’ll investigate further. Thank you for your collaboration.
Even when I install WP theme and delete all plugin associated with my website, yours doesn’t display as the demo. I do not have the option to split or the billing or shipping adresses at checkout. If you want to check that PM. D.
Hi again. Too much time spent for nothing. Please refund my purchase as the EU directive allows it within the 14 days. https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32011L0083&rid=1 Thank you.
Damien
The EU directive doesn’t apply to software (once downloaded) and for music. Otherwise, any user could use such argumentation, download the software, claim a refund, and use it for free. Furthermore, the support is not a 24/7 service, and processing requests takes time.
Did you perform the test I’ve requested on the demo site? Did you try to switch the theme? The one you are using might be implementing a custom checkout page. As reported in the plugin description page, altering the checkout page in any way might lead the plugin to not work as expected.
If none of the above helped, If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I can perform some further tests to see if it is possible to determine the cause.
NOTE: all the requested points are mandatory, do not forget to report any of them.
Thank you for your collaboration.
Hi. I am desperate. I have installed the plugin and it is working beautifully in terms of multiple shipping addresses but it is not charging a shipping fee oer item. HELP!!
Hi
The key is to understand if the issue is caused by a plugin malfunction or a 3rd party interference.
Please use the following clean installation: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcmca/ (user:demo, pass:demo) to recreate your scenario and report to me if you are experiencing the issue and if so, how to do. I’ll investigate further.
HI.
I am interested in buying your plugin. A few pre-sale questions : _ does the plugin work with WP Bakery / Salient Theme _ do you have a demo with the one address per product shipping, the one on Envato doe not propose such possibility _ if all products are virtual (no expedition method needed) mays the customer choose between different billing addresses only ?
Thank you.
Damien
Sorry : I found out the settings in the admin panel.
Last : what’s your refund policy ?
Glad you fund what you were serching!
About Envato refunds, you can read more here: https://codecanyon.net/page/customer_refund_policy#:~:text=Any%20refund%20issued%20by%20Envato,not%20be%20eligible%20for%20dispute.
Hi, do you have API for saving addresses from external sources? Or eventually hooks or functions? thanks, Marco
Hi,
no it hasn’t any API or Hooks. However, once purchased, I can show you which functions can be invoked to programmatically save addresses via external code (example via another plugin or via the functions.php).
Hello Please can I ask you to look into an issue where product custom fields are being blocked from appearing in the order admin? Can I send details and staging to check? Many thanks
Hello,
what do you mean for product custom fields are being blocked from appearing in the order admin?
To which custom field are you referring? Could you provide a more detailed description of the issue?
Hello. I am using version 17.9 of the WooCommerce Multiple Customer Addresses & Shipping plugin. First off, I have no option to update it in WordPress. Secondly, I am consistently encountering issues with duplicate ids, specifically #wcmca_user_id. This is causing me issues, especially as I am writing Playwright tests for our product. Please advise. Thank you.
Hello,
to ask for support you need to have a valid purchase and support license. You can buy the plugin via CodeCanyon. Once bought, you can also use the Envato updater tool to have automatic updates.
Hello, on the Account Dashboard and Addresses, they are shown in one column with all addresses listed underneath by billing & shipping, but on your plugin page screenshot, they show as two columns of addresses. I am happy to send you screenshots. Thank you.
Hello,
most likely there is a CSS interference (by your theme or other 3rd party plugin) that are preventing the data to be rendered in two columns.
To identify the cause, try to temporarily switch theme (and eventually disable the other plugins) to see if you still experience the issue.
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- login account for which I can verify the issue
I can perform some further tests to see if it is possible to determine the cause and IF it is possible to implement a workaround.
NOTE: all the requested points are mandatory, do not forget to report any of them.
Thank you for your collaboration.
I’ve noticed that there are some obsolete PHP errors (8.2), which slows down the site, especially on the back office side.
Thank you for reporting, please update to the latest 24.0 version.
Sorry, but I can’t see any improvement, the errors are still there.
