Hi,
any chance to exclude certain elements from AJAX loading. I tried to enter this in settings in the input box for targeting the element for AJAX.
”#primary *:not(.oceanwp-grid-list)”
I would need it, as after successful AJAX load, the elements inside ”.oceanwp-grid-list” get stripped from their functions that make it possible to show product cards as grid or list view on archive page. They don´t work then anymore.
Thx and regards
Hi hwvaubel
You can check this page in order to understand the issue and how to resolve it – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-related-problems/\
As to the search issue, we will provide an answer after we finish working on the valid support users.
Please note that in general, there is no support for accounts whose support period has expired following the support policy.
But we can help you later after all requests from accounts with valid support periods are processed. It may take some time – days or weeks.
If you want to get it faster, please extend your support period and this request will be processed in the first queue for supported accounts.

Yes, I understand this. We wait patiently because we plan to go live next year, we have some time.
Regarding the search result page. One or another way we would like to find a solution here. If this get out of scope for support here, let us know, as we would be willing to pay for it as we really need the filter plugin to run on the search result page without problems! They have a good documentation and perhaps it´s not a big deal for you to get it running. Either way let us know how we can cooperate on this.
Hope we can find a solution here together.
Thx and regards
...about the ajax functions… yes, that´s what i thought… then i have to crawl through the functions and try to add “ready” to them. Sadly OceanWP seem not to feel responsible for making their functions ajax compatible even if the solution is presented to them easily.
Thx for confirming my assumptions on this.

Hi, on your site at “https://filtereverything.pro/resources/performance-recommendations/“ you recommend “Please, use OPCache, Redis/Memcache”, however when we enable this, our products and images fail to load. Is there anything specific we need to do for our product page to continue loading the products while the cache is enabled?
Thanks
Hi naturecan
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
If you mean that the filter plugin is working and only your products fail to load and their images, it is connected to what exactly you are using to display those products and images and if it is compatible with caching.

Hey there! Issue: On our course library page (https://cloudassess.com/course-library), the search filter isn’t delivering accurate results. When users search for courses using related words like “sales,” it doesn’t display relevant courses at the top position, providing irrelevant ones instead. Feel free to test it with any keyword to see the problem firsthand.
Solution: we want to prioritize the results so that:
1. If that keyword is in the title/heading, display first. 2. If that keyword is in the body, display next.
Hi Cloudassess
The search bar relied on the default WP search algorithms on your site. If you want to show posts with a matching title first and then display posts with a matching description, you can modify the search algorithm to perform two separate queries and then merge the results.
Best Regards,
- Victor
how can i modify this algorithm? I need your help to change this algorithm? Or you can refer me the plugin which can give me desired results?
We cannot help here as this functionality is not included in the plugin. You would need to write some custom code. What we can do is share the WP documentation page which includes basic info – https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Search_Page

Hi Stepasyuk -
2 Questions:
1. Is there any option to turn URL-prefixes into URL-suffix. This will make my filter URLs more SEO friendly and NLP friendly.
2. My website has a large number of products. I need to have multiple databases to have them all. So, what should be kept in mind to configure FE plugin for multiple database server website?
Thank you,
Hi unlockgrowth
1) In short, no. If not in short, by multiple modifications and customizations you can achieve it. But would require to rewrite quite a lot of code to make it work correctly. And still will cause conflicts.
2) In fact, our plugin should not not care how many databases there are. It makes a query to the database that is currently active in the PHP code and does this through the global variable $wpdb; Therefore, in principle, if you managed to configure WordPress so that it works with multiple databases, then the plugin should theoretically work there. It is made according to WordPress standards and therefore should work. But to be honest, we have never tested it in this mode. So maybe you will be the first one to do it.
In general, there is no support for accounts whose support period has expired following the support policy.

Thank you very much, Victor.
Hello there! I am thinking to buy your plugin and using this to create a Post Filter on my website.
Please tell me if it possible to have the bellow fields in filter bar:
1. Keyword search 2. Post Category 3. Post Publishing Year (FROM) 4. Post Publishing Year (TO) 6. Custom post field (a custom post ID)
Thank you in advance!
Hi nikoslefkas
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
1) The filter sets have the option to turn on the “Search Bar” which searches by title, description, and product SKU
2) You can create a filter from post categories.
3/4) The date filter should be released anytime soon and should have the ability for a date range filtering from this date to this date.

