Hi there, I am currently working on a website build with Elementor which is an affiliate site with tips for birthday presents and all kinds of present ideas. I have made a lot of product categories and landing pages for each category for instance presents for women -> womens clothing -> shirts. On the shirts page. I have a filter (Product Filter by WBW) where I have a price filter and that works fine if I put it on a product category page, but it does not work if I place it on a landing page where the product category has been added with the woo product gallery. I am placing product with woo product gallery on landing pages as I want to be able to write SEO text for each product category on each page. The filter (Product Filter by WBW) which I am currently using is implemented as a short code. So, my question is, with the PRO version of Filtereverything can I filter what I want on a landing page which is not a product-category page? Hope it makes sense.
Hi jobme
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
We are not exactly sure what is “woo product gallery” are you using some other type of plugin for it, or it is some default one? In any case, it should use the WP_Query to be filterable. You can place from Elementor “Products” element and set it up to show items from the needed category, or loop grid.
The Free version cannot work on the singular page, only the PRO version can be placed on the singular pages.

- Victor
Hi Victor, Woo product gallery is a part of the Essential Addons plugin. When you say the free version cannot work on a singular page, do you mean the free version of Elementor or filtereverything? Thanks
Hi jobme
The Free version of Filter Everything.

Hello, I am trying to re-create the filter I used to have (which is shown under the new Filter Everything filter). I’ve added the “Search Bar, Apparel, Brand” filters but why aren’t the products populating on the page?
This is the page with the re-create filter: https://mydressedit.com/sale/
Also, how do I add a “Price Range” feature and a “Sort By” feature?
Hi dresseditfb
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
It looks like you have plased couple of filter sets on the page, one with “apply button” mode second one without it. So a bit confusing what exactly and how you want to recreate?

It looks like you have plased couple of filter sets on the page, one with “apply button” mode second one without it.
“So a bit confusing what exactly and how you want to recreate?”
I’ll explain:
Ok, so this page ( https://mydressedit.com/sale/ ) has the Filter Everything Pro filter at the top of the page on the left side, and a blank white screen on the right side.
Now, underneath the Filter Everything Pro filter and it’s blank white screen, there is an old filter (not the Filter Everything Pro filter, it is a completely different plugin) on the left side with a populated clothing list on the right side.
I am trying to get the new Filter Everything Pro filter to be the same as the old filter underneath it (same features) and also, why isn’t a clothing list populating next to the new Filter Everything Pro filter? – what part do you not understand?
Why isn’t your filter populating my product options?
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?

Hello,
Why aren’t the Filter Tote Bag Brands populating the correct corresponding tote bags? What would be the HTML ID in this case? on this shop page: https://mydressedit.com/tote-bags/
Hi dresseditfb
As you see the filtering is not working on this page. Got to the filter set settings that is placed on this page, and in the “And what to filter” change the query to another one and hit update. Go back to the filtering page refresh it and see if it will filter the products.

Hi – I bought your Filter Plugin – installed it on Tiinas.com – and then uninstalled it – because I needed it on Pulsteknik.com instead. Now I am not able to Activate my PRO licence. I get Unknown error.
And – more importantly – I can not get the Filter to work. It showed on Tiinas.com when I tried it there. And I saw somewhere that I could PM you if I wanted more then one licence.
I just to be sure – this isn´t a yearly subscription… is it!?
Hi idespiran
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Also please send the license key via PM
The one license can be activated on two sites, it was made like that to use one for prod and the second one for staging.
This is a lifetime license.

The mobile shortcode is functional, but when attempting to display it on the desktop, the output is not satisfactory. It is unclear why the desktop shortcode stopped working. We also attempted to use the desktop shortcode on the shopping page, but it failed to display the desired result. Please investigate this matter to resolve the display issue. Thank you.

The issue is that the custom filter sidebar area on the right side of the page. What we did, is we added two filter sets on the page. One is in the title container but we hide it, and it is showing correctly on mobile, the second is the one that is working in that buggy desktop pop-up sidebar.
Everything is showing up on both desktop and mobile modes now.

Hi codehouse_no
Here is the issues – https://prnt.sc/J5Mnws6wYvfG it translates the link but not the “input” link.
It looks that the gTranslate is working similart as the Weglot plugin, which generates translation links in a rather non-standard way.
It doesn’t do it classically by hooks of some functions related to links. Before displaying the page in the browser, it catches it into the buffer, finds all occurrences of <a></a> tags in the content and replaces all links there with translation links. And so it “translates” <a></a> tags, but not <input> tags (it catches the content in the buffer, replaces the links and returns the page to the browser).
We cannot influence this, and the only correct way is to contact gTranslate support and ask them how to fix this situation. Maybe they have an alternative way to translate those links, or some way to add other tags to that translation. Plugin support should tell you how to add custom elements to the translation of links in them.
https://prnt.sc/J5Mnws6wYvfG it is changing the<a></a> link but not the <input> link.