It sounds strange you get exactly the same error. If you edit the WCMCA_HTML.php file (classes\com folder) at line 14, you won’t find any null passed as parameter.
To have further support, please renew your support license and share the following:- wp-admin access
- FTP access
- step by step guide on how to experience the issue
Hi, I tried the demo and couldn’t really understand how to add multiple address for existing customer from the back end and choose them when creating an order. It would be highly beneficial if you make a video of how to use the plugin and upload in youtube Looking forward to hearing from you Thanks
Hi,
to add addresses via the backend, edit a user profile via the Users area: https://nimb.ws/6C3B27 adding the addresses you need.
Once you created an order, edit the billing/shipping address (by clicking the pencil button) and load one of the available addressed from the multiple addresses list: https://nimb.ws/zZ0GcC
Hello, please help me with the following problem: on the order completion page when I want to add a new address, nothing happens, the circle keeps spinning endlessly, can you help me?
Hello, without any further clue it is quite hard to determine the cause of the issue. it could depend on a plugin issue or a 3rd party interference.
Please, could you use the following site: https://codecanyondemo.work/wcmca (use: demo, pass: demo) to recreate your scenario and report if you are experience the issue?
If not, please if in your site you have altered in any way the checkout page, restore the original. Try also to disable the other 3rd party plugins. Give also a look at the browser error console, some more clues might be reported in there.
Hello. There seems to be an issue with the state/province selectors when adding a new shipping address when using the OceanWP theme. When I use OceanWP theme and try to add a new shipping address the county sets as Canada which is fine but no provinces load. When I try using another theme it works great. Any ides before I reach out to OceanWP?
Hello,
It could friend on a JavaScript interference. It could be that theme is including some JavaScript libraries interfering with the ones defined by the plugin.
Please try giving a look to the browser error console to see if any further info is reported. Thank you.
I want to display addressed in box and all address will be in row col. and display add address button. when click all pop form will be open but want to hide default form. can you help me? is it possible with this plugin?
Hi,
I’m sorry the plugin hasn’t any option for that. The support license doesn’t include any customization service.
Hello We are changing from another address plugin to yours. I see your import feature but I don’t see any instructions. Do we need to import all shipping and billing addresses for each client into your plugin?| Or just the additional ones? Do you have a template of the import file required with examples of the inputs so we can add ours in the correct format please? Thanks Paul
Hello,
you can find the instructions on how the CSV has to be formatted on the import page: https://nimb.ws/iKl7RE
Each CSV line is an additional address. The template file can be found in the Import via CSV paragraph on the plugin description page (after the infographic). You can download by clicking here.
Hi,
Query Monitor is throwing those deprecated warning/error
Obsolète strpos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecated wp-includes/functions.php:7241 2 Extension : woocommerce-multiple-customer-addresses Obsolète str_replace(): Passing null to parameter #3 ($subject) of type array|string is deprecated wp-includes/functions.php:2187 2 Extension : woocommerce-multiple-customer-addresses
Hi,
You should eventually report the issue you get in the debug.log (after activating the WordPress debug log) reporting which specific script and line is causing the error.
The log you shared is just a text printed by a third party plugin that doesn’t report any reference to specific scripts (and line number). So unfortunately it is quite hard to determine by which statements those errors are eventually raised.
Hi,
I have the message :
An active PHP session was detected A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.
It’s caused by WooCommerce Multiple Customer Addresses & Shipping
How to fix this ?
Hi,
you can ignore that message, the plugin won’t interfere with the REST API (if you are using it).
Hi,
Thanks for you awnser. However, it’s hard to explain to our customer. Can you explain why the plugin triggering that error ?
That’s is not an errors, is a warning that warns about the fact that behavior might be interfering with the REST API (if you are using that feature).
Hi, Great plugin, however it doesn’t seem to be able to apply free delivery thresholds to each address? If I have free delivery threshold set to £30, and i have two items £15 and £15 going to different addresses, it seems to allow both of them to ship for free. Is this a bug? Thankyou
Hi,
yes because the plugin hans’t any free delivery option