- Victor
Hi Guys
My client bought this software, and I am providing assistance to them for their website build. I have the purchase code if needed.
I have a problem with ONE of the filters not filtering. The website is built on Brics Builder.
On this category page, it works fine https://torchsa.com/product-category/flashlights1689676588/ however on this one it doesn’t seem to work https://torchsa.com/product-category/accessories/
Let me know what else you need to identify what the issue could be please.
It seems to work when logged in as admin but not when logged out. The website has no cache plugin active at the moment.
Hi weblabza
We kindly request that your client submit the question from their account. Additionally, if possible, please ask them to confirm your role as their developer for the project, so we can continue with you and provide the answers to other requests.
We have encountered similar situations in the past and fully understand the circumstances. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

Hi, I’m facing issue with double digit number fields when trying to create range slider in filter. It doesn’t take two digits after number only 5.1 5.2 etc. Here’s a better explaination of the issue – https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LgLgVJHd96_NfsuABKvDn78StnWOBes9e8Aj3Pe7avk/edit?usp=sharing
Hi interpret
If you set it as .01 it should provide the correct numbers as 5.01 – which for your height metric should be 5.1. So here is a simple presentation of the number and the height metric:
number : height
5.01 : 5.1
5.07 : 5.7
5.1 : 5.10
We are not very familiar with such metrics, but usually, they mean something like 5 feet 10 inches or something like that. Because if instead of 5.01 you’ll use 5.1 there will be no 5.10 as 5.10 in math is 5.1. So you need to take that into account. Then everything will work well.
What you can do is actually create custom field with options like 5 to 5.10 and so on and apply it on the posts. Then filter by those values.

Hi, before buying your plugin, could you tell me :
1) is your plugin compatible with Gutenberg block editor ? 2) is it possible to filter a query loop block in a page that contains other blocks (not in an archive page) with results paginated ? Do you have example pages of that behaviour ?
Thanks, Olivier
Hi Olivier
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
1) In the list of widgets that are available in Gutenberg, our widgets are available and can be found by its name “Filter Everything”. Or you can use a filter widget shortcode to place it in the needed place.
2) If you display your posts with WP_Query on the page you can filter them. By choosing the correct query from the filter set settings. The plugin does not add pagination, but some paginations may be incompatible, as they can ignore the filtered results and use instead the original data like it was not filtered at all.
We have only demo pages here – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/clothing/women/color-red/brand-hm/c-kind-dress/?max_price=100 you can check different demos. But it doesn’t have anything to do with Gutenberg.

