Presales question. Is it possible to have a Subscribe button shown on the product page so that the visitor can choose to either Buy Now (if they want to buy the product as a one off) or Subscribe (if they want to subscribe on a recurring basis)? Think something similar to Amazon.
I’m keen to move the subscription option to the product page rather than the checkout page.

By creating a variable product with multiple variations it can be possible(for example, one variation for one time purchase, another variation for monthly subscription, another for 2 month subscription, etc).

When using Standard PayPal payment method, subscriptions are created in PayPal and it is managed completely by PayPal.
When using Stripe, subscriptions are managed completely by the Plugin within the site.

unfortunetly, the support is not “supporting” my problem. The plugin should work with stripe manual payment in Brazil. It doesn’t, Im waiting since september 11th(today is september 20th), I sent my website credentials, link, prints of the problem. I still don’t have any idea if they will solve my situation. Hi, can the plugin create a global subscription so it can be applied to all products across the site? Also does it allow multiple options, ie will user be able to choose if they want a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month subscription on the product? Will users also be able to choose to buy the product without a subscription?
Also, can you set the subscription for the whole cart contents and apply a discount on cart items for subscribing?

Giving subscription option for whole cart items is possible with Order Subscription feature. You can give user to choose the renewal frequency. They can purchase the order as subscription or purchase once.
Renewal discount is not possible for Order Subscription.

Hello, I don’t understand, you say that you do subscriptions with paypal api, I have the oficial woocommerce paypal payment plugin but it doesn’t appear on the checkout. Are you aware of this ?
Can’t use the Paypal Reference Transactions, i don’t have the requirement. So I need that the woocommerce paypal payment works like you wrote on description.

Automatic recurring is supported only using the below payment methods,
1. Stripe – Credit Card(using WooCommerce Stripe plugin)
2. SUMO Subscriptions – PayPal Reference Transactions(comes inbuilt with the plugin)
3. Standard PayPal
WooCommerce PayPal Payment Plugin is not supported for automatic recurring.

Ok, I checked on the web the “standard PayPal” plugin is now hidden. That’s why I didn’t found it. The new PayPal plugin doesn’t allow subscription API, but I saw that it will be soon :
“The upcoming PayPal Subscriptions feature does not require Reference Transactions and will likely be released sometime in September. This experimental feature could already be enabled in the latest plugin version but is only meant for testing and not yet for use on a production site.”
I guess once it’s pass the test and be public, it will be compatible with your plugin?

ii) We suggest you use the existing “Standard PayPal for Subscriptions” & use the below code to show the Standard PayPal gateway on your site,

You can Force users to pay automatically so that renewal amount will be automatically on the due date. But, it won’t assure they will make the payment(for example, if there is no enough amount in their account).

You can override the templates and style it as per your needs. We have also given Custom CSS option using which you can add your own Custom CSS.
Dropdown comes from the default WooCommerce variations. We have not given any specific option to control this.
