I started to use this plugin a few days ago and i encountered on an issue that i cant create an internal link for 2 word phrases such as: “Fun games” , “Sandals knifes”.

The keywords should be set manually. You can do this one by one or in bulk (for example by copying the keywords from an existing spreadsheet).

When I use “AIL” I add keyword to an article, how to avoid the AIL for the current article it points to? for example: I have 10 articles that points to an article, but the AIL keyword also present on that article, as far as I know, its not good for SEO to points the AIL keyword to the same article

you can avoid this behavior by setting the Interlinks -> Advanced -> Ignore Self AIL option to “Yes”.
Please also verify that there is an exact match between the linking page and the defined Target field of the AIL. The presence of additional trailing slashes or other characters might prevent this feature to properly match the URLs.
In addition, please clear the server cache (if present) to see the update pages.

Hi, Could the tool create internal links pointing to scheduled posts? Let say today we create internal links from an existing post to a scheduled post. I want the internal links in existing page only be shown/active once the scheduled post are published on the scheduled date. It helps a lot during internal links planning for schedule posts, while prevent the 404 error for linking to a scheduled post. Please advise how to achieve it, thanks.

Possible workflow I could think of: 1. Use automatic links feature to bulk plan keywords for scheduled posts 2. Automatic links only create interlinks for published posts to prevent 404 error for scheduled post, while keep a record for scheduled post 3. Automatic links regularly runs by cron-job to add interlink to newly published posts (those scheduled post reaching the publish date)
Do you think the above solution is workable to solve the issue?
Will definitely switch dozens of my blogs to this tool if this use case can be achieved, thanks a lot.

1. 2. Yes, if this “activation on a specified date or in sync with post publishing” feature will be applied.
3. The automatic links are applied with filters when the posts are visited so a Cron job is not required for this specific task.

when “Require” is selected in the Interlinks -> Suggestions -> Categories option all the suggested posts will have the category of the edited post. If the edited post has more than one category all the suggested posts will have at least one category of the edited post.

In the Target (URL Path and/or File) field the site address is implied. The plugin considers internal links only the URLs that start with the Settings -> General -> Site Address (URL) of the WordPress installation.

Pre sales question: does it allow me to use gaps in keywords? So the keyword is balloon {+0} artist means it searches for a long term that starts with balloon and ends with artist and links the whole phrase or sentence to the page. Example: balloon twisting artist or balloon is a great way to entertain using an artist ect. 2nd question: does it work with wp-rocket? Will the automatic links be created after before the cache will be written or dynamically as soon as the page loads no matter if it’s from a cache or not?

3. When the page is generated with WordPress and PHP the automatic links are added dynamically with the the_content filter. When the page is server from the cache the automatic links are already there and no processing is required.
