1. How to show filter options in two columns please? For example we have large list for sizes. And now i wanna split the filter list into two colums. Its not possible with your plugin? Here you see two column layout by using another filter plugin: https://i.ibb.co/L8McfDV/Bildschirmfoto-2023-09-28-um-16-49-45.png
2. And how to limit the height of the filter box for sizes please? I can see we can setup “show more/less” to expand the list or make it smaler, but your plugin also does not have option to setup the height of the box?
3. And what about the scroll bar on right side for large filter lists? We need custom css and there are no premade styles for scrollbar?
4. Same for checkboxes: The checkbox is very small and if yo checking other filter plugins you will see they have so many checkbox layouts out of the box. Your plugin only have one design for checkboxes and we also need custom css to play with design? This is your design: https://i.ibb.co/7pms7C4/Bildschirmfoto-2023-09-28-um-16-50-30.png and this is for example one of many premade designs for checkbox by using another search plugin that cost same price like yours: https://i.ibb.co/L8McfDV/Bildschirmfoto-2023-09-28-um-16-49-45.png
5. Range filter element have also no styling options and for this we also need custom css? By using another filter plugin we have 15 fancy design options out of the box. Look at this premade designs for example: https://i.ibb.co/S0btrk4/Bildschirmfoto-2023-09-28-um-16-55-38.png
6. We can have filter by review with stars like this? https://i.ibb.co/KKmJ4Mr/Bildschirmfoto-2023-09-28-um-16-56-33.png
7. In general: Your plugin can handle the same like most of all other filter plugins. But its not possible to controle design details without any custom css. Do you plan to improve this?
BR Tommy
Hi Tommy,
1) It is possible to achieve the desired outcome by utilizing custom CSS with display flex, direction column flex-wrap, and setting the maximum width to the li elements. However, such styling can be not flexible, particularly when the length of all the terms in a filter is unknown, resulting in a chaotic appearance in two columns. Although word-breaking may be applied, it is still not an optimal solution.
2) Filters -> Settings -> General “Filter container max height” input – https://prnt.sc/aqlKJIAwqndr with CSS you can make it unique for each container.
3) When we set the container max height this is how you will see it – https://prnt.sc/-XsrehS1Af0G
4) If you go to the Filters -> Settings -> Experimental you can turn on “Styled checkboxes and radio buttons” If this option is turned off it will use inherit styles, basically the ones that your theme is using.
5) With template overriding you can make unique styles, the ones that you need, and of course apply a bit of custom CSS.
6) Yes you can make it – https://prnt.sc/h1KsTPC9sYRK and this is in the filter set setting filter settings – https://prnt.sc/y69yCqu5Ps_i the more demo pages you can find here – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/clothing/women/ at the top “Try Demos”
7) At the time we are fully focused on filtering abilities, to expand them even further. We are planning to add some pre-made styles later in the plugin development road, but custom CSS with template overriding is the best solution so far.
Also, the plugin allows you:
Filters any Post Type (posts, products etc), Filtering by Taxonomies, Custom Fields, Post Author, Sorting widget, Color swatches and Brand logos, Vertical and Horizontal layouts, «Auto-submission» and «Apply button» modes, Step-by-Step filtering from parent to child filters, Filtering Custom WP Queries, Clean URLs and Permalinks, Smart filtering by Woo product variations, SEO Rules, indexing filtering result pages by Search Engines, Individual Filter Sets for any pages and archives, Hide filter if all terms are empty, Hide empty terms, and many more is coming up with future updates.

Hello,
We require a specific use case to be implemented on our website:
In a custom field named “Branche” (English: Industry), we have various inputs such as Medical, Biotech, Freelance Medical, Freelance Biotech, etc.
We aim to construct a filter that consolidates multiple related values (e.g., Medical and Freelance Medical) under a single term, like “Medtech”, for frontend display purposes.
Is this possible?
Thank you!
Hi Potential2,
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
Well, everything is possible depending on the realization of this functionality. You want to make a group of terms under one term. There is no such possibility to create such groups under one term out of the box.
What you can do, is manually create a couple of more custom fields and simply apply values like “Medtech” (for Medical and Freelance Medical) in that case you can create a filter set by this custom field with the needed filter terms.