Hello, I tried to make some changes to the filters but I got this message “License key for the Discount Rules Pro for WooCommerce is not entered. Please enter a valid license key, you can get it from our website”. In the settings the key was missing, when I entered it again I got this error “This license key has already been used for two sites.” I am pretty sure that the license was enabled on this site(Live site). The key may be used in the dev site that we have or my local environment.
Is there anything I can do to make it work? To revoke access from my dev site or something? Thanks in advance
Hi kvavliak24lc
Please send the license key via PM so we can deactivate it on all of the sites.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Done it. Thanks for the quick response.
The license was deactivated on all of the sites, now you can activate it on the needed ones.

Hi. Do you have a recommendation for multi currency plugin that is compatible with filter everything? I’m currently using Tyche’s Currency Per Product Pro and creating products in different currency but the price filter doesn’t work with the converted prices (only the original).
Hi schramel
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
CURCY, working with the Free version and the PRO version.
Best Regards,
- Victor
CURCY doesn’t allow us to save a product price in different currency. We only use the base currency on the front-end. No currency switcher. So every price is converted to base currency and I need to filter with them. Currently, the price filter is not working with the converted prices.
This is a very interesting case, can you please provide more information on it?
Yes, CURCY converts the price dynamically. If you only use “base” currency on the front end, what do you convert? Because it is a bit confusing, are your products products with different currencies? and you convert them into one? Or what is your case?
Best Regards,
- Victor
Yes, the Currency Per Product plugin allows me to set product prices in different currencies by using a switcher on the admin product page.
One product has a price in EUR, the other one is in USD (depending on the source of supply).
The base currency is HUF, so I convert every price to HUF on the front-end. Customers are not dealing with currencies at all in the webshop.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,
- Victor
I sent the credentials.
We have checked the site and set the simple price filter, can you please link the exact page and turn on everything to show how it is not working with those currencies?
Best Regards,
- Victor
Can you give me an email where I can send stuff properly?
Hi Victor & Team: how can I list each radio button selections horizontally (instead of vertically)? I’d like to edit them one by one, but don’t know how. Do you have a tutorial/resources or any guidance to accomplish this. Thank you so much!
Hi norainu87
It depends on what styles you already applied to the filters, you can send the link here or via PM if you don’t want to share it with others, and we can check it and provide information on it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor: I’ve just sent a PM. (Horizontal buttons + adding image/icon for radio buttons if possible). Thank you for your cautious support. Brian
Hi norainu87
So to display images, you need to add taxonomy, not custom fields. For a showcase we have added the “Themes” taxonomy to the “Stocks”, with the same options as you had in a custom field, but just a couple of them.
Turned on color swatches and applied images on those taxonomies, you can change them from the taxonomy editing.
Also, we have added the short styles for a specific field, to make it display-direction row, of course, you can hide the names, the radiobutton checker, since you will use images and so on. And add additional styling on the top.

Hello, I display sorting widget with shortcode. It works well with its sort function. But it doesn’t sort the products in a live website. I have tried it with another wordpress setup, another domain but it doesn’t just work. It just blink (ajax) after I choose a sorting.
Hi phamha
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please send the link to the page with the issue so we can check it?
Best Regards,
- Victor
I have just add user and send you password via PM. Thank you, Victor
Hi phamha
We have checked the site and everything is working correctly, please note that you are using this plugin – https://prnt.sc/ehf2tbbV5cGx which shows some products as “hot” and it is not sorting them as they are made to show on the top with that plugin, but right after the “hot” products are over everything is sorted correctly.
Best Regards,
- Victor
I know about hot products are persistent, actually I tried with category with no hot product but it didn’t sort. However, it’s working perfectly now. I’m not sure what you’ve have done but your support is great and deserve 5 star. Thank you!
Hi phamha
We are glad to hear that everything is working properly.
Thank you very much for your review, your feedback means a lot to us.

Hello
I activated ajax search but the page still reloads when I choose a filter, is there a way to make it work ? Thanks
Hi husseinhachem1
Please send the link with the issue so we can check it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi husseinhachem1
In the filter set settings, there is an input field with “HTML id or class container…” you need to place there .elementor-element-17709cd or .elementor-element-49ed2f3 and hit update then check if it will work correctly.
Best Regards,
- Victor
It worked with the ajax also, Thanks
We are glad to hear that everything is working.

In the Shop Page (https://pmediaweb.com/dev/meatholic/shop/)
“Australian Wagyu” is the sub-category of “Meats” but why it’s showing at the end of the filter. It should be under it’s Parent Category, which is Meats.
Hi ahmedtaha510
Did you turn on this option – https://prnt.sc/jL5cViX8xW3e to show it as a hierarchy?
Best Regards,
- Victor
Yes, I have turned on this option. The problem is it shows the hierarchy to just one level.
https://pmediaweb.com/dev/meatholic/shop/There’s a Category “Meats”, under Meats there’s “Australian Wagyu” and “Japanese Wagyu”.
then under “Australian Wagyu” there is “Chuck”, “Brisket”, “Flank” & so.
Also under “Japanese Wagyu” there is “Chuck”, “Brisket”, “Flank” & so.
It doesn’t show the sub-categories of “Australian Wagyu” & “Japanese Wagyu”
How to show those items as well?
Thank you.
Thank you
Hi ahmedtaha510
Seems like the issue was resolved as it is all showing now on your page.

