I use this in a popup on my site, it doesn’t manage to detect the normal page, when I share it on WhatsApp it gives me a 404 error, when I share the post on Twitter or copy the link it gives me only the home page url, even though I mentioned in the plugin settings to detect posts. This is not working please help me.

When you are using a shortcode the plugin will use the default WordPress function (get_permalink) to get the sharing URL. That function should return the URL of the current post unless there are modifications on the site. Is it possible to create a share button that is actually a download image button? either using a shortcode or the url of the image?

We don’t have such a button in the plugin. A download image function is not a standard option. Several online examples of JavaScript code can be used. A custom button for download can be added in the settings of the plugin. And one of those snippets can be attached (with a combination of filter call to prepare it).
Before moving on this be aware that the button may not work all the time. There is no standard command you can use to automatically start image download. That is a restrictions of the browsers for security reasons. There is a big chance that download may become blocked by the browser (due to suspisious activity). The only stable solution is server-side download which we don’t offer.
Note that if you wish to move on this you still should have some basic code knowledge in order to implement or modify snippets (if needed). Also as that is a custom coding it will take some time (timeframe can’t be defined).

Thank you for the complete reply even if it was not what i hoped for. There are a couple of plugins that do download when you implement a shortcode. It works fine on the post but as i say I was hoping some way to implement it “easily” in each post display on the front page guess I will keep looking or pay someone!

A plugin with a server-side download will solve all your needs. Once you have that it is not needed to use shortcode at all – a plain command to the server-side link will do the trick.

The button is made to be black (the new color scheme) https://take.ms/FTSeo. In case you have cache/optimization/CDN please do a full purge to load the updated stylesheets. If you are using the plugin pre-compiled mode there is a purge button in the settings or just save the plugin settings to rebuild it.

As for your question about the name – it won’t change automatically. Because the plugin allows entering custom text for the network names you need to make that adjustment manually in the Global networks list. More about this is available in the transition guide

Yes, the plugin allows sharing at the archive level. But usually, this requires embedding the display in the template files (for themes that are based on the default WordPress display it will show automatically). In this case, the custom display function is used -> https://docs.socialsharingplugin.com/knowledgebase/creating-custom-displays-positions-for-share-buttons-and-how-to-use-them/. The function is very flexible for adding share buttons outside the typical positions. The display can be shown using a shortcode, Elementor widget, or block
If you are using the Elementor Loop builder everything is quite simple. You can use the same function to create a custom share position. After that using the Elementor widget for social share display you can enable this display in the loop grid. It will show the share buttons and you can share each of the posts in the grid.

This is a false positive. The Windows “Defender” is well known to trigger false positive alarms for viruses.
The plugin package is clean and does not contain any viruses. I encourage you if it shows a button to report that alert as a false positive (Defender should provide you this option).

You just need to style your share buttons. This you can do via the Global Styles (if you are using sidebar) or using the position styles (for the Sidebar) if more then one. The button style you need is called “Icon only”. thanks, it is working now , but when i use mobile to view my website post , the share buttons showing up on the same position same as on Desktop not at the bottom, i already select “Share buttons bar (Mobile Only Display Method)” it is weird