- Victor
Hello, I just bought the pro version for the sake of 1 feature, hide the filter when all attributes are empty. and I dont know if its auto activated or no. but i checked and its not working. can you help me to set it up
Hi husseinhachem1,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
There are two options in the filter set – https://prnt.sc/TPNsTwd9APep
One hides empty terms, and the second one hides empty filters, you need to turn them on and it will hide all of the empty filters.

Hello, we have posts on the site. We have added an extra field to the posts via ACF. We are unable to start filtering on this page https://test2.nolimittour.cz/testovaci-stranka/
I’ve had a bad experience with support via envato and we would need someone to log in and set up filtering there, as we can’t do it ourselves. If the support doesn’t work this way, we’ll probably want a refund right away so we don’t get bogged down in this for too long and find another solution.
Hi kuczys,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
You can send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can help set it up for you. But, we need full instructions on which pages it should be shown.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi kuczys,
We have checked the site and applied everything as it should be and everything is working. One filter set is placed on the singular page that you send to us with posts. And second filter set, with product categories, we set on the shop page.
Both are working correctly, please check them and look at how they were set to understand the pattern. If you have any additional questions feel free to ask.

It’s great that it’s starting to show something. Now it’s just the final step. It’s displaying YES/NO and we’d like it to display a selection of options. We have, so far, 6 extra fields (aktivita, období, měsíc, rok, počet dní, destinace) and we would need to display their correct values. For the most recent 4 posts, I have set random values in the extra fields so that this can change when filtering.
Would it still be possible to do some customization to display a selection of values for each field?
Hi kuczys,
We created a test ACF custom field group with checkboxes and applied it on one post and created a filter by that custom field, and as you see everything is showing correctly. So you either renamed those custom field or any other manipulations but ACF do not change anything in the database. So are facing some issues. Create new custom fields grouped with the needed fields and never rename them in order to make them work correctly.
As we mentioned previously, Deleting or Renaming them does not change anything in the Database.
Best Regards,
- Victor
This has helped me, I feel like by this point we could hopefully make it. Thank you
Hi kuczys,
We’re really happy to hear that it was helpful. And of course, you’ve got this – you can definitely make it.

Hello. I have two questions. I want to set filter on front page but i do not know where to get id for the filter to use in the shortcode [fe_widget]. Also how to set “Where to filter” option in the settings “General pages” -> “Shop page” ? Second question: I already have one filter on the every category page (one filter for each category) and i want to put second filter on the every category page that is mutual for all categories. What setting should i choose in “Where to filter” “Category pages” -> “Every category” ? When i choose this option this filter displays only on the category page where no other filters. It category page already has filters, the second (mutual filter) wont appear.
Hi tparashchuk,
You don’t need to write any ID, it will be removed in future updates from shortcode. Just place the shortcode on the needed page [fe_widget]. If you mean how to set it on the homepage then “Common WordPress pages” + “shop/homepage” or if it is a singular page choose “pages” + “my page name”.
Well, you can place one filter set for “Any Category” and on certain categories, you can place a filter set that will include the same filter as for “Any Category” and the other filters that you want to add. You can create as many filter sets as you need.

Hello ,
I’ve installed FilterEverything Pro on my Woocommerce site. The filters are displaying successfully, and I can select filter terms, but the products displayed are not being filtered - it just continues to displays all the products no matter what I do.
Here’s some additional information:
- I tried all the WP_queries in the “And What To Filter” field – none of them worked - I don’t have Ajax enabled - I don’t have caching enabled. - I’m not using Elementor, or any other site builder plug-in - I have counters shown. When I select filters, the counters are updating correctly. This makes me think that the filters are querying the products correctly – it’s just not being reflected in the grid of products displayed.
Do you have any ideas what I’ve neglected to do?
(And sorry if I’ve missed a previous answer to this problem in the forum…!)
Hi bauholz,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it? Also, send the link to the page with the issue.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor – that’s been sent now, along with some notes. Let me know if I can give any more details. Thanks!
We have checked the site, and the issue is that each product category page has a unique query. That’s why you cannot use the “Product Categories” + “Any Categorie”. We have set the “filter set” on the specific category “Whiskey” and everything is working correctly with the 3rd query. It is a simple issue of custom themes and how it was created.
So you can create a filter set for each category or change the realization of the theme so each page will have the same query instead of behaving like a unique one.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Ah! Thanks Victor!
I was using the default Woocommerce template for the category page – good to know that this might need some editing! Thanks for your help.
Filter Everything’s sorting widget does not work with the plugin “Post Types Order”.
I’m using “Post Types Order” to define the initial custom sort of posts. Then I’m trying to use Filter Everything to sort the posts on the post archive page. When I select a new sort, nothing happens. When I deactivate “Post Types Order”, FE sorting works as expected.
Is there a way to use both plugins? Is this a known conflict? Any recommendations for a different way to handle this?
ps: I’m developing locally and don’t have a link to share at this time.
Hi psstudiosinc,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
We will include this plugin in our list and carefully assess its compatibility with our sorting system. As this process requires significant attention to detail, it may take longer than a month to complete. Please note that the results of compatibility might be negative. However, once we have gathered the necessary information, we will provide an update within this comment thread.
“Is there a way to use both plugins? Is this a known conflict? Any recommendations for a different way to handle this?”
Based on our records, we have not encountered a similar issue before, indicating that your situation is an uncommon one. So there is no information on it at all.