Hello, I choose a sorting by name “a,b,c” for a filter that contains only numbers. It works correctly by 1, 2, 3, etc but the sorting is not correct when figure have several numbers. Examples : 110, 115, 11, 123, 129, 12… (11 and 12 must be at the beginning) 300, 30, 350, 35 (same problem) 12, 28, 46, 85, 9, (9 must be at the beginning) Can you help me to fix that please ? Thanks, Claire
Hi Claire
We need some time to check if there is the possibility of sorting it correctly like you need, and you forgot to mention that those numbers have a letter at the end, which is crucial in your case. And that’s why you get such unpredictable sorting, because with pure numbers everything is working correctly.
Best Regards,
- Victor
hello, yes you’re right ! but it’s pretty annoying… Let me know if you can fix it. Thanks a lot
Hi Claire
We created one testing custom field Field and tested on the Tonnage custom field as well, we added the code to your functions.php file where you can manually add custom fields meta keys and sorting order how you would like to see it, please note it is case sensitive so every term should be the same as it is in the custom field options:
// FE SORT FILTER TERMS MANUALLY
add_filter('wpc_terms_before_display', 'wpc_sort_terms_as_needed', 10, 2);
function wpc_sort_terms_as_needed($terms, $filter) {
// Define custom sorting orders for different meta keys
$sortingOrders = array(
'test_for_manual_sorting_fe' => array(
'Text1',
'Text2',
'1',
'10'
),
'filtre_tonnage' => array(
'8',
'12',
'90',
'8T',
'8 T',
'18T',
'40T'
),
// Add more meta keys and their sorting orders as needed
// 'another_key' => array('term1', 'term2', 'term3'),
);
// Check if the current meta key has a custom sorting order
if (isset($sortingOrders[$filter['e_name']])) {
$customOrder = $sortingOrders[$filter['e_name']];
// Create an associative array to store term objects
$termMap = array();
// Populate the term map
foreach ($terms as $term) {
$termMap[$term->name] = $term;
}
// Sort the terms based on the custom order
$sortedTerms = array();
foreach ($customOrder as $name) {
if (isset($termMap[$name])) {
$sortedTerms[] = $termMap[$name];
unset($termMap[$name]);
}
}
// Add any remaining terms to the sorted array
foreach ($termMap as $term) {
$sortedTerms[] = $term;
}
return $sortedTerms;
}
return $terms;
}

Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
The license was activated and everything is working well.

Hi.
I1ve just bought your plugin, and it seems to work perfect. But I would like to change a little bit the way the Custom Field Numeric is displayed. Please look at the page: https://www.spatec.no/massasjebad-ny/. You’ll see the price slider on top (I haven’t styled the rest yet).
Is there a way to diable the the small keys up and down to change the price? And I’m having trouble to find the right targets (css) to style the size of the numbers, and the field where the minimum and maximum price is displayed. I would like it to be as simple as the checkboxes.
Could you please help me with this?
Hope to hear from you soon
Regards Christian Albretsen
Hi Christian
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
This code should remove arrows up and down:
.wpc-filters-range-wrapper input[type="number"]::-webkit-inner-spin-button,
.wpc-filters-range-wrapper input[type="number"]::-webkit-outer-spin-button {
-webkit-appearance: none;
appearance: none;
margin: 0;
}
And this to make it somehow similar to the checkboxes:
.wpc-filters-range-wrapper input[type=number] {
border: 2px solid #ccd0dc;
border-radius: 6px;
}
You need to place it in the Filters->Settings->Experimental->Custom CSS
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi.
And thanks for your answer – it’s much appreciated. But the code regarding the arrows doesn’t seem to do the trick when using Firefox. They are still visible. Do you have a solution to this?
And another thing when viewing the page in Safari. The numbers in the price slider is smaller than the rest of the text in the filter. it would be nice if they where the same.
Hope to hear from you soon
By the way – I hoped I would get your answer to my mailadress. I checked the box for that when I contacted you. But it doesn’t seem to work.
Best regards, Christian
Hi Christian
The plugin inherits the theme styles, so if you want to make it look the same on all browsers you need to add specific styling, counting the Firefox and Safari nuances. Crossbrowser styling can be a bit challenging if you want to make pixel-perfect pictures across all of the sites.
You should check browser specifications, and how to get it all to work across all of the browsers the same.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Pagination is not working on my filtering: check example:https://santasementebr.com/loja/catprod-fast-buds/
ALSO why is not listing other categories on this cat page? https://santasementebr.com/categoria-produto/barneys-farm/Hi hdeveza
Not all of the paginations are compatible especially when using load more or infinite scroll ones, but there is this plugin for Woo which is compatible with our plugin and applies load more and infinite scroll pagination – https://wordpress.org/plugins/load-more-products-for-woocommerce/
The filter just shows categories that apply to those products, so they simply do not have another category, that’s why you see only one category.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Good afternoon, I can’t configure the plugin on my website… it’s not filtering, look at the example: https://santasementebr.com/categoria-produto/barneys-farm
Hi hdeveza
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
It looks like you already set up everything, because it is filtering the products now.