In case of a navigation menu with a sub-menu, is it possible to show the child terms once I click on the parent term?
Thanks a lot for your answer
Hi tomenr
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
As to the license issue, we need the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can activate it on our back.
Not, such navigation is impossible. Only can be made by some custom coding extending the plugin functionality.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor, thanks for the answer. So I am gonna try to find a code in order to achieve the opening of the submenu.
Regarding the license issue, I just sent you the credentials.
Hi tomenr
The license is activated and now everything is working well.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi,
in some cases random filters on the search result page show up, although the filtered products don´t contain the filter / taxonomy.
- Hide empty terms is activated - Hide empty Filters is activated - Where to show filter is correctly set
It seems the filter plugin has it´s difficulties when the search phrases are no words but numbers.
1.) For example I searched for the article number “3930321” (taxonomy) which is the product “Wash Bag II” with multiple variations 2.) Search result page shows as expected that 1 product 3.) Filters are shown, that have nothing to do with the product (for example price range from 1 – 3200, etc. which will be the range of ALL products i think, and other random filters 4.) But if I enter the search with letters “Wash bag II” instead of numbers I get the same search result page, then the filters are shown correctly…
Any idea why this happens? Because we will have searches also with numbers to show that exact variation products…
Also use filters for variations is activated on every filter…
Regards and thx
Sadly I found some more inconsitencies for the search result page. Also when I search for example the phrase “exped” my result page shows me 46 results. But if I select for example in the “product category” filter all available product categories, result count is only 19 products and if I filter that there are also only 19 shown although here also should be 46.
It´s like the filter plugin doesn´t “recognize” really all the products that are thrown out at the result page. I don´t really know why it´s behaving like that…
The search result page is an important site for us where people should be able to filter the searched products correctly without missing some and without throwing out filters that when u use them throw out 0 products as they have none…
It would be awesome to find the root of this problem! Thanks again!
Hi hwvaubel
Sounds like you are using some type of third plugin for searching. In any case, please provide the links to the pages with the issues and step-by-step instructions that we can follow to see the issue.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi,
yes we use a very good plugin called “FiboSearch Pro” which can throw out search results depending when found in description, taxonomies, title, price, article number, sku, product-categories, prices, I think almost everything which is very useful and cool.
I sent u in private message the login as subscriber, if u need admin let me know and I sent also that for a staging site.
How to reproduce?
1.) Go to url sent in private message and view the live site
2.) You´ll find search bar in main menu (magnifying glass on right top side in menu)
3.) Enter the search “3930321” and hit ENTER
4.) You will be on search result page and see the filters on left side that have nothing to do with the product
5.) Filtering will result in 0 results on that page
6.) Repeat from step “3.)” with search phrase “exped”
7.) Click all Categories in Filter “Produktkategorien” here you can see that result count and after filtering is not the amount of search result products. Therefore products are “lost” during filtering.
Repeat from step 3.) as u wish with different numbers or search phrases like “deuter”, “robens”, “4856”, etc.
Almost always filters don´t show that should be there or some are missing or while filtering some are not recognized that they are there…
I always thought the filter plugin kind of “knows/saves” the products that are available through the pages / result page and filters depending on that products available… but I think it works differently.
Thanks for your help!
Hi hwvaubel
Our plugin seamlessly integrates with the WordPress search feature, enhancing its capabilities. Compatibility is contingent on the search plugin mechanism utilizing the “s” parameter. If the search is conducted using an alternative approach, compatibility may not be guaranteed. Looking ahead, we plan to implement a hook that will allow for the interception of our plugin’s search, and “connect” it with the search plugin’s functionality.
If you do not have a separate filter set placed on the search page, you can create it and place it specially on the search page and choose the correct query. If it still won’t work as intended, then it is not compatible.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
I already have a seperate filter set especially set for the search page with the query (there´s only one) set.
The plugin seems to use the “s” parameter just adding (&dgwt_wcas=1) behind the standard search:
URL: https://yoursite.com/?s=keyword&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1 Template: woocommerce/templates/archive-product.php
The filter plugin just ignores “some” products and kind of works. For example for search result “liegen matratze” seven products are shown. But the filter is missing here for example the category “Liegen” completly. Therefore when I select all categories in the filter it shows only four products and throws out the three products that would be in the category “Liegen” which not appears in the filter.
Also after filtering it seems to strip the url part “&dgwt_wcas=1”. But I think this is not the problem as from the beginning of successfull search, always the filterplugin leaves out some categories of the search result page.
It would be cool if you could have a look, it would be sad if we have to jump to another filter plugin just because of this, as we set your plugin up now 95 % as we need it and would have to invest again a lot of work…
We would be very thankful and as I said we are ready to invest when u can make this work.
Thanks and regards
Hi hwvaubel
We have checked it and it seems like this algorithm is not compatible at the moment. However, we are planning to make it work together and extend default searching capabilities.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
thanks for your reply. Ok, do you have a certain timeline for this. We plan to get online Feb / Mar next year. Do you think it will be done then? If not, we can offer financial support, if it doesn´t hit the ceiling, if you drag this to the more important features to add.
That would help us a lot.
Yeah, as u said, I checked a bit. So your plugin seems not to consider what happens inside the ? (&dgwt_wcas=1). When removing that part from url then results of search match exactly the amount of products the filter knows is in the query/search results.
Thanks again for your efforts!
Hi hwvaubel
Regrettably, we are unable to provide specific dates at the moment. We are currently working on numerous updates and small fixes that were postponed, which will be released in the near future.
Also releasing the dates filtering. So at the moment, it is impossible to provide information on it. But if we get any info we will let you know right away in this comment thread.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi,
ok. Still good to know that you are planing to implement this. So I think we will stay for now with your plugin as this is the only bigger issue we would have as the search result page is a very important filter site for our products.
Thanks for now and keep up the good work. I hope we can stay in contact about this future feature.
Regards!
Hello. Can I disable pretty URLs for some filters?
Hi spacetheme
No, you can either use it or disable it completely with:
define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );

Hello,
We have done an update to wordpress, theme and your filter everything plugin. After these updates, the pages on our site stopped displaying correctly. We think it is related to your plugin. Can you help us with this?
We did the updates on a copy of the site. You will be able to see how it was before the updates and after.
A working site that hasn’t been updated – https://ingrad.ee/
A copy of the site after the updates – https://new.ingrad.ee/
If we deactivate the filter everything plugin, the pages display correctly
Hi vitapi
Well, it is hard to tell without credentials what can go wrong. But more likely it is because of some additions to the Elementor. Also, there are quite a lot of errors in the console.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
I already sent the credentials
Kind regards
We have checked the site and it needs to be debugged in order to understand the issue. Also, would be nice to try it with the default team as well. Just for testing purposes if something will appear. Also would be nice to check the logs with errors if there is something there. It might be some type of conflict.
Please check all of those things, and let us know the results.
Best Regards,
- Victor
It’s not clear to me exactly what we need to do. Do we need to provide you with something to test?
We looked at the logs, and there are repeated warnings like this.
PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /wp-includes/functions.php:5905) in /wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1435
PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /wp-includes/functions.php:5905) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 6935
There’s also a recurrence of this notice
PHP Notice: Function wp_enqueue_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. This notice was triggered by the experience handle. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.0.) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 5905

Would be good to get access to the theme file editor and check the fucntions.php file. It provides some errors from there as well, but we cannot check it.
Best Regards, - Victor
Hi Victor,
We sent you FTP access to the themes the same way we sent you access to the site. Unfortunately, we can not provide access to the theme file editor.
Kind regards
Hi vitapi
We noticed that you had very old version of the plugin on your site. We have installed the new version (latest one) and everything is working correctly.
Please note in order to create filter sets you need to activate your plugin from Filters -> Settings -> License
You can read here how to get the license key in case you do not have it – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/license-key-issues/
Best Regards,

Hi Victor,
Thank you for your help.
We have filters for custom post types. After the update they disappeared and we added them again. Only they look different from the main site and we can’t make them look the same.
Pages with filters on the site copy:
https://new.ingrad.ee/objektid/ https://new.ingrad.ee/ostusoovid/Same pages with filters on the main site:
https://ingrad.ee/objektid/ https://ingrad.ee/ostusoovid/Can you help us with this too?
Thank you Kind regards
Also, if you apply a filter on a copy of the site, infinite loading occurs
Hi vitapi,
Can you describe in which way they look different? Like the order of filters or a bit different styles? What we noticed is that on the old site, you had custom styles on the filters. And on the new site, you do not have them.
About the AJAX infinite loading, you still need to remove all of the errors that you have on the site – https://prnt.sc/o45d_eNScW0V some of them are stopping AJAX from working correctly.
Best Regards,
- Victor
We fixed the problem with infinite loading.
The LINN JA PIIRKOND filter does not work and is not displayed on the page. We will now check the styles for the filters and let you know the result.
Kind regards
About not visible filter. This is a CSS issue of your theme that makes checkboxes display none – https://prnt.sc/G6EZq9EPAqg_
Best Regards,
- Victor
We checked the styles and we have all the styles. There is an assumption that the required styles are not applied, because the dropdown element for the filter has changed. We had it so that the list of checkboxes was initially hidden, and appeared after clicking on select
Kind regards
We had it so that the list of checkboxes was initially hidden, and appeared after clicking on select
Do you mean that you had some custom functionality for checkboxes with JS? That they will appear only if some filter term is selected from a dropdown?
Because we are a bit confused at the moment, and cannot understand fully what we can do for you as a support. As we are not responsible for the theme/custom styles.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi, how can we make sure the filter works in multiple languages using wpml. We get in other language the issue there is no html class / post container defined
Hi mrijnwal
This message means that you are using AJAX. And didn’t use the correct ID or class for the posts container in another language. It is actually instruction not some error, that explains what to do in order to remove it and make it all work correctly.
But, we recommend turning AJAX off as long as you won’t be sure everything is filtered correctly in all languages. Only then turn it on and set the container ID or class in filter set settings.
Best Regards,
- Victor
I’ve turned of ajax but can you check this: https://petsolutions.be/fr/boutique/
You have this page in different languages but its not working
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,
- Victor
Done
We have checked the site and it looks like everything is working. We just didn’t test the EN filter set as it was edited and placed on another page. If not then let us know so we can check it all together.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi, can you check? Its still not showing on ENG / DE version?
Hi mrijnwal
We have checked it and set all filter sets the same on all archive pages across all of the languages. There is an issue with the DE language switched, it is not switching the language to the DE. But the DE language is working as well – https://petsolutions.be/de/winkel/
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi, do you have any idea how we can easily fix the category selction? Now its not changing if we select a subcategoyr: https://www.loom.com/share/993d9bbc229840a7a353a13ecff09672
Hi mrijnwal
Only with “AND” logic so all posts are going to be applied to the main category then the needed ones to the sub-category and main, and another sub sub category should be applied to the main to the sub and to the sub sub categories, then you can walk like that choosing main then sub and show items from a sub one.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Is there a way to create multiple filters and show in each filter on one level of categories. That way we go true a funnel and solve the issues we have now.
You can’t create a couple of the same filters inside one filter set. But you can create multiple filter sets with that filter using include/exclude and everything that you like. And place them on the same page. Each filter set needs either a +1 fe shortcode or a filter widget depending on how you display them on your page.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi! I’ve bought a subscription but I get an “unknown error” when I paste the licence key into the space for it on the website and active it. What I can I do please?
Hi experienceperthhills
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
It seems that your server does not allow connection with our license server. We can activate it on our side, but we need the following things from you:
1. Credentials to your /wp-admin following this document
2. And your license key.
Please, send all these via PM.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Credentials sent by PM
Hi experienceperthhills
Thank you for the credentials. Please send the license key via PM as well.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi experienceperthhills
The license is activated and everything is working well now.