Good afternoon, I bought the Filter Everything Pro plugin and I am trying to activate it but I have not been able to. I have done the steps that it says in the tutorial but nothing.
Hi ads150,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Can you please add a bit more information on what you mean by “nothing”? You didn’t get the license key? Or do you have some type of error when you enter it and hit activate?
Best Regards,
- Victor
Good day. I try to obtain the license key but when I get the option: Authorize Filter Everything to connect with your account and when I click the Approve button, it takes me to a blank page.
Hi ads150,
Try to do it in incognito mode, and log in with the account where you have bought the Filter Everything PRO.
Go to Filters -> Settings -> License click the “Get your License Key” button, which will take you to a new page where you can log in with your Envato credentials (with an account where you have purchased the plugin) and obtain your License key.
If it won’t work, please send us the screenshots of what you get at as the result via PM.

Hello, I’m using Elementor Pro and I’ve made this catalogue page for various pages in the website: https://paste.pics/903339f08cf4d98f3cb3f05f41312196
I need to filter “Payload” and “Reach”. How can I do this? The fields are added in each section with Elementor as “Icon List”.
I’ve tried various methods but nothing works. I hope you can help me, thank you!
Hi andreeaszabo,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
We have a couple of questions, are those posts or any other post type? Did you make it with the post grid in Elementro?
The second one is that the filter is filtering by categories, attributes, custom fields, etc. But, it does not filter by the icon lists.
You can apply a custom field on those posts choose the correct values and then create filters by those custom fields’ meta keys. You can live that list for visuals.

When removing ‘chips’, it does not update the filter and keeps the url with the selected filter in
for example if I click on Fridge it will put fridge in the url and when I remove it from the chips section, it flashes the product area, removes the chip section but does not update the product list/keeps the fridge in the url.
Selecting the filter works just fine but basically deselecting by the chips does not work.
Using the actual filter (selecting and deselecting) works fine)
Hi centrable,
Can you send the link to the page with the issue so we can check it? The link that you sent previously filter widget working fine as well as the chips.

Hi
I have just messaged you a link

Hi
I have just updated this and it still isn’t working
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it? It is very weird that it is working on one category but not working on another category.

Hi, I am interested in buying this product / code.
Can you explain how the source code agreement works:
01 – do I own the code? 02 – who owns the copyright? 03 – can I resell the code after I make changes to it?
Any further details to this would be appreciated, thank you.
Hi oo7ml,
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
In summary, to be succinct:
- Upon purchasing the plugin, the user is not granted ownership of the code. Rather, the user is granted a license to use the plugin on two sites, as well as access to updates and support for a period of six months.
- The individual who possesses the legal ownership of the intellectual property rights in question is the author, Andrii Stepasiuk.
- It is possible to acquire an extended license for the purpose of embedding the plugin in your products and subsequently selling them as a package. However, it is important to note that you, as the purchaser of said license, do not possess the right to sell any modified versions of the plugin under any circumstances.

