Dear redqteam, do I see that correctly, that with this plugin it is not possible to use WooCommerce’s product sales function for rental items? For example, to temporarily run a sales promotion for certain rental items? If no: Is such a function planned for the future?

Question before purchase, can the drop-off location become input field ?

You can now block dates (availability management) in a range. I would like to do it the other way around, too choose specific dates that people can rent the product.

Hi We do not have the options to do it other way around. You can set holidays for the days you do not have to do business. So only the dates that you leave as without holiday will be left for people to book.

Once again a missed opportunity from you guys, because you can do so much more with availability and blocking of data and it is quite easy to implement in the plugin.

I have a product you can rent seperate, but also as an extra “resource” or RnB category. But the problem is that if you add it as new inventory and the same product also as a new RnB category, the inventory of the product does not sync.

Lets say you can rent a mobile and you can also rent a mobile case. You can rent the mobile and the mobile case seperate from each other. But most user friendly would be if you have also the option on the ‘rent a mobile page’ to add the mobile case as extra resource and that the inventory of the mobile case ‘product’ is still correct.

The easiest way would be to have the option to add a ‘product’/’inventory’ as a resource/RnB category.

Or do you have an other solution?

Hi Unfortunately, we do not have an alternative solution. In our plugin logic a rental product can not be used as a resource for another product.

Over a year ago I asked about the prices. Still nothing changed.

So if a car costs 50 per day but 10 per hour then your system still calculates for 10hrs 100 instead of 50 for the day cause it’s cheaper for the customer.

So it’s a normal way to make a logic if another price (seasonal or hourly or day price) is cheaper for the customer to use this price.

But I think you don’t care about things like this cause you have too many sales

Hi It depends on how you set the pricing. Say you have daily price of $200 and hourly price of $10 then user will not choose daily pricing until he rents the product for more than 20 hours. But if you set say daily pricing of $100 and hourly pricing of $10 then user will choose the daily pricing if he is renting over 10 hours. Also an alternative solution can be using hourly range pricing say you set 1-5 hours $10 per hour then 6-12 hours $8 and then 13-24 hours to your daily pricing. So it is up to the site admin.

A user never gonna choose different options. He gonna put inside how long he gonna need the item/car/bike and then gonna see the price. He would leave instantly if he sees a higher price then the advert (for example 1day 100)

Other scripts has the logic that the customer gets everytime the best price. And this is also on every big site like booking.com, CHECK24.com or other similar sites.

Never seen before that I need to calculate myself and to choose the right calculation.

Hi, I have a question, regarding to the setup of the pludin. Currently it seems, that the colors and the classes are the same in case of all of the days and the visitors can choose every day, as start and end day for the rental, independent on the availability of the product. The only result of the not available days is the inactive booking button, witout any message, which is very disturbing, It would be essential to mark the available and not available days with different colors (red / green), as it is basic in case of any booking systems. Please be so kind and let me know, how can I setup it. Thank you very mcuh!

Hi That is already available. Say for example if the product is out of stock from say 10th of september to 13th of september then these dates will be grayed out.

We have multiple products with multiple quantities. For example two cars in one product, so the inventory says quantity: 2 in stock. If a customer rents a car, the product is still available? And if another customer rents the second car on the same time, then the product is not available during that time? Can a customer see the availability in a calendar?

Hi 1. yes until both the quantities are booked the car will be available. once all the cars are booked those dates will be grayed out.

I have a customer that is attempting to hire a product however when they’re attempting to select the date, it is not allowing them to do so even though the quantity has been increased on the backend. When I attempt this on my PC and from mobile, the time is blocked out and doesn’t allow me to do the hire.

we would like to know if u have any feature to send auto reminder to customers after they have successfully purchased/rent from the system. For example, after completed the rental booking, the system provide an option for customer to add the event into their calender (either outlook, phone or other calendar). This act as a reminder for the booking date & time.

Hi. Before purchasing your plugin, i was wondering about a specific feature. Is it possible to make the availability of one product depend on that of another. An example to make myself clear: our customer rents out lighting setups. Customers can choose between different setups (small, medium, large, full). If someone books the large or full setup on a certain day, all the setups should become unavailable (also the small and medium). Is this possible? Thanks in advance!
