In my opinion. the new SEO “toolkit” is probably the worst idea ever. Everyone is already using SEO plugins like Yoast. And the only thing it does is add page/post meta tags so you still need an SEO plugin for all your other SEO needs.
The new feature is probably just added bloat for 99% of people. And it can’t even be disabled via the Plugin settings panel. When adding new features like AI/SEO it would be really nice if these functions could be disabled in the admin panel so if you don’t need the features you don’t have to worry about the added bloat.
I’m really just so confused about this addition…Was this something a lot of people requested? I would be very surprised if it was.

Hello, The issue with third-party SEO plugins is that they can detect and analyze the plain text. However, most fail to correctly analyze the content if it is rendered using shortcodes. As you know, the WPBakery Page Builder renders its content using shortcodes. This caused the issue in analyzing the content rendered by it. We had complaints from users to make it easier for them to analyze the content rendered by the page builder so that they can improve the content SEO. The new SEO tool is tailor-made for the page builder. In its current release, it can set various metadata and control the content displayed on social media when the post/page link is shared. The key feature is the content analysis which analyses the content from the page builder and suggests changes based on it so that the content can be improved while the page is being built.

Hello, Please make sure that in page layour you are using a default layout. If you select the blank layout, then the page will not display the header and footer from the theme.

Hello, The issue sounds like a conflict with plugin/theme. You can backup the site and then check it by deactivating the plugin one by one except WPBakery Page Builder. You can also check it by switching onto a default theme like twenty twenty four to make sure that the conflict is not arising from the theme.

Found the problem. Apparently, your theme works with PHP 7.3 and lower. PHP 8.0 and higher doesn’t work. Can you please send me a update file or update your theme so I can run it under 8+ version? On top of that, we get 500 errors.

The border you’re seeing on your end is likely added by a third-party plugin or theme. To remove it, we’ll need to apply custom CSS code. Unfortunately, we can only provide this custom CSS code through our support portal.

Your support team will only respond if i renew my support contract and pay.

As you can see in the link shared in the previous reply, the standard flex gallery does not have a border. This border might be from the theme if deactivating the plugins does not have any effect on it’s appearance.

Hello, there are some issues with PHP 8.2. In js_composer/include/helpers/helpers_api.php there are some preg_match calls with the @ suppressor. Errors are hidden but a “php-error” class is appended to the body class causing an unwanted margin on the WP menu sidebar when editing a post type (page, post, etc).

Hello, My support has expired. Anyway this is a bug and it should be solved. Also, it is super easy to replicate, there’s no need to open a ticket. Just enable PHP 8.2 on your server. You will see this margin (https://lopezb.d.pr/i/nVSGXt) which is caused by this class (https://lopezb.d.pr/i/F1qjfe) which is caused by all these preg_match with the suppressor symbol @ in js_composer/include/helpers/helpers_api.php (https://lopezb.d.pr/i/sh9mF0).

Hi, Did you activate the debug? I installed WPBakery Page Builder 7.3 on a new and clean installation. No other plugins are active, and Twenty-TwentyFour is the active theme. The margin appears as soon you activate the debug. And the line that causes the issue is the number 419 in js_composer/include/helpers/helpers_api.php.

Is it possible to fix the function “fixPContent” in class-vc-base.php? Since PHP 8.1 it is deprecated to pass null to functions like preg_match and such. Lots of plugins use that function in the_content filter, so returning null at the end of fixPContent is returning lots of deprecated errors further along the path. That being said, returning null here is useless anyway, a filter should always return the original content if requirements are not met. So changing “return null” to “return $content” on line 747 would be the proper WP to do it. Thanks in advance.

Are you guys pushing a banner on all Wordpress admin dashboards that says “Make a difference one tree at a time” and it goes to an external #wpgivesahand campaign website? Hello, The issue in this case is because the Yoast SEO analyser parses the content added in editor which is in shortcode format instead of analysing the actual page content which is rendered as HTML. Due to this, it is unable to detect the content that is rendered by the elements. This does not affect the actual page SEO because page content renders as HTML which site engines can crawl and index.

I’ve found WPBakery as an integrated plugin in a theme and would now like to purchase a licence for it, but first, please, I would like to know whether once purchased it and activated, is possible replace the current shortcodes en masse – via PHP or otherwise – with the builder’s own shortcodes, rather than ‘rebuilding’ each page of the site.

Hello, Thanks a bunch for thinking about grabbing the plugin! I wanted to give you a quick heads-up: currently, there isn’t an automatic way to replace the existing shortcodes within your pages. To make the switch, you’ll need to hop into the editor, delete the old shortcodes, and then add in the new ones.
If you’re creating new pages or posts, you can automate the process by setting a template under the plugin’s generate settings. That way, the new shortcodes/elements will be automatically added to fresh pages or posts.

Why are you withholding updates from CodeCanyon customers? It’s painfully obvious you are attempting to push customers to your own personal website to convert more customers by forcing them to download the update from your site.
Last update you told everyone who asked where the update was, was that it was due to the CodeCanyon’s update queue. Do you not have trusted updates on your account? If so, the update should take less than an hour.