Hello victor, Andrii
I would like to know if it is possible to manage multi-currency with a filter based on the ACF numeric field (price)?
Thank you for your reply.
Hi GueloSuperStar,
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
Yes, it is possible but would require custom coding from you. In the plugin folder src, there is a file wpc-third-party.php inside on line 468 you can find the code to support such plugins like WOOCS and CURCY, and using those examples you can write your custom code to support it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hello Victor,
Okay, I’ll give it a try and let you know the result.
Hi Victor,
I tried with WOOCS and CURCY plugins, but I need WooCommerce, and I don’t have this plugin :/.
Do you have other plugins to do this without WooCommerce?
Thank you very much.
Hi GueloSuperStar,
Unfortunately, at the time no, as usually 99% of the users create a shop with Woo. That’s why we haven’t made any solutions yet for other cases.
In general, we would recommend using Woo for any online shopping sites.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hello,
Yes I understand ^, in my case I don’t need Woo ^, that’s why I have to make a specific code
I’ll share my code when I’ve finished testing it, if it helps anyone ^^
Thank you for your reply.
I just purchased the Filter Everything — WordPress/WooCommerce Product Filter – Regular License plugin this morning and have uploaded it to my site and when I go to enter the License Key I get the alert that it is an Invalid license key. Please enter correct license key.
I have downloaded both the text file and pdf provided by envato/codecanyon to copy and paste the license from there as well as entering it manually but all the results are the same.
I did have the free/demo version of the plugin installed but deactivated and deleted it before attempting to activate the plugin.
Please advise as to what I need to do to resolve this issue.
Thanks
Ed
I resolved it, didn’t realize the get code button was how you got the code and not the link to buy the pro version. Long nights trying to get this site going I guess
Hi edhallphotoleecomposites,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
We are glad to hear the issue was resolved, you did a great job!
Best Regards,

We are having issues placing this plugin on the selected page through elementor pro by shortcode and widgets. We keep getting error messages.
The Filter Everything Sorting widget only works on pages with filtering posts.
No one Filter Set is related to this page. You can configure it in the Filter Set -> “Where to filter?” field.
Hi jpgthemes,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
If we understand correctly, you already placed the shortcode on the page with Elementor. Now all you need to do is in the filter set settings in the “Where to filer” and choose this page to display the filter widget on it. If this is a singular page, you can go to the “Pages” + “Name of your page” If this is a home or shop page, you can choose “Common WordPress pages” + “Home/Shop”
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi ruslanyh,
We tried to use old access but it is closed already. So you can send the filter set setting for the English language filters and what you specified in the “Where to filter”.
Best Regards,
- Victor
We have renewed your access, a new password have to be sent to your email
Alright, we have checked the site and simply nothing is displaying the filter widget in the EN version. We placed a filter set on this page https://lapa.shop/en/city/vinnytsia/ and there is nothing that would show that widget, we go to the customize and choose the filter widget in the available widget areas to test it, and as you see here everything is displaying – https://prnt.sc/Gt95mmyZNfLI you need to use any shortcode or widget area on EN version to display it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
You looked in the wrong place. The Vinnitsa attribute you are referring to does not have a shortcode. The shortcode is in the Dnipro attribute, to which I provided a link: https://lapa.shop/en/city/dnipro/ The shortcode is installed here. But the filter still does not appear.
Here is the pattern of how you should do it correctly:
1) Create a filter set for the UA version and place it on the needed page.
2) Change to the WordPress editor here – https://prnt.sc/E4mbo_c3raiy and do not click on any “duplicate” checkboxes just click the + to the needed language.
3) Name the filter set of the new language place it where you need it and hit create.
Everything is working correctly, please check the Dnipro category we did it as a test.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hello friend, one from my team purchased the wrong plugin. Today i see its not the correct plugn we talked about. How we can have a refund please?
BR Tommy
Hi Tommy,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Are you sure that you are not looking for a first-class filtering plugin with a lifetime license? If you have any questions on how to configure it, we can help you out.
In general, you can send a refund request through the appropriate form in your account.