A really great plugin, works great in terms of filtering! I have one question, I have already checked all the settings. Under the filter settings in the frontend there is a link “Filter Set bearbeiten” (Would mean Filter Set Edit), where I am taken directly to the backend to adjust the filter settings. How can I remove this link? Even if it is only intended for an admin view, I would like to remove it.
Hi Janstarr
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Well, you can hide it via CSS. There is no option to hide the edit button from filter sets. It was made like that for better and faster configuration of filters if you have any of them on each page.
Use browser inspecting tools on that button to check what classes it is using and add it to the Advanced CSS from the Customization or in Filters->Settings->Experimental->Custom CSS
It is absolutely safe if you are worrying about the security.

- Victor
Hi. I’m using Filter Everything in conjunction with Single Variations from weLaunch. Everything worked fine until I recently added some more products to the shop. Some sizes are missing, although some products have this size available. Here’s a video to showcase the issue: https://www.loom.com/share/d75c5195fc344adc9a2bfc7d1325a498?sid=8f1fb2fc-79f8-439c-82ee-8322318c2d4f
I already contacted the developers of weLaunch, but they said I should contact you
. They said it could be an issue with the query.
I tried to re-initialize the single variations in the weLaunch Single Variations plugin.
Thank you and best regards, Stefan
Hi szahnd
We haven’t tested it with the “Single Variations from weLaunch” plugin. You can try to turn on from the filter set setting for a certain filter under more option “Use for variations”. Perhaps it will do the trick for you.
But to make it all work normally, either need to use variation by default Woo. Or create each product separately.

Hi,
is it possible to add a “search text” for a specific custom AFC field? Or is it possible to search for Title text? I want to use to search a “number” in this page: https://olon.elasticolab.com/generic-api/Thank you
Regards Alex
Hi adilorenzo
The search bar searches the post by its title and description. It is not working with custom field data and so on yet.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi,
I use the filter in this page: https://olon.elasticolab.com/generic-api/The grid has a button “more” to display more items. But when I try to filter the items with your plug in the button “more” doesn’t work. Is it possible to fix it?
Regards Alex
Hi adilorenzo
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
It is the problem in loading more pagination, which does not take into account filtered posts. When you click on more it will load the same posts that it would load without filtering. What can you do here is to use simple pagination in order to make it work.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hey there, is possible to reset my licence websites? i’m getting Unknown error. i already sent credentials via pm + licence. Thank you!
Hi deutsmarkt
The license was activated on this site and everything is working well. It seems that your server does not allow connection with our license server. If you need to activate it on another domain please send credentials and the license key to another domain.

Mu purchase code : 9c1e60b3-498a-4cc6-b95a-b8fc28e43518
I got my licence key, when I copy paste it inthe settings, an error message appears. Me license key is refused. What can I do ?
Hi kikiCON
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Please note that the License key and CodeCanyon purchase code are two different things.
If you need to set the License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin, simply head to Filters -> Settings -> License and click the “Get your License Key” button.
It will take you to a new page where you can log in with your Envato credentials (with an account where you have purchased the plugin) and obtain your License key.
If are having any issues (automatically logging in with another account) simply use incognito mode in your browser.
Best Regards, - Victor
Hello kikiCON
I’m sorry. It looks like some kind of misunderstanding each other.
Please, send us two things:
1) credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document
2) your License key
and we will check and fix the issue with the License key by ourselves.
Thank you. Regards.
I have just sent the credentials, thank you in advance for your help
