can I use this plugin to set up an annual payment membership? the users that join the membership will have a fixed discount for all the products in the shop(on woocommerce), every time they pay a product. thanks

Yes, you can easily charge for annual payment if you wish and also provide discounted prices for Woo products only for members with active membership.

Hi, I bought this plugin a while back but am only just getting around to considering to use it now. I have a few questions about functionality… I’m wondering if on subscription membership sites, credits/discounts can be applied to payments each month. I am wondering if this can be done with mycred – I want to use points for payment, if possible, which would reduce the amount that they actually pay that month. Also, I am wondering about using woocommerce for the subscription payments. If I use woocommerce instead of using gateways directly through UMP, will UMP still function the same way in terms of organising the membership levels and any other UMP functionality? I have been looking at PMPro and finding that going through Woocommerce restricts a lot of what PMPro can do, and also they are not able to apply monthly credits from MyCred, but they can do it from AffiliateWP, based only on commissions. So I thought I might ask you guys about any possibilities of setting these things up in UMP, connected with affilitateWP or Ultimate Affiliate Pro. Thanks!

MyCred Points cannot be used to pay for single or recurring memberships, unfortunately. If you choose to sell Memberships through Woo keep in mind that Woo is able to handle only simple payments and not recurring charges like Ultimate Membership Pro. So, you will not find a such functionality inside Woo just because that ecommerce script is limited in terms of payments and not only.

I wonder, if it is possible, to change the data picked in the csv-file – I would like to see the name of the membership, the price the customer paid and I would like to delete the unneccesary data. Is that possible? And if, what file would that be?

Potential bug. I activated PayPal Express Checkout alongside PayPal.

My membership is set as £10 every 3 years.

When selecting PayPal, £10 every 3 years is displayed. Selecting PayPal express, it changes to £10 every year.

The membership subscription periods should surely be independent to the payment gateway?

I have bank transfer enabled and it correctly shows £10 every years.

No, this is not a bug but a proper workflow that takes into consideration the limitations of each payment service as well.

Subscription periods need to take into consideration what each payment service is able to handle and its limits; for example, just a few allow recurring subscriptions for more than 1 year/12 months.

This is the way any membership system should work if is properly built, but you will not see that in so many, instead you will end up with an error or no recurring charges at all.

1. Yes, you can easily set various restrictions in order to have different content for different type of users or their status (registered or just visitors).

2. You may have restrictions even based on no of Views and free or visitors may have a different no of views than a paid member, for example.

3. How a content or partial content is restricted is established by Admin, not automatically restricted after n paragraphs.

4. You ma restrict posts based on their types, of based on some URL keywords for example, if that helps.

It’s better to refresh the license also on the new domain, by revoking before the website is migrate it and activate again once the website is set on the new domain.

Hi! Have a question related to member approval. We have configured the settings so user need manual approval to become a member. But in the meantime, the new user profile is automatically published. Is there some way to hide the new profile until admin approval? Thanks

Hi Azzaroco, Afraid to say still more issues since the update. New members still can’t sign up. The page now works with the link but when they click register the button doesn’t do anything at all? Hi, I have added user registration with signup fees (Paypal/stripe). When user fills the form and reaches to payment form and closes their browser tab, Plugin still creates users in Wordpress system even without payment. Is there anyway I can restrict this? User should only be created in Wordpress is the payment is successful. TIA.