I’ve created multiple filter sets. The first set is brand & type. I want this set to show on every category page, so I choose “Product categories—> Any category” The second set is only for the products in a specific category, so i set the value to “product categories—> [this specific category’]. What happens is that the brand filters stays empty (no values shown) and the specific filter works well. When I go to another page where only the brand filter applies to (so outside this specific category), the brand filter works perfect. What am I missing here?
Hi consiglio,
Since the wp-admin access is still working, you can provide more detailed information or create a filter set and place it on the needed categories so we can check it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
So, I made 3 filters: 1. Merk (=brand, has to show on every category page 2. Scheppen (must be shown on cat “Pizzascheppen en borstels” 3. Ovenborstels (must be shown on cat “Ovenborstels”
I repeated the [fe_widget] in a code element 3 times, using Bricks Templates. I made a specific template “Shop template met filter” and added the categories above to the conditions of that template, because I don’t want the whole shop to have a filter.
The reality is that is only shows 1 filter at a time.
Alright, in general, you have two ways to make it work.
1) The most correct and the easiest one. Create a filter set for a certain category, as you did, and just add filters that are placed for “Any Category” and you will have one filter set with all of the filters.
2) The hard one. Create two filter sets for each category, one to display filters that are in the “Any Category” set and second the one that you need.
In general, it is simply changing the filter set when you have one as “Any Categories”. We would recommend choosing the first one.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Thank you Victor, I was thinking too difficult. 1 filterset will do for the whole site.
Hi consiglio,
Yes, after all, there are options to hide the empty filter terms and hide empty filters, so on other pages where you have products without those attributes and so on the filters will be hidden.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi There!
I prepared some filters at my page and put in them using a text field by a shortcode as horizontal filter.
I use the following short code e.g: [fe_widget id=”3970” show_selected=”yes” show_count=”yes” horizontal=”yes”] id = the actual filter post code
What can be the manner? Thanks in advance
Hi turig,
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
You don’t need to specify the filter ID, you can remove it. In the filter set setting in the “Where to filter” choose the needed page and in the “And what to filter” choose the correct query to filter your posts.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Many thanks for your fast reply. I removed the filter id, but it doesn’t work .
I see only the failure message: No one Filter Set is related to this page. You can configure it in the Filter Set -> “Where to filter?” field.
I choosed: Product query. Main quirey to “And what to filter” ,but choosing neither Product query#’ or Product query#2 does not display the filter.
What can be other critical settings causing this failure? I use Divi buid my site. Or this filter could implement only as sidebar widget filter?
Best regards, Gábor
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it? Also, please send the link to the page where exactly you want to display the filter widget.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor I finished
Best regards, Gábor
Well, everything is working, the issue here is that on category pages you have only “Footer Widgets” areas avaible – https://prnt.sc/1YIuXWhE1kH3 as you see if you place a filter widget in that area it is appearing. You need to either create a normal widget area for category pages or you can use any hook of the current page template to place a shortcode [fe_widget] on that hook.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
First of all many thanks for your support&feedback.
I tried to place the [fe_widget] shortcode into the widget “Footer area#1”, but nothing was displayed at any category pages.
I created a new widget “Filter everything – Filter” using the [fe_widget] or [fe_widget show_selected=”yes” show_count=”yes” horizontal=”yes”] shortcode and placed on “Alkoholos italok” category page into a Divi sidebar (widget area) field at the top of the page, but nothing was displayed..
I think there is any Filter sets configuration manner. Could you send me or restore your working configuration or configure the filter & widget above?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards, Gábor
Hi Gábor,
We had a misunderstanding since you set all of the filters on product categories. And as we understand you want to display it on your pages. We set one filter on the page “tejtermekek” You can check it and following that example place all of the other filters on the needed pages.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Many thanks for your support. I copied the given configuration and filter works properly on all pages.
I had a last question to you. Is it possible to avoid refreshing the page after selection in the filter?
Thx in advance.
Best regards, Gábor
Hi Gábor,
Yes, you can turn on AJAX from Filters -> Settings -> General.
Then place the ID or class of the product container in each filter set settings if they are different on each page. You can find it with the browser inspect tool, if you will have any struggles with it let us know.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Dear Victor,
Many thanks for the Ajax description. I upgraded the settings and it works.
Many thanks for your kind support.
Best regards, Gábor
Hi Gábor,
I’m glad that your problem was solved
If it is possible I would be thankful for a positive review about the plugin here on CodeCanyon – https://codecanyon.net/item/filter-everything-wordpress-woocommerce-filter/reviews/31634508
Thank you in advance!

I’m using a filter with ‘Radio’ type but when I select (or hover) on a different option, it tries to use the filter with ‘filter-name-OR-other-things’ in it, rather than the unique url.
Why is it trying to use more than one on a radio type in the url? (I’ve also set it to AND statement in the settings and it still does the same)
Hi centrable,
Please send the link to the page with the issue so we can check it, and specify which filter causing the issues.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Could you provide an email to send this to please
I just sent via your profile
Why is the radio using OR in the urls?
Fixed. It was to do with the priority
We are glad to hear that the issue was resolved.
